Philadelphia roll - A black tray holds several sushi rolls filled with avocado, salmon, and cucumber, wrapped in rice and seaweed. Accompanying the sushi are dollops of wasabi, slices of pickled ginger, and a small container of soy sauce. A can of Diet Coke and a snack bag are placed on a wooden table, with part of a food container visible on the right. The setting appears to be a casual dining area or home meal.

Checked this place out due to the high reviews and they didn't disappoint! Everything was full of flavor with no extra sauces needed. The bentos are very filling, we left with extras. It appears to be the downstairs of someone's house with 5 tables in the main room. A little tight but that's what makes it cozy. The owner (I presume) was very sweet, put soft Christmas music for us to listen to while we ate and was very attentive. You could tell she truly cared that her customers left with a great experience, which we certainly did. I had the tuna roll bento box and Philadelphia roll. My fam had the chicken teriyaki bento, bulgogi bento, vegetable dumplings and shrimp bento. I would return to Frederick just to eat here again.

Salmon Bento Box - A compartmentalized bento box features grilled chicken drizzled with sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds, accompanied by a side salad with lettuce and shredded vegetables, a small container of dipping sauce, kimchi, pickled vegetables, and slices of fruit. The meal is arranged in separate sections within a black plastic container, typical of Japanese and Korean cuisine offerings.

If you love Sushi, poke bowls, bento boxes, and great service this is the place for you! This restaurant is across from the Frederick Health Hospital and is a hidden gem. It's a very cozy and welcoming spot. The place is extremely welcoming and the portion sizes are enormous! Not to mention, everything I have had so far has been pretty amazing! I've had the salmon k-pop bowl that is full of fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious. The Bento boxes come in many different configurations which I believe I've almost tried them all lol. My favorite is the spicy rice cake tteokbokki and the scallion pancake! I bring everyone I can to this place and you should go as well! 10/10 recommend!

Salmon + tuna bowl - A sashimi salad with slices of raw fish, including salmon and tuna, topped with shredded nori seaweed. The dish includes shredded cabbage, cucumber, radish, and a slice of jalapeño pepper. The salad is served on a white plate with a floral pattern, and the ingredients are arranged with a variety of textures and colors.

I think it's family owned. And omg the food was so delicious and fresh. You can taste the ingredients and I loved it. Will definitely go again

A sushi roll with a topping of orange sauce is placed inside a clear plastic container on a wooden surface. The container also holds a small mound of wasabi and slices of pickled ginger, with decorative green leaves. The sushi roll appears to contain seafood and rice, and the presentation suggests it is ready for takeaway or delivery.

Stopped by this place for a quick meal and the owners were super friendly and the food is visibly made with care! Give this place a chance if you're in the area, you won't regret it.

Current Menu - A digital menu board from K-Town Takeout offers a selection of Japanese and Korean cuisine, including sushi rolls, bento boxes, and K-Bop bowls. The menu lists various appetizers, special roll combos, sushi combos, house rolls, spicy rolls, and Korean-style bowls with prices. The board also provides details about the ingredients and portion sizes for each item, with a focus on sushi, seafood, and Korean dishes. The layout is organized with sections for easy navigation, and the background features a colorful design.

What a discovery! Our mom was in the hospital here in Frederick and we ventured across the street to get some dinner to bring back. We both had the salmon roll bento box with a side of seaweed salad. A tasty fusion of Japanese and Korean dishes elegantly packed in our bento boxes - a great variety and more food than we could finish on the first attempt. The service was friendly and efficient - we had ordered ours to go and it was ready in a few minutes. The inside has a warm vibe and is nicely decorated - would be a pleasant place to dine. We would recommend this spot whether you happen to be over at the hospital or just in the vicinity. You will not be disappointed!

We went here for the first time and it was amazing! We both got bento boxes and when I picked up the order, they gave us a spicy rice cake to try on the house! It was all so tasty and the portions were perfect! We will definitely be back!

    Drinks to go!

The service is always excellent, this is easily some of the best sushi in Frederick, and they have a couple unique whiskeys for those who enjoy it. Today we tried Lazy Fish because it was recommended by David's colleague. We got the Pork Belly appetizer, Lazy Rainbow, Lazy Shack, and the Lazy Spaghetti which was on the Specials menu when we went. Pork Belly: Although the pork itself was fatty and tender, and a bigger piece than we expected, although waaaaay too much cabbage and a little too sweet from the pineapple for my taste. Lazy Shack and Lazy Rainbow: LOVED these rolls! We were actually impressed by how fresh the fish was?? And the amount and texture of the rice was on point. Multiple tables next to us got the Lazy Rainbow so it seems like a popular one to get. We also appreciated the real crab that they used (although I may have gotten the smallest piece of shell in my Lazy Shack, but it was so good I didn't even care). Lazy Spaghetti: Basically like a massamun beef curry and spaghetti fusion. On the tad spicy side for me. Was really creamy and the sauce to spaghetti ratio was a little heavy (on the sauce side) that I wish there was more spaghetti to soak it up. Definitely would stick to the sushi here (although I'm a sucker for a sushi + hot dish combo). Would consider coming back to try some of their nigiris next time!

Since we were in the company of a bunch of preteens, ice tea and mango bubble thingies were enjoyed by all. (For the future: they have a full bar, with everything from beers to fruity drinks to shots. I didn't see sake on the menu, but I'm not a fan so didn't look really hard). Apps were good, with serving sizes plentiful. We ordered fried calamari (served in stick form, not rings; weird but tasty), really nice tempura, and Ying Yang shrimp (the spicy may sauce was OK, but the wasabi sauce was killer!). For mains we focused on: sushi. Lots and lots of sushi. The rolled sushi menu is very long; the sushi (actually nigiri) and sashimi menu not so much. Nothing on the menu described how big the portions were so the 'dults each ordered a several different selections, both rolls and sushi. This kiddies ordered ramen, and Spousal Unit got Drunken Noodles with Chicken along with a sushi roll. Turns out the rolls were HUGE so we overordered dramatically (pro tip: ask in the future). Everything was fresh and tasty. My only quibble was that the Spider Roll appeared to be fried surimi (artificial crab) not soft shell crab. How could I tell? No legs, baby! We rolled out stuffed, with a doggie bag full of sushi for Daddy Dearest's second dinner. The price was very reasonable, and the quality far better than Lantern Sushi (but not as good as Sushi Nomo or Lazy Fish). Middle-Oldest Grand Daughter's birthday dinner was a success - and I'm already looking forward to next year's!
