The nails I got do not look like the nails I asked for. The base price is $50 but somehow it went up to $90 for flowers to be painted on. They didn't even ask what shape I wanted the nails, they added the acrylic to my nails while shaped squared. Also they made me bleed on one of my nails. There's nail glue around my nails and acrylic under my nails. About the nail tech, the brushes to clean up my nails and to paint the flowers, she didn't clean them and put them away with all the other brushes... that's unsanitary. read more

Nail Masters has a new regular! I came in today for my first time and was so impressed with how friendly and efficient the staff was. The environment is clean, relaxing, and spacious. Danny did my nails and they turned out exactly as I wanted! The prices are great and the service is fast. No sitting around for hours waiting to get your nails done. My wife did got a nail appointment there. A regular cleaning and it was just terrible. The quality of their work could've been better. Once cleaning was nearly finished the lady went away to eat a protein bar then proceeded to throw her wrapper in the feet cleaning bowl and then tapped her legs to put her feet in the same bowl she threw her wrapper in, WITH THE WRAPPER STILL INSIDE. I'm so disappointed in this place I got my nails done FOR MY WEDDING. They overcharged me for a manicure that was supposed to be 35 ended up by 80. They nicked my cuticles to the point they bled. I've only had these for 5 days and the pain is already scratched and coming off not to mention the were scratched when finished. I've gone a few times and each time is worse than the last. There is one specific guy who is pushy and rude and doesn't let you actually ask for what you're wanting. He is not shy about it when you try to push back. I literally just wanted to sit WITH my friend while we both got pedicures and he was super huffy about it. When I asked the guy who was doing my toes if he could do a very simple, white, chrome/iridescent look, he said "No chrome! Only the book!" And handed me a book of 100 super basic color options and some of them were there twice. We decided then to leave and get our manicures somewhere else. So instead of getting 4 services done, we got 2 and will never return. When my friend tipped he said "That's it??" The man and woman who gave us actual pedicures were good at them and quick. I think I'm being too nice even rating this place 1 star. I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and wanted to get my nails done. I called for an appointment at 1pm and still ended up waiting 15-20 minutes before I actually got to sit down. John did my nails... i asked for almond and not too short with Halloween detail. He wasn't able to do that. So I found a different design. The ENTIRE time there he rushed my nails and they are the worst set I've EVER had. Bubbles all in the gel, chipping, uneven, ROUND and NOT almond. $80 for THESE?!? ARE YOU FOR REAL?!?????!!! Please don't waste your time going here. Wow what a wonderful experience! I believe we've found our forever salon. The staff here are so friendly and funny - they had the girls and us laughing the whole time. Both our girls got custom nail designs and their eyebrows waxed. They listened as our girls told them all their crazy nail design ideas and made sure the girls were happy with them. I could not believe the girls got their eyebrows waxed, they won't even let me touch their eyebrows and I'm Mom! But they felt so safe and comfortable here they went for it. As a parent you can't ask for a better experience. Us moms also did our nails and we are both more than happy with our results They went above and beyond what we had in mind. Do not come here. I came for a dip manicure and this was the worst manicure experience I've ever had. They do not do dip nails. They may use dip powder but they apply the powder like acrylic. They also do not soak off your old dip, they simply rip it off by shoving a fake nail between your natural nail and the layer of old dip. This is not only incredibly damaging to your nail, but also super painful. When I told the guy doing my nails that this hurt, he just laughed at me. It was so painful I was in literal tears. My nails still hurt as I'm writing this. The work was also super sloppy. I have cured dip all over the sides and pads of my fingertips and on the underside of my nails. I realize there's not many choices here in Oak Harbor, but make the drive somewhere else. This place was awful. The icing on the cake was all of the old nail clippings all over the manicure station. Came for a full set a couple of weeks ago and John did amazing on them. I went to another salon to have them done the first time and the nails chipped and started to separate after just a few days. I am 17 and got my first set of acrylics here and let me tell you, it was really quite good! It cost $55 to get the acrylics put on and painted with a mat top coat. Jon did the main application, and another lady painted but I didn't get her name. I spent a lot of time sitting and waiting, getting bounced in between the two people, which I didn't love. I asked for something based on a reference photo, and Jon definitely nailed the length and shape. My cuticles weren't ruined after the application, but they weren't pushed up either, so the gapping was fairly obvious fairly quickly. They lasted about a month before the first one fell off, and I definitely put them through the ringer so it was really impressive how long they stayed on. The nails weren't sharp but made a really nice clicking sound and adequately sharp for head scratches. I will definitely be going back soon! read more

I went there based off of the reviews. I read that they were very welcoming and offer water. No they do not offer water..I got a basic pedicure. Upon leaving it looked ok. Now that I am home and in the sun I notice that my cuticles are not looking good they were not trimmed up. My nails are not cut straight. The polish is messy. The owners response to a bad manicure and pedicure was to yell and humiliate my daughter in front of the other clients in the salon. I have been getting my nails done for the last 40 years on a regular basis all over the state of California. I have never seen such a spectacle and regret not filming the incident. My daughters cuticles were massacred, her nails showed scratches from using a ruff buffer on them. When we asked to have them buffed out the manicurist acted like she had no clue what we were asking for. The delux pedicure left her with hanging skin on her toe and ruff heals. His first response was what do you want for a $20.00 manicure, I responded that I would rather pay $35.00 and have a good manicure. When my daughter said she didnt want to pay for it since she will need to go elsewhere to have it fixed he threatened to call the police. No. Just no. I went here to get pedicures with my bridesmaids for my wedding day and what a mistake that was. First off they forgot to perform half the services in our pedicures, specifically the hot stone. We mentioned it to them and they kept saying they will do them later and later never came. They didn't scrape the dead skin off my feet, didn't trim my toe nails, nor did they shape them. They didn't fully paint the toe nails (bare corners etc) and left polish on my skin. We ended up leaving the salon without any polish on our toes because none of them were capable of painting toe nails properly. The worst part of it all is that they charged us full price and not one apology for the skipped services. Not to mention they don't have ANY certifications posted on their walls. read more

Went in for the first time yesterday with my daughters. Waited about an hour for pedicures. My youngest daughter waited almost 2 hours for a gel fill. I got a gel full set which is $40. Got a blush pink color put on my nails with my ring fingers having glitter polish. (See attached picture) I guess that added another $20 for my ring fingers cause the total came out to $60.
