I've given this place probably 5 trys.. As there's not many nail places on island. I asked how much extra for a gel polish they said $5 originally then sits back down as says my pedicure will be $45. So my $25 pedicure since I want gel is now $45. Most salons charge $30. I question the $20 extra and he says its $15 extra. Now I'm going to another salon the get my nails done, I should have walked out when he said the prices. I've had a few alright experiences here. Most have sucked. If you want to try to relax with CHILDREN running around and crying in the back room during the awkward silence when the music turns off, this is the place for you. Just a reminder, the customers always right in customer service guys..the younger guy with the glasses needs to check his attitude with customers. I'll be going off island to get my nails done for $35 for what you would charge me $60-$70. $45 for a basic ass pedicure with gel... Damn y'all are extremely over priced!!! I went for a gel manicure last week. The next week almost every single one of my nails is breaking off. Some nails are breaking off far down on my nail bed. I've had gel nails many times before and never have had this happen. I will not be going back to this nail shop. read more

Love this place they are always super sweet and always make sure you get what you need and are super relaxed. Quinn does my nails and I always get a full set gel. We won't go here again We were staying in Oak Harbor and wanted somewhere nice to relax and get our nails done. There was a few people waiting and I asked what the what time would be. He told me about 10 min the would run our water now to pick out water. Great! So we picked out color and the girl at the end looked at me and said "if you are in a time crunch don't bother sitting down" she then proceeded to ask how much longer her stay would be that she's been waiting for 45 min already and still waiting for her gel polish to be removed. When they told her another 10 min she took off her foil and said "that was what you told me last time I asked, 20 min ago!" She took the foils off and walked out. I should have done the same then. We were there for 2hrs start to finish for 2 manis and pedis. There was very few people in there and they didn't even clean the dirt out of my moms toes or scrub her feet! I have 2 cuts on my toes and both my mom and I said that we have never had manis where our hands weren't soaked in water at any point. $80 later I would have much rather gone somewhere else. was injured multiple times through my acrylic removal and redo set. left with dark spots under my nail beds, not sure if they're bruises or what.. i was visibly in pain, jumping a bit when he would hurt me with the e file, but was kinda disregarded the whole time and he just kept going with minimal apology. i had several cuts and scrapes by the end of my appointment. my nails were all different shapes and thickness. Do NOT waste your time here. it's extremely dirty as well. definitely violating several health code violations. I had 2 nail techs helping me throughout my removal process, the first older man literally stepped out to have a cigarette during my service.... wtf. please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go. read more

I just moved here from the East coast. I'm shopping around, for good nail places. This was my first pedicure, in Oak Harbor. I received the deluxe pedicure, $45, completely not worth the price. They barely spoke any English, when I was asking questions. The man doing my toes cut them so short and cut the edges of my nails too. Making them all round and littler than my nails have ever been. This has never happened before, after he barely shaped them when filing them leaving them all sorts of shapes, nothing consistent. Then, when it came time to paint them he missed parts of my toe nails, even got some polish on my skin and didn't clean it off afterwards. Some of the paint smeared and smudged too, when he took the toe separators off too. I paid and walked out, I didn't even want to say anything because I was aggravated at that point and get blamed for something. I'm just going to take the polish off and do them myself. I'll never return to this establishment, EVER! The only reason they get two stars is because of the actual job they did on my feet and NOT my nails. read more

So let me preface this by saying I have been here a number of times and have tried time and time again to get a good set of acrylic nails. There just isn't any consistency between employees or even with the same nail tech. I recently saw Rachel and she did an amazing job for a full set I needed done for a wedding. I went back in a week later with her to change the shape and get them trimmed down since the event was over and I have to get back to having useful hands. I asked for a short almond shape. The length was good but the shape was bad. At first it seemed like they were going to turn out good but when I got home I really saw the scratches from the file and that they were not shaped evenly. I just can't keep coming here. They seem to rush through and don't take their time to do a consistently good job. What's sad is that they are probably the best place in town. You've been warned.. they might do a good job but they might not. read more

They took their time, they offered me complimentary beverages with refills, gave me a complimentary sheet mask, and they did a great job on my feet. STAPH infection. I came here Monday (23 Sept) to get a quick mani. It seemed fast and clean, but the person who did my nails cut into my cuticle with one of the tools. It bled, and the person did not clean it or stop what they were doing, but I didn't think much of it. Now, 5 days later I just left the hospital with a serious STAPH infection - had to get a penicillin shot and am on heavy antibiotics. Would select a different nail salon. Made an appointment for myself and my fiancé and my stepdaughter for us to get our nails done for our wedding. I requested Rachel as everybody said she was the best on Yelp. They didn't clean under any of our nails or trim our cuticles, what? Is that a thing because of covid or just a mistake! My fiancé works construction so he always has dirt under his nails and they just left it? Nobody was nice, we made several comments to the employees to be lighthearted or to let them know we were excited to get our nails done for the wedding, they just sat there stone faced, no expression or comments back. Rachel worked fast and seemed good but I felt rushed. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and it turned out nothing like the photo. My nails were awkward in length and shape and the gel color was not the same as my toes. I should have said something sooner but she made me feel rushed and like I was inconveniencing her so I thought I'd wait to see how they turned out since she was the "best". I'm only speaking from my experience and what happened to us. How can you give someone a mani and pedi and not even clean up their cuticles or shape their nails straight? My acrylics were lumpy and thick and looked really bad. My nail beds were showing like they didn't fill them all the way. It was so bad that I had to go to another nail salon in Burlington an hour away the day before my wedding to have them file everything down and fix them for an additional $50. This is a very decent nail salon. They employees are efficient, skilled, and the tools are clean. With a standard 25 dollar pedicure you get a longer massage than most nail salons. I don't usually polish my fingernails, so they threw in a free nail file too. The only reason they didn't score 5 stars in my book is the decor. Walked in for a pedicure today and was treated right away and taken to an open chair. The salon is very clean and the staff was friendly. Love that they offer a drink menu and add on services but we're not pushy at all. I had the regular spa pedicure and it was great, nice treatments and good long massage. They did get busy while I was there and had a wait forming so timing is everything or make appointments. I think I found my new nail spot! read more

Amazing place.... the best i have ever been to anywhere! i've only gotten a pedi but its wonderful... they massage your legs and feet for a good amount of time just with their hands, then they massage with hot stones which is heavenly, then lay a hot towel on your legs and that's not all... once you're feet are drying, they massage your neck and back! Such a relaxing experience & for a great price! The staff are great...Simon is funny. Oh, and they give you bottled water. This may be the worst pedi I have ever had especially for the price. So why two stars you ask? The second star is for the hot rocks they use to rub your legs with. So...25$ for: soaking my feet for 30 minutes (in cold water), she dried my feet, did some cuticle removal with no cuticle softener, exfoliating scrub, rubbed (not massaged) my legs with lotion, did this hot rock rubbing on my legs (which was the best part of the whole experience) then painted my toe nails. No bottom or top coat. I guess they did all the stuff you are used to just didn't do it very well. Honestly I will give it one more try and ask for a different person. I went to this place today after being gone for almost a year, and my, how things have changed! I hope they're just under new management from the last time I was here, otherwise they have done a complete 180. I had my nails done, which was ok. Then I went to get my legs waxed....First, they didn't want to do a full leg wax. Ok, I'll go for half. They sat me down in one of their horrible office chairs and had me put my leg in the waxer's lap..weird...but I'll roll with it. Then she started putting the wax on. I guess they didn't have any of the larger sticks, because she only used the stick size you would expect to be used during an eyebrow wax. Really?? So after 45 minutes, one of my leg halves was somewhat waxed. One point of waxing that I am very particular about is that the waxer should put some pressure on your skin after pulling to lessen the pain...None of that here! I left after that...and the waxing results are sub-par at best. I am NEVER returning. Oh, and this is after I saw the other review that someone mentioned they had received a staph infection...just had to check it out myself...Terrible idea. read more

The pedicure was okay, they do a very long salt scrub on your legs that made me feel raw. The manicure was not okay. I had just grown out my nails and was excited to have them painted. She immediately cut them all down to the skin and when I complained, she said well they were uneven and this is the only way they could have been even. This was not true. The hand massage was just a salt scrub between my fingers which was really uncomfortable. The paint started chipping the next day in the shower. Would not recommend, will not go back. read more

I always hate when new customers walk in as I'm getting my pedicure because most salons will rush you out of the chair to do the next person; but NOT top nails! Absolutely..worst place ...i grew my eyebrows in so i could keep them thick.. i showed the lady what i wanted my brows to look like..i had a picture.. she looked at it as if she knew what she was doing... after she finished ..i looked at my eyebrows an they were horrible.. uneven..no arch...one brow shorter then the other.. too much hair taken off in the wrong places.. and i told her i wanted the beginning of my brow squared.. well she rounded them.. so now i have no brows.. so messed up i can't really fill them in.. i will never go back to this place.. oh an by the way.. she said the reason that she couldn't do them is bc of the texture of my eyebrow hair.. too curly.. lol.. that mean my african american brows are too curly.. smfh.. get real.. she didnt know what the fk she was doing.. an if they were too curly why the fk would she start them.. that was an excuse for her fuck up.. also they still charged me.. they took off 3 dollars.. ummm it shoulda been free.. the shit ugly and im unsatisfied.. i cant find not one place out here that do good work..it should be called bottom nail ! read more
