Tony's BBQ is so worth the drive! I had the pulled pork bbq sandwich with slaw on top. Tater tots were golden and buttery. The cucumber salad is thinly sliced in a vinegar and oil, absolutely crunchy and delicious. The view is lovely lots of green hills and a vineyard. There is patio seating and picnic tables near by. There are two establishments that you can walk to for a variety of beverages: 61 vineyard/tasting room and another spot that sells beer, wine, and slushies. People were kicking back enjoying the Saturday; great for friends, families, couples, and dogs. This community has a total vibe going on and I'm definitely going back so that I can get more of the amazing scenery and tasty BBQ! read more

This place just opened a few days ago, so I'm sure they're just settling in. Keeping that in mind, I'm giving a pass on the lack of atmosphere and decor in the dining room. It's pretty much a bare room, with a few tables and chairs... I have a feeling they're still getting that all sorted out, so this review is just focusing on the food: I'm really happy to find a good barbecue place right around the corner from our house. This is definitely been missing. Tonight, my wife and I had the pulled pork sandwiches. They were fantastic! The pork was smoked perfectly, juicy, and not too fatty. They're served in a warm brioche bun. These come with coleslaw on the sandwich, and a sweet/tangy sauce that I really like. It's a pretty big sandwich, so it's definitely worth what you're paying. It also comes with a small cup of sweet and spicy cucumber salad, which is a nice touch. I really like it. Bad coleslaw could be a deal breaker for me with barbecue joints, so I'm happy to say that they know their stuff. Perfect ratio of creamy/vinegary, and chopped to just the right texture. Well done guys! Looking forward to trying the brisket and the mac and cheese next time. (Sorry I didn't get a pic, but we were so hungry when I got this home, we pretty much devoured it.) read more

Just ate a pulled pork sandwich from here. Paid $14 dollars and $7 for a container of Mac and cheese. Very disappointing. Sandwich meat was dry and tough. What they call slaw was chunks of red onion and cabbage which didn't taste like slaw at all. The Mac and cheese was not homemade which I thought I would be coming from a set up like there's. It was the same that you buy frozen in the Bob Evans container from the grocery store. My opinion is to not eat there. They should probably think about shutting it down if that's what there putting out for as expensive as it is. Come on guys!! read more

Given the great reviews of this place, I was thinking I would find a great BBQ hot truck and food that corresponded to the picture I had seen. Sadly, just wasn't the case. My brisket platter came dried out and not all that tasty (even with pretty good BBQ sauce) and the corn bread, mac and cheese and cole slaw were just OK, nothing special. My wife's pulled pork sandwich was good, she says. The kicker was that the prices on the hot truck did not correspond to the current prices. I understand that inflation has taken its toll, but please put the correct prices on the menu, otherwise it's just false advertising. What I thought would be around $30 was over $40. Stopped by on a whim, it's a moving truck (pretty cool I might add). The pulled pork platter I had was great so ended up getting 2 more platters for the family at home. Server was on the phone while i ordered so i couldn't even ask questions about the menu. I've tried all of the items on the menu and they were very good. Sometimes Tony will present me with a free sample. He gets artistic with the brisket platter by decorating it with sauce and pickle slices. For a reasonable amount of money your appetite will be well sated. I hired Tony's BBQ to come out to our private swimming club for the entire Memorial Day weekend and I'm so glad I did. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and having his truck there on-site was a huge convenience for our members. We met to discuss where he could put his trailer, he was also super detailed and thorough talking out options for our event.
