    Lunch date after finals!!!
    Cecilia C.

Today, my son and I decided to eat at Panda Sushi for our monthly lunch date. We were greeted and seated right away - maybe because it was after the lunch crowd left. Plenty of room and table were clean. Our server came and took our orders quickly. She is very friendly. We didn't wait very long to start getting our appetizer and they were piping hot. We started with tea, miso soup, shrimp shumai, and crab rangoon. All were tasty but my favorite was the shrimp shumai. Order at least three times. Then we ordered the following sushi rolls: salmon, yellow fin, volcano, dragon, and shrimp tempura. It was very good. My son finished with strawberry ice cream. I couldn't eat dessert because I was so full. All these for under $40. You can't beat that! If you want quick service, tasty food, and good value - check them out!

The place is huge. Lots of tables, and open. The price you can't beat, the menu is good and big. Plates are small but rolls come by 8. We ordered a lot but most of the rolls were not thick slices of actual fish. A lot of the mushy spicy tuna, ect. Soup came out within seconds, just wish it had more tofu in it, just all broth. Overall it was good, would probably come back just based off the price. The yum yum sauce was darker than normal and had like a honey mustard flavor to it. The steak was good, not rare like I asked but juicy.

I'm so happy that Frederick has a wonderful all you can eat sushi please right in the Golden Mile. It's all you can eat that includes appetizers, salads, sushi, hibachi and time and noodle dishes. You can get dessert too. It's included. Drinks are not included, but they are only 2.50 each and no alcohol. It's clean and not a buffet. They actually bring you whatever you order. It's fresh and it's great. It's not romantic. It is more like a diner experience, but with Asian food. 15.99 lunch M-F or 23.99 all other times and dinner. We went on a Sunday and didn't wait to get on, but it was very full and we were lucky to get the last space in the parking lot. It looks like they can accommodate a party of 8 easily fyi.

Husband and I went on a Friday night, we were seated immediately. Everyone was friendly and service was quick. Nice open area, clean bathrooms and food came quickly. All the fried food was nice and hot and the rolls were quite delicious. Will definitely be back as you cannot beat the price for everything you get. Loved the steak hibachi too, I was surprised at the portion.

Fresh Crabmeat Roll and Cucumber Roll, as well as a Shrimp Sushi. Yum!

I finally got to try this restaurant and I was not disappointed. Everything was so fresh and made to order. They have a pretty extensive menu so there should be something for everybody. The only thing I didn't particularly care for is that they bring you the food and, if they get busy, it can take some time for the wait staff to make it back to your table to take your order. Overall, though, we left stuffed and satisfied. I'll definitely be back again.

This was our first time going. It was great, we had a great server. She made sure our food came out correctly and made us feel comfortable. She was constantly checking on us.

Exactly what to expect for an all you can eat sushi restaurant. We went on the weekend and should have known better. Saturday & Sunday dinner is served all day, however it is not advertised as dinner price, when we got the bill we were a little confused. We ordered many rolls of sushi, heavy on the rice and mediocre fish quality. We also ordered the steak hibachi, which had minimal flavoring and a lot of oil. Plates and silver had water stains on them and what looked to be small pieces of food left over. We went early for lunch, they open at 12pm we were there at 12:15pm, it wasn't too crowded but starting to fill up when we left around 1:30pm. Not a bad choice for wanting to eat a lot of food for a lower price, but don't expect the best quality of food.

Ok service. The attitude and professionalism of the workers here are always so very rude and arrogant.

Service was great but the quality of the food wasn't. It would be better if they charged more and make the quality of the food better.

Today we tried Lazy Fish because it was recommended by David's colleague. We got the Pork Belly appetizer, Lazy Rainbow, Lazy Shack, and the Lazy Spaghetti which was on the Specials menu when we went. Pork Belly: Although the pork itself was fatty and tender, and a bigger piece than we expected, although waaaaay too much cabbage and a little too sweet from the pineapple for my taste. Lazy Shack and Lazy Rainbow: LOVED these rolls! We were actually impressed by how fresh the fish was?? And the amount and texture of the rice was on point. Multiple tables next to us got the Lazy Rainbow so it seems like a popular one to get. We also appreciated the real crab that they used (although I may have gotten the smallest piece of shell in my Lazy Shack, but it was so good I didn't even care). Lazy Spaghetti: Basically like a massamun beef curry and spaghetti fusion. On the tad spicy side for me. Was really creamy and the sauce to spaghetti ratio was a little heavy (on the sauce side) that I wish there was more spaghetti to soak it up. Definitely would stick to the sushi here (although I'm a sucker for a sushi + hot dish combo). Would consider coming back to try some of their nigiris next time!

Since we were in the company of a bunch of preteens, ice tea and mango bubble thingies were enjoyed by all. (For the future: they have a full bar, with everything from beers to fruity drinks to shots. I didn't see sake on the menu, but I'm not a fan so didn't look really hard). Apps were good, with serving sizes plentiful. We ordered fried calamari (served in stick form, not rings; weird but tasty), really nice tempura, and Ying Yang shrimp (the spicy may sauce was OK, but the wasabi sauce was killer!). For mains we focused on: sushi. Lots and lots of sushi. The rolled sushi menu is very long; the sushi (actually nigiri) and sashimi menu not so much. Nothing on the menu described how big the portions were so the 'dults each ordered a several different selections, both rolls and sushi. This kiddies ordered ramen, and Spousal Unit got Drunken Noodles with Chicken along with a sushi roll. Turns out the rolls were HUGE so we overordered dramatically (pro tip: ask in the future). Everything was fresh and tasty. My only quibble was that the Spider Roll appeared to be fried surimi (artificial crab) not soft shell crab. How could I tell? No legs, baby! We rolled out stuffed, with a doggie bag full of sushi for Daddy Dearest's second dinner. The price was very reasonable, and the quality far better than Lantern Sushi (but not as good as Sushi Nomo or Lazy Fish). Middle-Oldest Grand Daughter's birthday dinner was a success - and I'm already looking forward to next year's!
