I stopped by Ann's Cafe for breakfast after deciding I was too lazy to cook, and I'm glad I did! I ordered Ann's Special along with a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and filling, making for a great start to the day. My only small critique is that I wish the breakfast potatoes had been a little crispier, but they were still good. Overall, I'd give the meal an 8/10. The prices are about what you'd expect compared to the bigger breakfast chains, but I'd much rather support a local business. If you're looking for a solid, no-frills breakfast in the Gaithersburg area, Ann's Cafe is definitely worth checking out. read more

We came here for breakfast and weren't expecting much. We were satisfied with what we ordered. I'd like to go back to try their Asian-centric meals as I think that's where Ann's will really show it's true colors. What we got: Pancake plater with over medium eggs and bacon - 3* pancakes were good, over medium eggs were more on the over easy side but were delicious, the bacon was too crispy (preference issue). French toast platter with scrambled eggs and turkey sausage - 3.5* I thought the French toast was better than the pancakes, the scrambled eggs came out for like scrambled eggs turned into an omelette so I had to cut it apart but it was good, the turkey sausage was your average patty. read more

Wednesday 9/11/2024 I was pretty interested in this spot after my previous experiences with restaurants like blt grill & tasty nook cafe (places that make home cooked type of meals). I made a takeout order through their website and got the steak & cheese with seasoned fries $10.95, 3 slice French toast $5.95, bacon egg & cheese croissant sandwich $4.95, and western omelette $9.95. First issue, I ordered toppings for my steak n cheese but all I got was a basic and below average steak n cheese. Second issue, I expected the croissant sandwich to be bigger it was half the size of what i usually get. Third and final issue, the food is not good at all as it ranges from flat out bad to average at BEST. Definitely wouldn't come back or recommend at all. read more

It's a really small shop in front of a car repair shop. I had to fix my car and wanted to grab a coffee. Then entering the shop, I found they have really nice sandwiches. I ordered a fish and fries sandwich that came with a 8 inch sub with fries. The fish was perfectly done as inside of the fish is so tender and the surface is crunchy panko. Potatoes are crunchy on surface yet soft inside as well. Korean-owned restaurants are always tasty but this is definitely a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. So I got to work a little early today and jumped on yelp to see if I could grab a quick bite and not have to go far and go from being early to late and I got exactly what I dreamt up . The food was good and came out very fast . Extremely clean dining area and the bathroom as well. The staff was very friendly quick and efficient . Went here to get a sub it was awesome. The staff, cooks and servers were all so nice. Very welcoming as soon as you walk through the door! I bought a 6" ham and cheese sub and a sweet tea. The sub was fresh and delicious filled with so much ham and American white cheese with just the right amount of mayo. The best sweet tea ever, not too sweet- made with just a hint of sugar, perfect! This place reminds me a lot of another place I use to go to back in Reisterstown, MD. It's a Korean-owned couple who serves very delicious homemade subs and sandwiches. My boyfriend and I came to grab a quick lunch while we waited for his car windows to get tinted. He told me that the majority of their business comes from other surrounding businesses, which I totally get because this shop isn't surrounded by other restaurant. I work just a few doors down and Ann's is always a great choice for a quick bite or a filling lunch or breakfast. Nikki and Justin always serve with a smile and make every customer feel special. A recently updated menu has great super affordable options for lunch like their steak and cheese or specialty burgers. I don't recommend the omelette. I ordered the western and it was watery and they used "wrapper" cheese. Cheap bread for toast and it was cold so the butter didn't melt. Potatoes were ok. No hot sauce on tables to help mask the flavor of the omelette. read more

The food is very blah. The owners are very nice but they talk too much and need to just worry about getting your order. Not every customer wants to chit chat or has the time to talk. My next point is very important. The people there never wear gloves when they make your food. Every time I've been there they have not once worn gloves which concerns me. They go back and forth to the register and then make food and you never see them wash their hands at least. Cleanliness should be their first priority over anything. I stopped buying food prepared by them and will only buy a bottle of soda or bag of chips in a pinch and that is it. I refuse to eat anything they make until they start to wear gloves and be a little more clean when making their food. read more

I stopped in here after work out of hunger and curiosity because it looks like one of those hole in the wall spots you would never think to try. Working in the airpark area this is a very convenient and popular spot. Today was my first time and I had a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel and it was great. Cooked to perfection and a good portion. That and a bottled orange juice was 6$. Extremely reasonable prices. There is a large variety of breakfast options and the breakfast sandwiches are served all day!! My mother and I stopped here Saturday at around 1:45 this past Saturday afternoon, As we haven't eaten Breakfast yet. What a great choice, my mother had the Cream Chipped Beef on toast and Home Fries and I had the special, with Ham, Sausage and Bacon, two eggs and home fries.We both had coffee as well. Everything was very good and the owner and cook was very friendly. I felt bad I walked in at 1:45 as I did not know she closed at 2:00, but she said it was ok and we did not feel rushed.
