    Rice was a big glob
    Niky P.

Love the store and food court. Suggest the employees who prep the bento boxes learn to make a decent pot of rice because it was very apparent it was not rinsed. It's a big portion of the bento so doesn't feel like a great value if the rice is inedible.

Awesome store to find literally anything. Everything is easy to find. The fruits and vegetables are very fresh and prices are very reasonable. Much less than normal grocery stores.

Great selection and stock of produce but some of it is not the best value such as green chilies by weight or onions. I purchased two young Thai coconuts at $2.50 each that are $5 each at Sprouts or Safeway. H*Mart has a small assortment of Indian spices, snacks, and foods but you're better off at an Indian grocery store.

This Hmart provides a good number of solid food choices. We walked through a number of options before settling on the Jjolmyun and the Mapo tofu options. Both were excellent but I'd say the jjolmyun wasn't that outstanding. Mapo tofu was a 4/5, a solid choice that would be in the middle of the pack for take out Chinese food. All in all, I'd try out the food if you're in the area but nothing that spectacular to pay a visit.

H Mary has become one of my favorite food halls in the area so far!! First of all, it's a grocery store that has a food court! The best of both worlds. I tried hot stone bibimbab for the very first time and have to say that I was extremely impressed by all the flavors! Look at the video I posted and listen to that wonderful sizzle! The are multiple restaurants to order from. You order from one central location and listen for your number, you then go to the restaurant you chose your food from to pick it up! I highly recommend this place for the many different types of foods!

We drove up from Montco to check H Mart out. We have several International type markets near where I live, so I wanted to compare. I have to say, I much prefer my Montgomery County options. There was nothing wrong with the H Mart. It has all the things you'd expect from an international market and it had a nice selection of produce and a large take out food area. But compared to my options nearby, it just didn't stand out and it wasn't as large as some of my other choices. If you're up in Frederick and want ingredients from an international market, then definitely check it out, but if you live in Montgomery, it's not worth the trip..

I don't live too close but when i'm in the area this is my go to for food. Unassuming since it's in a grocery store, but its quite the gem. Their food court features a wide variety of asian foods, and the pricing is very fair as well. There is a lot of spacious seating so when you're in a big group and can't decide on food, this is the place. You order all the food in one place and pick it up in separate stalls. They have your order number on screens so it's quite easy. I always order the jja jjangmyun, so good. There was an absolute $ht ton of onions in it, which i love so that was great. The fried shrimp combo was delicious as well - you can't go wrong. There's also a bakery inside, which i have yet to try. So anyways, this is a bomb place for food... and get your groceries done!

On a roadtrip back to Baltimore from Pittsburgh, we wanted to get a bite to eat for dinner and do some grocery shopping for the week. When I realized Frederick had an H Mart, it was a eureka moment. We ate in the food court (a sushi roll, gyudon (Japanese beef bowl), and shumai), and then did our grocery shopping. I couldn't love H Mart more - great food court, amazing produce, amazing selection of meat, fish, everything...! I wish there was one closer to us in Baltimore. It's just absolutely my favorite place to grocery shop. Has everything you need and then some! You can go for 2 things and leave with 100. It's just amazing. And this location is great. The food court food quality was great. And the store was well stocked - just like you'd expect from any H Mart. H Mart is amazing, and this H Mart is amazing. Nothing else to say!

H Mart is a staple for our family when we want to shop for Asian groceries. They have a large selection of fresh produce, meats, and seafood. There's even a Korean style bakery with lots of yummy treats and cakes, a variety of bubble teas and smoothies. And then there is a food court with a selection of Asian food, which includes Korean style BBQ short ribs, Japanese ramen and sushi, Vietnamese pho, and Chinese food. Today, I tried sushi from Lee's Sushi and it was definitely fresh and very affordable. Love the variety of the food court here when I want a quick but comforting meal. One tip, when visiting the food court. It may look like you order at one shop, but you actually order at one place under the delimanjoo and pick up your food order at the kiosk that calls your number.

I always have a wonderful time shopping at H-Mart; you can find any and everything from vegetables, hard-to-find items and cookware. I could easily spend an hour in the store just looking around. I recently tried the food court and, like the store, I was not disappointed. There are several food stalls featuring dishes from several Asian cuisines. I decided on a dish and placed my order. NOTE: You place your order at one, centralized location and then pick up you food at the individual stalls. I waited in the dining area and picked up my order when my number was called. I decided on katsudon and it was perfect. I highly recommend visiting H-Mart if you have the opportunity. I will definitely stop by again in the near future!

We love a good HMart. This particular location has easy parking. The store is clean, well-maintained and well-stocked. The produce selection is great! Everything is fresh and there are so many options for vegetables. I go to HMart for the meat and seafood selection. There is so much to choose from and you cannot beat the prices in comparison to other grocery stores. We also get our sticky rice from here.

We drove all the way to Frederick (MD) to H-Mart to buy food for a big party we were having, and we bought a box of Nappa Cabbage and Korea Radish. The Korea Radish ($19.99) was ALL rotten. See the attached pictures. Our Receipt Info is as follows: Cashier Dania; Store Location 1063 W Patrick St Frederick MD; Date/Time 7 September @ 8:24pm; HMart Member Card 40301116543; Total Spent $770.42; Receipt Line 09/07/22 08:24pm 61 1 146 125; Receipt BarCode Nr 00006100101462209072024. It would cost us more in gas to drive back to Frederick than to ask for refund, but just wanted H-Mart to be aware that we are not pleased with being sold produce that was rotten. All of the radish was extremely "dry" on the interior.

Ask the Community - H Mart - Frederick

Does H Mart sell any Thai foods?

You'll find the standard curry paste and a few sauces, along with dried rice noodles and a few other things scattered through the store. If you need a specific item you will want to go to Hung Phat in Wheaton.

Do they have durian by chance?

Yes they do! They are in a cooler type thing at the very bottom of the produce aisles.

So the common market has always been a huge staple for me and I really appreciate the variety of vegan and gluten free options they have every time I visit home. I've never really gone to the location in 7th street, but I decided yesterday morning to grab a bite to eat and order a drink. I never really anticipated a bad experience, and it wasn't all that terrible, however, the clerk completely forgot to make my breakfast wrap and there was a lady that ordered 10 mins after me that got her food before me. I was already half way through my drink and I was shocked. The clerk even looked at me and said "oh sorry I forgot about your wrap it's coming out soon". To top it all off I ended up getting sick when I ate half of it, and I feel like the only reason the wrap made me sick to my stomach was because the young man was rushing to get my order out. Not a very good first time experience at this location, and it's sad to say this will be my last time here because the last thing I need is food poisoning. Other than that, the cashiers were helpful and friendly and the store was nice and clean.

Not very Common for a market!!…read more Everything here is exceptional. I love all the fruit, I literally just ate a peach and was so compelled to write about it. The staff, while is mostly comprised of college age hippies are knowledgeable and actually care. The whole store is very clean and the meat counter while very small screams old school home made!! The sausages looked so good I had to buy some, and after cooking them up with some onions and peppers my neighbors above me who are vegans were peeking as they chewed their grass and had to rethink their decisions on eating food that my food eats. There are fresh made sandwiches that they will press for you and give it that grilled awesomeness that only comes when your doing something special with meat and cheese and good bread pressed with 400 degrees of steel resulting in a sandwich that makes you want to light a subway franchise on fire. Now on my most recent trip, covid is rampantly knocking off people so a lot of the fun stuff has been put away. Normally they have fresh cooked food that you can box up hot and take and eat. The selection ranges from American favorites like loaf of meat and spaghetti to Indian food to soups and salads ( spinach salad is good, the dressing makes it the bomb dot com ) and fresh cookies and breads oh my. ( Public Notice: no lions or tigers ) You will spend more money per item here than Walmart. They don't have as good of a selection as Wegman's. They don't have a coupon app thingy that makes you think your saving money like everyone else. But you will feel like your saving baby seals and once you leave and start to load stuff into your vehicle a rabbit will wink at you in a attempt to say thank you. The lesson here is pay more money for food that tastes like food and not canned crap. Yes, we all like to save money, and that's noble. But there is a time to eat your extra long chili cheese coney ( much love sonic ) and there is a time to bite into a peach and feel like your a little kid again and have wonderful sweet juice roll off your chin and life is once again, is worth living. Stay hungry my friends, - JW

I might be able to convince myself it never happened with ONE stray hair (NOT saying it's ok) but a WAD of hair?!?! This should be a federal crime. I feel so violated. So, what's the verdict here? You've got some sick-o who puts hair in the food because they hate mankind, or you've got some jerk-o who won't wear a hairnet because they've got ZERO respect for anyone & hates their job with a passion.
