First off, Hai works alone so if you're expecting a busy nail salon with several techs, not the place. She's been doing nails for over 20 years. She has a great story as to why she does this alone so worth asking about her story. Made me happy to support her business. I got a pedicure with gel polish single color and it was 55.00. Not bad at all for the area. My pedicure came out perfect. No complaints from me. She doesn't do artificial nails ( I don't do fake nails but for those who might). Hoping my reviews helps bring her some more business but not too much since I do plan to come back and hate for there not to be any open slots :)

I recently had a pedicure at my first nail salon in Oak Harbor, and it wasn't the best experience…read more I rarely get pedicures myself, so I was really hoping for a good one. The owner suggested I put my feet in the water while she picked my color, but I wish she had asked me to pick a color beforehand. I told her I wanted pink, but she ended up using red. Also, I wanted to warn everyone who's considering a pedicure there that she doesn't file nails or remove dead skin from your feet. I paid a lot for something I could easily do myself at home. Plus, I noticed she missed a lot of spots on the nail polish, which didn't look professionally done. It was very disappointing. She also asked how much I was tipping her in front of another customer and had me walk barefoot to her machine while my foot nails were drying. I would give no stars if I could, I'm definitely not going back to this salon.

My nail set was a better experience. The nail tech helped me figure out the length. I do see some spots on my nails that have issues. Missing nail polish and bumpy nails on my thumbs. It was a bit awkward to carry all my stuff from my pedicure chair while wearing the flip flops trying not to ruin my nails. Another customer helped me with my shoes. Usually the nail staff will help at other places I've been too. It was a little embarrassing. My overall experience was a bit disappointing. I would return in the case of an emergency but would probably keep looking for another nail salon.

I want to start by saying this review has NOTHING to do with my stylist, who was and is amazing. I…read morewill definitely be returning because of her. However, my experience with the front desk staff and the booking process was incredibly frustrating to say the least. I called a couple of months in advance to schedule my appointment and then called again the Monday before my appointment (that Saturday) to confirm the price of the service I wanted (balayage). The woman I spoke to quoted me $203.00, which I was fine with and had planned my finances accordingly. When I arrived for my appointment, everything with the stylist went smoothly, but when I went to check out, I was told the total was $328.93--$125.93 MORE than the price I was quoted just days earlier. This is a huge discrepancy, and it caught me off guard, especially after I had specifically confirmed the price only days before. Not only was I frustrated by the unexpected cost, but it also meant I couldn't tip my stylist as generously as I had planned. This lack of transparency and poor communication from the front desk is completely unacceptable. It's a huge disappointment because the stylist was wonderful, but the experience overall was marred by the miscommunication. I strongly urge the salon to address their pricing clarity and ensure that customers are quoted accurate information to avoid situations like this in the future. Just a total bummer of an experience.
