I had the best burger, my husband had the burnt ends, our friends loved the turkey BLT, and my daughter devoured the hush puppies and the seasonal squash soup -- absolutely delicious! The ribs fall off the bone and are to die for. They're so creative with their sauces, made and bottled right on the premises, and their award-winning history is well deserved. Diana was the best waitress, and manager Rob was outstanding -- he checked on us and made sure everyone was content. We sat for quite a while enjoying our company and were never rushed; they doted on us and we felt like we were dining with family. We'll definitely be back! Did I mention the convenience of the location right off of route 70 and 27?! Perfect place for a meetup!

The pulled chicken wasn't my favorite, it was really fatty and it turns me off the whole meal when I bite into a piece of gristle. The sauces were so good though. Service was fast! Would come here again, just not for the pulled chicken.

Even in the "off-season," they'll post that they're selling batches of their meat and we've ordered that twice for family dinner. Everything we've had is great, but their pork is our absolute favorite! It's unlike any I've ever had. Smoked Pork loin sliced thin, so flavorful and juicy! And the homemade sauces are yummy too. Kevin is a master at his craft and keeps everything meticulously clean while he works and his staff are always kind too. Seriously, find them and you won't be disappointed.

Spousal Unit and I went to the Boonsboro Food Truck Day event on a beautiful end-of-summer day. Had…read morelots of choices, and after wandering around ordered beef sandwiches from one of our favorite trucks, Whistle Punk Farms. We sat on a stone ledge to enjoy our meal when a police officer parked nearby. He sniffed and smiled and said "Ah, Whistle Punk. Nice sandwich. But you want to know the best beef here?" We did, and he pointed in the direction of Keep It Smokin' B.B.Q. He said their their pit beef was excellent but their pit pork was even better. I love recommendations from someone who knows, and his was spot on. We wandered over and watched the operation for a few minutes. The owner offered us a taste of the beef; it was charcoal-charred, really juicy, tender, and rubbed with a pepper-forward spice. It was incredible - easily one of the top three I've tasted anywhere. Ah, but then he offered tastes of pit pork loin, crunchy exterior yet dripping with juices. I've eaten a boatload of Philly Pork sandwiches but this, this, THIS made them all taste like charcoal. Neither one needed onions or tiger sauce or BBQ sauce or anything other than delicious meat. Their prices and portions were reasonable. My only complaint is that their truck doesn't come to my county so I'm gonna have to drive to them - and I will. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.

We opted to sit outside since we had our dog with us. The server was very friendly, with great service and they are very dog friendly and had water bowls outside for them. I am from Eastern NC, so I have a pretty good idea of bbq and BC staples. I decided to try the flounder rather than the bbq this time. The founder was disappointing. It was a bit on the bland side and the batter is a little confusing. I was expecting a cornmeal style batter or similar, but got something different. The fish itself had potential to be very good. The beans also left a lot to be desired, just lacked flavor and taste. The business looks like they do a lot of catering as opposed to dining (possible a lot of to go orders, too).

I am grateful for his hospitality. It made me want to eat more. He also helped introduce me to the ramen station, which paired wonderfully with the bbq. The interior was good. I like how it's not so huge inside that you have to look around for your server. Maybe it just felt that way because John was always nearby and ready for action.

FINALLY a place with good Mexican "taco shop" style food!…read more Being from San Diego, I didn't realize how "spoiled" we were with good Mexican food everywhere until moving here. I was beginning to lose hope, but this place is GOOD! My husband and I got a few things to try and share together: California Burrito, Tacos Dorados, and Birria Tacos. The Cali Burrito sounded attractive because it is made very similarly to taco shops back home. The carne asada had a good flavor and overall, the burrito was tasty. It was a decent size as well! I wish I had gotten a photo of it before we demolished it lol. I loved getting rolled tacos, so the Tacos Dorados were the closest thing and they were so good!! I asked to add guacamole on top and would highly recommend. SO good. The birria tacos were very flavorful!! The consumé was also flavored nicely. They were also stuffed with meat and cheese! They give you a red salsa and a green salsa. Both are very good! I can't tell which one is spicier because I used them both simultaneously. They also serve you chips and pico with your order! I'm so glad this spot opened up! I will DEFINITELY be back for more. Note: it is inside the gas station, to the left as soon as you walk in.
