Chorizo and regular sausage patties were plenty plump. Pancakes were yuuuuge!
Gabriel G.

Took my family for Valentine's Day after having it recommended by a great friend. We were not disappointed. Seated fast (8:45am) and Enrique came by quickly and got our drinks. The food was great and quick. The portions, massive. My 21 year old got a double stack of pancakes and he couldn't finish. Even the kids portions are huge. My wife enjoyed her latte and her chorizo omelette. My banana Nutella pancakes were too much for me to finish as well. My wife asked when can we go again. And she's a picky eater. Food. Awesome. Service. Awesome.

Still a rock solid favorite! Stopped in on a late Saturday morning and promptly got stable. Service was friendly and good! Such a friendly atmosphere throughout. Hubs got the breakfast burrito...says it was delish! I got the Clubber, as did my friend. Such fresh ingredients and it was huge! Keep up the great work T&R!

chicken & waffles

Not a big fan of American brunch but this place has changed my impression. Typical American family style food and nice service. I ordered chicken & waffles and it was delicious - chicken was not too salty and waffles were not too sweet. Very good!

Four piece Fried Chicken Dinner

Terrific food in a modern diner atmosphere. The fried chicken was the star of our meal! The four pieces of chicken were perfectly cooked with moist meat and well seasoned crispy exteriors. Really fabulous! If you get the dinner it comes with two sides - we selected the green beans and the Mac and cheese. The green beans were prepared in the southern way with ham and were soft and flavorful. The Mac and cheese was as hoped for - creamy and cheesy. My husband ordered the Rachel sandwich with fries. The Rachel is a turkey version of a Rueben. It's a hearty sandwich with plenty of turkey, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese. The fries were seasoned well and had a crusty exterior that made them stand out from regular fries. Everything came out piping hot! The dessert list was long -and all of it made onsite. We chose the peach crisp and it was enough for three to four people. The topping was oaty and buttery with lots of cinnamon, and the peaches were plentiful - really wonderful! The service was attentive and friendly. And we liked the modern diner aesthetic. All in all, we had a lovely meal and will definitely return.

Chorizo burrito

We walked in and it was packed on a Sunday around d 1130am. We waited outside due to the small or no waiting area. Servers will seat you when space is available. We waited approx 10 mins for our table -no biggie. We were a family of 5, ordered our breakfast, and food came out fresh! The portions are generous (except French toast was average portion). Everything was delicious , we recommend the CHICKEN AND WAFFLES!!! Lastly, an older gentleman we didn't catch his name walked around to each table and asked to ensure if our meals were good and if we needed anything, we thought it was a thoughtful gesture and showed they cared. Great place!

Fried chicken tenders, French fries, and fried okra.

Are you open on thanksgiving?

Hi Jean, we are closed on Thanksgiving Day. The other two days we are scheduled to close is Easter and Christmas Day. Thanks for your question.

Do you serve turkey and dressing every day you're open?

But luckily for us, a tiny table fit only for two was available. It was all the way in the back! But that was totally fine. We liked our little corner. The place was definitely packed but our server never forgot about us. Back in our little corner were memorabilia from the local schools dating back to the 90's from what I can tell. It really had a nostalgic feel. To start we got the crabby rolls from the specials menu. It was more creamy than crabby. I tasted more of the cream cheese than any crab. For entrees we ordered the fish and chips and main street Madeira. The fish came in small filets that were the size of chicken tenders. Not a huge fan of the portion. The fries were soggy but glad that the coleslaw came in a lettuce pocket. At least that prevented the coleslaw liquid from seeping onto the fish and fries. The chicken madeira was fantastic. I almost never order chicken breasts fearing that it would be dry but this was not. The two breast meat was cooked in a madeira wine sauce topped with mushrooms and a mozzarella, fontina, and spinach cheese blend. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I can taste the lovely wine. Served along the dish was red mashed potatoes. I love red mashed potatoes because it has a bit of the skin. I liked this dish a lot! Service was attentive, friendly, and fast. This place is a neighborhood gem. Not sure about parking. There was some street parking and there may be a lot next to the restaurant but from the direction that we came, we ended up parking across the street. A tricky crossing because the crosswalk was up the block.

This was our first time here, as on prior occasions we found the line too daunting. We were surprised when another 4:15pm patron was led to their reserved table, but we learned that their planning and caution was well-founded. We discovered the popularity of Bolder to be well-deserved. Seeking lite fare for an early dinner, calorie conscious, we both navigated the tempation-filled menu with success. We thoroughly enjoyed the bison burger and turkey club, the latter being sufficiently sample for a split lunch the next day too. Service was rock-solid and very efficient. We definitely hope to be back soon. And we will make a reservation. Dress code is casual.

It's a little bit off 70, but not bad. First off, this restaurant has an incredibly oversized parking lot. Maybe the restaurant has areas I didn't see, but I was a little bemused. Inside, it's decorated a bit like an old lady house with country accents. It's welcoming and nice, if a little old. I was seated and served quickly. My waitress was great. I ordered French onion soup and a bison burger with sweet potato fries. The French onion soup came out first. It had a huge layer of cheese on top, but it tasted like white cheddar. The soup itself was good at first but started getting bitter. I discovered a huge bay leaf in it. That explains that. Guys, leaving a bay leaf hidden in French onion soup is a violation of Article 35(2) of the Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions. My sweet potato fries were seasoned with a chipotle cinnamon blend. It was weirdly sweet and clashed with the burger. I didn't care for it and honestly feel like if you're going to season with something weird, you should be abundantly clear. The burger was a disappointment. It was fairly basic. It was cooked right, but every so often I would get a burst of salt. I suspect the meat was salted and not well mixed. My burger, fries, and side of soup came to over $40. I am honestly being more critical of them because of that. At that price point, I expect REALLY good, not salt pockets, a left-in bay leaf, and weird seasonings.

I drink unsweetened tea most of the time so I'm constantly waiting for a refill. The good ... the food is generally tasty. The Bad ... they are charging $32.00 for a 16oz ribeye. I know they use Mt Airy Meat locker for their beef. The steak was seasoned well but had a tiny sliver of a bone for what they called a bone in. Also .... The nickel and dining is ridiculous. You get one side. And they upcharge for mushrooms or onions. In comparison... Longhorn service a 20oz Ribeye with 2 sides and bread for $32.79 So I got the Ribeye and about 6 stalks of very tiny asparagus. I actually like the small asparagus but not 6 stalks??? As far as the steaks go ... don't give me the local meat BS or the cost for a small business. Side cost little ... salad and potatoes are cheap. We don't go to this place regularly because of this ... so we end up with a $72.00 bill (wife got a Cesar salad with shrimp) and seltzer water with a lime. Result ... have to make something to eat after we get home. After dropping nearly $90 after tip. My wife and I prefer to patronize local places but these owners are making it hard. I was going to order the chicken wings and a side salad .... But ...$24 for 12 half wings is beyond ridiculous. The wing shortage is over but many places are hanging on to the price increase ... I'd imagine because they think the customers are stupid. Out of curiosity... I shopped a pack of fresh wings at BJs wholesale club to see what wings are going for. The price for an 18 pack is around $8.00. And that would make 36 buffalo wings since you only get half. Disappointed... food that we did get was good ... but value is somewhere close to a zero!
