All you can eat with reasonable price. Quality food, tasted meat. Attentive service, friendly staff. Convenient location with ease of parking. Inside air conditioning was cranked up due to the amount of bbqing that's going on love the flaming vibe. Good for large groups or couples. Highly recommend by IG@WineDinenVacay

This is by far the best Korean barbecue I have ever had not only are they super friendly but they are so helpful even if you are starter, they have the best staff that makes you feel so welcomed, the place is always clean and it's always the best service. But you will also get some bombast margaritas

We tried GogiGo and the food is delicious and flavors are on point. I enjoy their quality of meats and selection of bon chon or "side plates." I enjoyed the Hawaiian Bulgogi and Galbi. However, I was not a fan of their stringent "rules." You're allowed only three meats of your choice at one time. Then for children AYCE, they charge by height, not age. Also they will charge you if you order "too much." The ambiance is busy and loud. Lots of activity going back and forth, but the service is quick and efficient. The servers were constantly checking on our table to ensure we got refills in a timely manner, which was much appreciated. I'm glad to have a Korean restaurant option in Frederick and looking forward to going back.

This place was phenomenal, the food was delicious and they knocked it out of the park for my friends birthday. We got a dessert, picture, and tshirt. Will definitely be back, thank you!!

So happy we tried this place tonight. At 7pm on a Friday they were able to seat us immediately. Mae was our waitress and she was so funny and personable. Honestly everyone that helped us was amazing and they were HUSTLIN busy. They gave us recommendations of meat to order and what dips to use it with. They have AYCE menu A and B. Both have great options and cost 31/38 depending on which menu you get. The food was delicious, highly recommend the Hawaiian bulgogi, spicy chicken and hanger steak. We will definitely be back soon!

We've been to a few Korean bbq in Maryland and I am so excited to have one so much closer to home! Usually we are driving down to Rockville or germantown so I couldn't wait to try GogiGo shortly after it opened. We went as a group of 7 and they were easily able to accommodate. The service was excellent and the staff was very attentive to our needs. I loved the unlimited sides and the meats were good quality. We had a great time enjoying the food, service, and company. We finished with about 10 min left of the 90 min time limit and left feeling satisfied.

First time at a Korean BBQ place. Order your meats and cook for yourself. With a party of 8 it was super fun. The downside of this is that it was pretty cramped. The tables aren't quite large enough. All you can eat lowest option is $31 per person but it was fun and worth it I think! Make sure whoever likes to cook is sitting in the middle. Rice and water refills just kept coming fast which is nice and there are plenty of servers that you can place your next order with anyone. Great service and delicious food. I think atmosphere could be better and spacing/seating.

GogiGo is a great addition to Frederick, MD! Went here with my sister despite the mixed reviews, but figure we should go see and experience it personally. I had the all you can eat a+b option roughly $36 per person. I enjoyed the interior, design and layout of the place. The tables are wide enough for drinks side dishes etc. the only thing i disliked were the chairs. They are utterly uncomfortable, especially after 30mins of sitting. The food were good! Gogi steak, beef brisket, and spicy squid were delicious. I did not like that the marinated steak and pork belly had so much fat on them. But also there are variety of other choices of protein. They do offer basket of lettuce and other veggie side dishes which is good with meats. Be sure to ask for the SESAME OIL, sprinkle some salt and pepper and it taste amazing with your beef. The service was exceptional. Servers were very accomidating and helpful. The guy who brought us the meats was great, did not let us wait too long inbetween ordering. There was also an elder ajumma who were very thoughtful and nice! Lowkey taught us to wrap the beefs in lettuce with the garlic + spiced paste they give you. I thought that was the most humbling thing! The grill was good, but the oil from fatty meat were dripping down on the open flame not sure if thats safe. Maybe it is just how it is. Overall, good food, good service, great hood above the grill (keeping smoke/smell minimal).

I've eaten at this Black Hog location (and their ones in downtown Frederick and Urbana) many times. All produce reasonable 'que - not award winning, but consistent and decent quality. Today's choice was a brisket sandwich. The meat was nicely cooked, and the bark looked nice, but it was underseasoned. As a result, it had no punch on the first bite or any that followed. I generally don't like to put sauce on brisket. The bark and the meat should speak for themselves, but in this case, I decided to try the three sauces that came with it: vinegar (Really? For brisket?), a sweet Memphis style, and a thicker Kansas City style. The latter two were too sweet for brisket, and the former was, well, an abomination. IMHO. The sandwich came with one side. I got potato salad, which also needed some pickle pieces, onions, paprika, cayenne - anything that added punch. Not the worst I've had in town, but not the best. (Yeah, yeah, I know it's subjective, but I'll stack my potato salad against anyone's. My Aunt Helen taught me well). Oh, I'll be back, don't you worry. Black Hog serves a consistent, decent product that is the best available in Frederick It's just not close to what I can eat from any of the countless hole-in-the-wall joints pretty much anywhere in Texas. I was generous and rounded my review up to 4 stars but a 3.5 star review is more accurate of this restaurant. The restaurant is clean and bright, has plenty of seating, rooftop outdoor space, and a private parking lot. The staff were friendly and attentive and were happy to give recommendations on what to order. I ordered the two meat platter picking brisket and Arkansas brisket (burnt ends). Food came out fast and was fresh. All the meat was wonderfully cooked (having lived in OK and TX I am particular about bbq). I would have liked a little more "bark" on the brisket but that's a personal preference. The MD baked beans were one of my sides and they were impressive. Good flavor with some spice to them but they did have ZERO smoke taste. The Mac and Cheese also had ZERO smoke taste, was not hot, and lacked the creaminess I was looking for. I would not recommend the Mac and cheese. Corn bread was dry... no surprise there. In summary - the meats are good, the sides are hit and miss. I would like to see them offer a 3 or 4 meat meal option so an individual could really sample the menu.

I would eat a pint of that mac and cheese if I could. A note, however, 1/3 of the kids found the addition of cracked pepper in the mac and cheese "too spicy." I am from Eastern NC, so I have a pretty good idea of bbq and BC staples. I decided to try the flounder rather than the bbq this time. The founder was disappointing. It was a bit on the bland side and the batter is a little confusing. I was expecting a cornmeal style batter or similar, but got something different. The fish itself had potential to be very good. The beans also left a lot to be desired, just lacked flavor and taste. The business looks like they do a lot of catering as opposed to dining (possible a lot of to go orders, too).

Presentation-wise, it definitely looked impressive too. For dessert, we were initially hoping for the hummingbird cake, but they're revamping the menu and replacing it with a chocolate lava cake. And honestly? No complaints. The lava cake was super rich and absolutely delicious -- so rich I had to order a glass of milk, which I was happy they had available. My friend had the mud pie sundae and crushed it. I had a bite and it was just as good as it looked -- decadent and flavorful. Our server, Dan, was attentive and accommodating from the moment we walked in. We initially sat at a higher table with lower chairs, and since I'm pretty petite, he offered to move us to a better seating option at the bar with higher chairs that matched the tables.
