It's places with customer service like this that makes you drive an hour away to In-N-Out. When asked to repeat the order three times and you STILL get the wrong food, what a joke! Then when asked where our missing items were, the lady stood with her with her hand on her waist and tells us that the line of people (that were just behind us) are in front of us and it'll take 10 minutes for her to fix this. The food is even better than ever. Great burgers. Although, sometimes the fries aren't cooked quite as well done as I'd like (sometimes soggy). Their onion rings are the textbook perfect fast food onion rings. Service here is always good, like really good, everyone working here is super friendly and competent. Inside is classic old school burger place, but it's clean with large windows that bring in lots of light. Plus, there is a window for drive thru and another window for walk-up orders. As usual, plenty of tables outside which makes this place especially great in the summer time. Milkshakes and ice cream are also phenomenal too. read more

I was really excited to try this place but it was not as good as I thought it would be. My burger was bland and the buns were soggy. The onion rings and fries were good though. Really sad but a few hrs later after eating my burger, I had the worst stomachache of my life. I was nauseous and had chills as well. I don't know what's going on down there. I understand messing up once in awhile and I though it was just a fluke the last two times. The past 3 times we have ordered family dinner has been horrible. The tater tots have been inedible overcooked and full of grease. The cheeseburger even though it's suppose to be fresh cooked taste like they been setting out all day. Twice now my bun has been so hard on parts of the edges I had too throw half of it away. Something is always not right I now always count the numbers of items before I leave as it seams like something is always missing. This time which is the reason I'm writing this review it was just horrible and half our food was wrong. It's very sad to have to write this review as this has been one of our favorite spots for years. Unfortunately I will not be back for quite awhile. Okay, let me start off by saying I'm a loyal Top Burger patron. While I have come accustomed to great food in a clean restaurant, today marks the second visit with my son where the outdoor picnic table eating area was deplorable. Seriously, send one of the several teenage staff members out and clean the picnic tables (and seats) at least one a month. This place has been around forever.... and rightly so. I remember eating here even 25 years ago. It's "ma and pa" fast food.... and isn't that wonderful!!!! Once we ordered they took 26 minutes to serve 4 ice cream cups. No toppings. Just 4 scoops of ice cream. Placed in cups. 26 minutes. When we first arrived one person was waiting at the walk up counter said she had been there for 23 minutes. I ignored the warning because I thought she was exaggerating after all there was no line. We went here the other day for some ice cream cones. The guy that was helping us, well... we ordered three ice cream cones and a side of fries. Everyone is wearing plastic gloves due to the pandemic, so he takes our money and rings us up on his register with his gloves then goes to scoop out ice cream. He scoops one cone and I guess the scoop isn't staying on so he mushes it down with his glove. I mean, why not right? So he hands us one cone through the window. He goes to put the ice cream tub away and brings out another flavor for our second cone. He scoops that out and by the time he hands us the second cone, the first cone is almost eaten. So on and so forth until the last ice cream order is handed out the window in a bowl. And that was supposed to be my cone. So I ask him, "hey where's my ice cream cone?" He says, "oh I forgot." And mushes a cone on top of some ice cream in my pitiful paper bowl. The ice cream tastes like freezer burn and the fries were cold and also tasted like freezer burn. Freaking fantastic shakes and the variety is amazing. The reason I am giving them a low rating is that they post their hours saying that they are open till 9pm. I drive up at 8:20 and am told they close early this time of year because there is no business. Well I was there and another car pulled in behind me so there was some business. I have no problem with them choosing to close early in the winter , but be consistent. Either always close at 8 and post your actual hours or stay open till 9 like your signs advertise. read more

I grew up in Camas off of Everett St. Parents still live in my childhood home. I remember my childhood, high school sweetheart, eventual husband and I sharing many a basket of fries there. But this was when a "medium fry " fed us for a meal! And part of that was the charm. They are notorious for their French fries! But Top Burger no longer had that staple of being the ultimate fry and shake shack. It's clear when the new management took over that financial gain remained more important. I get it, we all gota make a dollar, and you lost long term customers. I know friends and family who would drive across town, and at a time state lines from Oregon for Top Burger, but not anymore. You have to truly stand out to keep life long customers. And you have to maintain ALL factors that keep you as a focal point. I'd happily drive 20 miles to get me an "old school" basked of top burger fries and a shake with endless ketchup. But no way I'm paying close to 5 bucks for a half ass filled medium fry for that price. Nope. And I drive by you weekly to visit my parents. It's a shame. read more

I hate to leave this review but the owner needs to take responsibility for their employees actions. Yesterday we stopped in made a order and we'll we watch their employees give our food to someone else which were kids. I talked to the young girl at the counter and told her what happen, she immediately grabbed one of the owners, the older lady Immediately started blaming the young teenagers who took the food. Your employees gave them the food, how dare you blame these kids and make a big stink out of it, then your husband said the same thing. Thanks for the refund but you lost me as a customer because the way you acted and blamed four innocent teenagers, instead of taking responsibility for your employees. Good food, employees are just forgetful and very rude. Asked for a large milkshake, got a regular. Asked for 3 containers of ranch, and got one. When I went inside to get more they tried explaining that it's $1 for one little container of ranch when it's normally 45 cents! The customer service is really awful here. Was standing at the takeout window for over 10 minutes and was simply just asking to see a menu. There were several employees and even the owner/ owners wife who looked directly at me and didn't even acknowledge that I was waiting. They proceeded to answer the phone, take drive they orders and even orders from customers coming INSIDE to order. I wouldn't have minded if someone would have simply said "it'll be just a moment" & acknowledge me but no one said anything and I stood there waiting in the cold. I ordered the Top Burger which says that it's a quarter pound but doesn't tell you that it's actually 2 thin patties that equal a quarter pound. The patties were over cooked and dry. The highlight was the French fries. They were great. They put a seasoning on them and they are addictive. I'll go back for the fries but won't be getting a burger.
