We've been here a few times and have always had good service. Yesterday I had life changing 5 star service. 1.) they took me very late- right before they close (thank you) 2.) I came in with a very painful ingrown toenail that had become infected )from Harmony Nails off Coleman Blvd. - do not ever go there) and they took 20 minutes to basically do surgery on my toe! I woke up today feeling like a new human. No pain, no pressure, no infection. They used gloves and alcohol and were so gentle and cautious during the process. I've been to the ER twice for this ingrown due to swelling and pain. Nothing has truly helped until yesterday. Amazing. 3.) they gave my the best massage. Long and actual pressure (not just petting my legs) I'm so grateful to not be in Pain today.

THIS PLACE SUCKS!! the workers constantly left other people to finish up our nails leaving other people stranded and they were VERY understaffed. only about 3 workers and 20 customers. also, when i was soaking my previous set in in the beginning, they forgot about me and worked on other people leaving me there for a good 25 minutes, with acetone on my nails. my nails were freezing and brittle, causing me to shake. the vibe is also terrible, bad smells, bad lighting, etc. to top it off, my sister who rarely gets to visit waited for 45 minutes with no services started on her.

Best nail place I've been to in S Mt. Pleasant! Reasonable prices and they worked so hard to make sure that my nails turned out perfectly! They also told me that it's tbeir policy to repair any nails that get messed up within two weeks. I don't know if this is common at other shops but no one has ever advertised that to me before. I was definitely impressed, and love my nails!

Well I will say they did try their best but at the end of the day I rather for them to say they weren't experienced in doing a BASIC LONG square set . I've been getting my nails done since my school days and I've always had long nails. I stopped at this Salon since I was still in South Carolina and wanted something simple. 2 1/2 hours later and I leave with disappointing BULKY nails that couldn't be shaped properly even after multiple attempts. Wasted $70 just to have to soak them and off when I get back to Georgia .

I've been coming here for 4 years and they always do a fabulous job! I do SNS on my nails and gel on my toes. The SNS lasts about 3+ weeks, toes last 6 weeks. Highly recommend

I meet a group of friends here every 3 weeks pretty much without fail. We have been going here for the past 18 months but we have been getting our nails done together for maybe the past 10 years. The places we all live includes Johns Island (me), downtown, Long Point Rd, and Sullivans Island. We have been all over West Ashley, Downtown and Mt Pleasant- maybe 8 different salons- and Top Nails is the winner hands down. We get our nails done every 3 weeks and pretty much a pedicure every 6 weeks. The staff here are professional and efficient and the store is very clean. It is a family owned business and many but not all of the staff are family members. Incidentally, they moved into a larger space in 2018. The new location is just two doors down from the old location in the same strip mall. The interior in addition to being larger is now BLUE. Any photograph on YELP of the interior with GREEN walls is the old (smaller and darker) location. In the new location you walk into a clean bright (blue) salon entirely for manicures. You walk through the manicure room to get to another large room (perpendicular to the first room) that is all pedicures. The staff here are also very creative and on point with the latest nail trends- which is fun. We have done regular polish, gel, SNS powder, OPI powder and another brand of powder I don't remember. I get complements on my nails on a regular basis. I've attached some examples to this review :)

I believe in second chances. After, several women in our plaza bragged about Long technical skills. I decided to give them one more chances. I had SNS nails that are so beautiful and natural . I had THE best nail experience at this salon. My nail tech took his time perfecting my nails and often asked me if I was okay the length, color, shape, etc. His attention to detail blew me away. I highly recommend this salon, so much so, that I am willing to make the almost 2 hour drive for another set. read more

This nail salon seems popular with the locals and the staff was friendly but I have had much better manicures. I had the OPI gel done numerous times before and this is the first time that the gels started peeling after a couple of days. In addition, my daughter had her nails done and the polish came off in couple of days when she was swimming. We went on a Tuesday for their $4 off service special which does not specify with coupon, so my mom and sister did not get the discount since I asked about the discount after they had already paid. The ad also mentioned a free nail kit, which we didn't receive either. I did receive a nice eyebrow wax. read more

I had a bad experience at another nail salon in Charleston (I had gotten dipping powder manicures there multiple times and they would always chip after less than a week), so I decided to try this place. If you have a nail tech that you thought you had a appointment with, they will tell you only after you sit down that " Oh he is on Vacation " and expect to use someone else. Lye and Tony are my go to nail guys here in Charleston. I get SNS dip nails with them and they always last a long time. They are friendly and quick. The salon has a ton of color to choose from and it's always clean. All the employees are extremely nice. I would definitely recommend this nail salon. read more

My friend & I had a great experience there today for manicures and pedicures. My nail technician was Denny. He gave the best massage and my nails look great. He was very thorough and didn't rush my services. Our appointments started right on time with no wait, and they made sure we could sit together for both services. They will also do a foot and leg massage instead of a pedicure upon request, which is what my friend did. read more

My husband and I came here in July 2021. We needed a pedicure right before we had surgery at MUSC. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing. Everyone greeted us and was kind to speak with. Today, Hannah and Katy did our pedicures and were absolutely wonderful. This place has a lot of great reviews and I'm adding to it because they are true. Pedi was nice but I'm not happy with my gel manicure. The tech hardly cleaned up the skin around my nails so they look pretty crappy. Also, I went on a Saturday and the day after one of my nails chipped. I went back and got it fixed and two days later (Tuesday) another one chipped. It's now Wednesday and a 3rd has chipped. Maybe I just got a bad tech - not sure. But I'm pretty upset and doubt I'll be going back unless they make it right somehow. read more

Fair prices and I'm pretty happy with my gel manicure. They were willing to add an extra coat for me and the wait wasn't bad at all. Updating now - manicure is chipping when it hasn't quite reached 2 weeks. Most places last 2-3 weeks. Lowered rating due to that. read more

Try this salon because was close by the hotel I was lodging. The man that did my pedicure did a good job, but the lady I guess in charge was rude. I was planning to do gel nails and a pedicure, but she got upset when I couldn't decide which color For my gel manicure. Even though she wasn't doing my pedicure. Went to Nails so Deep for my gel manicure. They were great. Excellent customer service. read more

Clean, friendly, and fast. I got a pedicure with a dark turquoise color. The massage that went with it was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep in the chair. My gel French manicure was expertly done by Katie who has been in the business for 18 years. Many of the locals know that they can pop in for a quick touch up. Try to remember your color though because there are many! No reservations on the weekends but I was there around 2pm and there wasn't a wait. read more

My sister picked this place to get our nails done for my wedding because the location was close to where we all had lunch. We were really pleased with the service and quality. There was a group of us and she made it exclusive just to our group for the 2 hours we were there and was very accommodating! It's been almost 3 weeks and my nails still look great! I wish I found this place sooner! This is my go to nail salon, I will not be a regular at another nail salon ever! I always feel welcomed here and the atmosphere is so relaxing, it's the perfect place to get your nails done after a long day. I had the best experience tonight at Top Nails. On a Friday, it's expected there be a wait but the staff was so great, apologizing and offering me beverages. I didn't mind waiting at all but once I was called over, they took great care of me. My technician did an amazing job and let me show him a pic of what I wanted. He was so detail oriented and careful, and he kept checking with me to see if I was happy as I went. When I went to pay, they gave me a 10% discount for the wait, which was completely unnecessary but a sign of great customer service. I will definitely be back again! read more

I went on favorable reviews from Yelp but this time I do not agree. I took advantage of trying a new place while in Mount P. The shop seemed very dirty and bare. Color selection was great if you want pink but don't expect better colors. The guy painted on my toes and I had to say something for him to fix it. I felt very unwelcomed and almost a bother to be there. I'll stick to my usual spot next time. read more

I have lived in Charleston for years and have never found a nail place I am happy with. Most places downtown over charge and under deliver, and are often too busy to even notice you walked in the door. Such was the case today and it was so bad we were willing to go over the bridge to Mount P and try this place. I AM SO GLAD WE DID! We came in at 5:20 on a Sunday knowing they closed at 6:00 (called ahead to be sure) and were the only people in the place. They seemed actually delighted to have us and didn't rush our manicures or pedicures at all and did a great job. The foot massage / leg massage was the best I have had in a long time. I am so happy I found Top Nails and will most certainly be back. read more

I have had my nails done regularly for 15 years, so when I moved to Charleston 3 years ago, I was in search for a nail tech who was knowledgeable and friendly. As with your hair dresser, I knew I would ultimately be spending a lot of time with them, so I wanted someone who I could count on who I would want to spend time with and who would have the highest safety standards. After going through about 5 nail places throughout Mt. Pleasant, I ended up getting a nail infection at 2 different places:-( So it was with great relief that I found Katie and Kevin and Top Nails. Not only are they friendly and professional and reasonable, but they are also very fast! I wouldn't go anywhere else! They are the best:-) read more

On January 30th: Celebrating my 40th Birthday I decided to get filler in my nasolabial folds (wrinkles between the lips and nose). Feb 1st: Incredible pain and white blanching/bluish tint. Told it was normal. Bruising. Feb 2nd: Realized what I was experiencing was skin necrosis and the tissue on the left side of my nose was dead and the cartilage was collapsing in on itself. This was from my own "gut instinct" that it wasn't bruising as I was told; the black skin was not going to "grow back". A laser treatment or IPL was not going to reshape my nose, as I was told. For the next several weeks I was shuffled to a "private" waiting room as to not let other potential clients see the damage that was done to my face. My self esteem, at an all time low, was further shattered by being hidden from plain view because the "med spa" didn't want their bottom line to be hurt. After that "follow up", where I was yet again told everything was fine and put "Aquaphore" on it; I made the decision that it was time to seek proper treatment from a competent medical professional. What followed was many months of not being able to leave my house unless it was to get my wet to dry bandages changed. The possibility of infection and further cartilage damage was my sentence to spend the next four months within the four walls of my home. In May I underwent my first reconstruction surgery. Skin and cartilage was taken from my ear to reconstruct the interior of my nose. This helped me be able to breath again (50%) from my left nostril. It was the first of many surgeries and procedures that will occupy the better part of my life. To hear the words, from a well respected facial reconstruction surgeon, that I will be permanently disfigured- was a tough pill to swallow. Yes, I made the ultimate decision to under go the procedure. However, I was never warned of the risks. I had absolutely no idea what to look for. Had I been properly informed of ALL the risks; even if they are considered rare, perhaps I would had made a more INFORMED decision. I was never given a waiver to review or sign. I never was verbally told of the dangers. I'm letting you know the risks and dangers of what some consider a small "cosmetic" procedure. If you are going to go that route; please consider going to a board certified surgeon. Someone that is familiar with the product they are injecting in your body. And if there is a complication, they are knowledgeable to be able to help you before the damage becomes permanent. The sad part, the "med spa" that did this, never once offered to pay ANY of my medical bills. Never heard from them again after the last follow up in mid February. I guess they thought I would go away and they were above the law. But doctors take a Hippocratic Oath to uphold specific ethical standards. This was not the case at Aestedispa in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Shame on you Dr. Christy Cone. I hope you don't do this to another client and hide behind your fake smile.

I went to Top Nails today, few days before the 4th of July. Expected it to be very busy which they were. We waited for few minutes which is okay because they were busy and we were seated shortly. The technicians were very polite and friendly. My pedicure felt AMAZING and it were not rushed when there are people waiting. It was my husband first pedicure and he loved it. Told me he will sneak out and go by himself from now on :). Gel manicure were Perfect, I am really picky when it comes to my hands. They polish it close to my cuticles and it was perfectly rounded, which I love because when it grows out it will still look good. There is a bonus where there is a restaurant beside the salon and you can order a glass wine while you get your pedicure. Overall it is the best salon to go. I have tried different places around the area when I am down from Charlotte and Top Nails is by far the best. I will definitely be back when I am down in Charleston again. read more

I went to Top Nails to get a gel mani and pedi and it was my best experience. The staff were super friendly and color selection is great. I have a very bad ingrown toenail and it was very well taking care of. I could hardly walk with it but now it does not hurt as much when I wear my shoes. My gel manicure lasted for almost 3 weeks. My nails are very thin so the gel could chip very easily but it only did when I hit my nails on a table top. Top Nails are wonderful and I will definitely be back. read more
