They did a good job with eye brow wax twice, and a pedicure! Everything is clean, and they are very friendly.

I'm new to the area and made an appointment on a whim - I pulled into the parking lot and someone was outside to greet me! They are SO SO SO friendly and make you feel like you're the only guest there. I can't recommend them enough! read more

I should've driven away as soon as I saw the faded posters in the window but because I had an "appointment" I went in anyway... and what a mistake that was. The manicure was haphazardly rushed through as they took more customers in than they could manage at the same time (what's the point of making an appointment?). I was also unhappy with an alarming sanitary issue (going between clients without changing gloves). read more

I came in and the staff was so so nice. I wasn't happy with how my nails turned out, so I came back in today and she redid them for free. She was so nice about it too. They look amazing and I am so greatful for the wonderful service. I will definitely be back! read more

Post-bridge run, I decided to treat myself to a pedicure. I have been to a number of salons in the area and always left feeling underwhelmed. The place a friend recommended was closed on Sundays, so I turned to Yelp and wa-la, ended up at Holy Nails and Spa. Pulling up, this was a cute house-turned-into business setup. I was greeted and helped immediately when I walked in. A man started setting up my chair and directed me to choose from a wall of colors (there are plenty, but it was not overwhelming like some salons). He asked me if I wanted water, soda, red, or white wine. I went with the white and was served in a cute champagne glass. I also appreciated the fact that he handed me menu, which described each pedicure option with pricing, before even starting. The pedicure itself was relaxing, I felt there was enough attention to the scrub, massage, cuticle/shaping, and polish - the standard pedicure was $35. So happy to have found a place I'm looking forward to returning to! read more

The quality of my nails is incredible! Jenny did an amazing job, and I will definitely be back. Service was amazing

The staff is very friendly and eager to please. I usually get a mani/pedi, and they insist on a gel manicure. Prices are not a bargain but the staff's good humor is enough to keep me coming back read more

I was attending a wedding on Friday night. I went in on a Wednesday for a dip manicure. It was done differently ... it was a new place to me, maybe that's how it's done here, I thought. My nails started chipping on Thursday evening but I was already out of town; so no opportunity to go back for a re-do. My hands looked awful. I paid $50 and left a $10 tip. NEVER AGAIN. Do not go to this place. read more

This was 50 for a fill and not coffin like I asked. Had to have her fix multiple mistakes asked her to file the nail and not make it so fat and bulky, nails were crooked it was sad and I felt rushed even though there was no one else in the shop at the time. I usually like to give credit where credit is due, but it is not this place. This will be the first and last attempt. read more

Holy Nails & Spa - This is their version of coffin. First and last attempt. Felt rushed, had to have her correct mistake after mistake. Plus this 50 bucks. - Nail Salons Near Me - Charleston, South Carolina

I love this place! Everyone is so nice and accommodating and their prices are wonderful! It has a nice, peaceful atmosphere and a relaxing vibe! I don't get my nails done often so I went to Holy Nails for two reasons: it's super close to my place and the reviews. I called to make an appointment which was super easy but seemed like they don't mind walk-ins. Was greeted right away and was shown the nail colors to choose from. Had a lot of colors to choose from! Started my pedi right away. The water was nice and the chair was clean. The man who did my pedicure provided me the menu of what pedicure I wanted to choose in which I went with just the classic. He also asked if I wanted my nails trimmed, if I was okay, if I needed anything and really took the time in prepping my toes. The massage was nice as well. During the pedicure they started my SNS manicure which they were really helpful in picking out the color. She asked if that was alright which I was fine with, but sometimes just sitting at the pedicure chair with nothing to do is nice too. After my pedicure was finished, we finished my manicure at the nail station. She asked how I liked them as she continued on, was very polite and friendly. The only con I have with my experience is how fast my nails were painted. I felt like it was a race to get them done that you can see from the pictures that paint ended up on my skin. I know it comes off but I shouldn't have to go home and get the extra off my skin. Also I wish a hand massage with lotion was included in my manicure. Overall, I was pleased with Holy Nails and would recommend to anyone looking for kind people and a clean place. read more

Horrible! My toes were literally clipped straight across and clipped very short. On top of this they were filed on top which is leading to breakage. They look awful! read more

I am always impressed with the professionalism from Ana(Mama), Jenny and Papa. They always make me feel like home when I come to get my nails done. I used to come in religiously before the pandemic but then started to scale back, then my job took me to Northern Virginia. I tried several places up there and I can't find anywhere comparable to the service they provide and the quality of work. I drove 500+ miles just for this experience!! So if your looking for a quality and consistent place for your nails and waxing needs, this is the place. Even if you are only here for vacation! COME and enjoy a glass of wine while they pamper you! read more

Came to this family owned salon because they're located close to where I was staying at. Booked an appointment for a dip powder manicure ($45), but it looked like they accepted walk ins as well. Jenny was extremely courteous and made sure I was happy with the shape and color of my nails. She noticed that I had a cough and offered me some water. Had an excellent experience visiting Holy Nails and Spa! The service was very clean, friendly, and professional. Anna did a dipping powder with tips for me and they look and feel perfect. The outside of the building is unassuming, but the inside is very clean and comfortable. The affordable cost reflected the high quality service and experience that it purchased as well. Went in this morning for a pedicure. Great selection of colors and the inside is nice. The man who did my pedicure cut my big toe and when it started to bleed, he tried to cover it so I couldn't see it. Nice try but it still hurt! The massage was long but the actual "toe" stuff was non existent. He didn't even trim my cuticles. He got up in the middle and went to the bathroom for like 15 mins. Another girl came out to paint my nails. She spoke no English at all and the tech next to her has to translate what I wanted on my toes. She put my shoes on before painting my nails and got polish on my $100 Birkenstock sandals. I will try one more time maybe but I will try and get the tech my mother in law had, she seemed a lot better! Went in to get new SNS. I was left to soak in remover for a hour to the point my fingers were pruny. I kept asking when someone was going to help me but was told that I had to keep sitting there. The actual SNS did not last even 2 weeks before cracking and chipping. I have learned my lesson and will stay far, far away from this place! Beware. read more

THE BEST NAIL SPA IN CHARLESTON!! Best gel pedi / mani and service! Family business as well, thoroughly enjoyed my experience!

I have really tried to give this place a chance. Today was the last time I will go to this salon. Upon arrival one of the workers rushed me in, sat me down in the pedicure chair and said she would be right back. The mom was attending to three other patrons who were getting pedicures and eventually came over to me and said the other girl was on her way. Apparently she had an errand to run and didn't bother asking me if I could or would wait. I sat in the chair for an hour! The girl finally came back and was very appreciative that I waited but when she asked if I wanted a pedicure AND manicure I said I didn't have time for both, just a pedicure, her demeanor changed and she gave me one of the worst pedicures ever! To make things even worse, some other worker comes out of the back, he had been there the whole time, and started helping other patrons. I understand if someone was on a break but taking a break when there is only one person working and the other one stepped out to run errands and making people wait for over an hour, is bad business. Honestly, the manicures and pedicures I have received in the past were average best and very expensive. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Overall pretty unimpressed by this place. The reviews made me believe that this was going to be a great mani/pedi experience. I made an appointment and appeared on time and proceeded to feel like they were rushing as they got busy. Different folks were taking care of me. This was my first time here, I am extremely satisfied with my services I came in at 7(I get off at 7) when they close at 730 I told them I wanted to do pedicure and acrylic but I know they close soon so if we only had time for 1, I understood. They gladly took me in to do both services. I added a salt scrub to my classic pedicure and it was wonderful. Definitely the relaxation I needed from a stressful day. Then a nice lady came out and told me about the sns nails, I had considered doing this so I decided to give it a try with tips added. My nail tech was so thorough and made sure everything was even. I am very pleased with both my nails and toes! All for a good price too ! I will be back ! read more

Super sweet people that work there! They did a great job on my gel set! They were always sure to make sure I was ok- if I wanted drinks, was a pleased with the length, shape, etc. They even expressed interest in my name, and things about me which made it a more personal experience which I really appreciated. So definitely will be going back. The only negative thing I can say is sometimes it was hard to understand their English, but super great people there. And wasn't too expensive, so that puts the cherry on top! read more

This place is fantastic. Probably the friendliest salon I have been to. I was feeling crazy and brought 4 kids (2 12 and 2 9) with me and we all got pedis. They were safe, sanitary, and efficient. Nails look great and kids loved it. Will come back next time we are in town. read more

BEST NAIL SALON IN CHARLESTON! The staff at Holy Nails are amazing!!! I brought my bridal party to their salon for manicures and pedicures before my wedding day. The owner of the Salon, Ana, made us home made spring rolls, egg rolls, fried rice, and other DELICIOUS food. They even had wine and champagne for us to celebrate. Every single staff member was extremely kind and professional. We each got pedicures, in their massage spa chairs, and manicures with the SNS dipping powder. Heather did my pedicure, where she took her time and gave me the most glorious calf massage, then making sure my toes looked perfect. Tye did my manicure, where he gave me a gorgeous French manicure with the SNS dipping powder, which I HIGHLY recommend. Now, two weeks later, my nails still look perfect. I will absolutely be going back to Holy Nails for my future manicures and pedicures. read more

Very clean and pretty family-run salon. I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in, without an appointment, which was not a problem. I was getting the works: mani, pedi, and eyebrow wax. I was offered something to drink as soon as I sat down, which was very welcomed. Pedi was relaxing, I went with the basic, which included a nice massage. I upgraded my mani to include the sugar-honey scrub and paraffin wax, which really made my dry hands feel baby soft. I went with the powder-dipped mani and I love the way it looks. It is supposed to have the longevity of a gel mani without being as harsh. Waxing was quick and great. Highly recommend!! read more

Holy Nails and Spa was a wonderful place to visit during my long stay in the Charleston area. Very down-to-earth, unpretentious, funny and warm-hearted staff. They did wonderful work! The worst dip I have ever had. She left dip all over my fingers. My nails looked like they had never touched a nail file. Maybe it was my fault for not clarifying that I wanted my nails to look good and not like a sloppy 4 year old did them?!? I don't know. What I do know is I wasted $50 and 30 minutes of of my day. Next time I'll just use the $50 to start a $50 at least I'd get something out of that. read more

Great mani/pedi today! Quinn was so sweet and accommodating to my needs. She let me know that she thought my pedi didn't look that great because the color I picked was too light. She was so sweet to get me a new color and take off the polish she just did before I even said anything. My gel mani looks great as well. Truly satisfied. Thank you! read more

The WORST nails I've ever had. I got the dip (SNS) and I will NOT be going back. Due to a scheduling issue I had to find another nail place and therefore stumbled on Holy nails but I wish I would've just continued on with grown out nails ready to break vs. what I got there. They are not smooth looking at all. It's a super sloppy job, I have hard dip all over my fingers resulting in 8 of my nails feeling "glued" to my skin. They have scuff marks and look super gritty. My boyfriend said it looks like gloss over sandpaper! They also didn't use any cuticle oil let alone pay attention to the skin around my nails so I have to take care of my own hang nails. They're so bad that it's embarrassing, I'm going to go get them taken off ASAP. Don't waste your money! read more
