    Veggie omelet

My sister brought me here on a Sunday for a late breakfast. We were able to grab a last table. The staff was amazing. Cute little place. She got a Greek omelet and I got a veggie omelet. We were both very happy with out selection. I Iook forward to returning and trying other items.

Before we went, i read through the reviews like always, and summarized to "food is great , but service is not up to par". We had time on hand today and decided to give it a try. & ... yes they were busy. The Place is not big. Very cozy. 2 servers, yup now you see why the the wait can be long. However, everything we ordered came out great and tasty!!! Hence the 5 star. Portions were generous, they did up the price a bit based on previous reviews, which is understandable, all $$$ is going up. Despite the busy crowd they have to take care of, all out orders came out right and they kept us in loop, we truly appreciate the effort. Will return and recommend!

Love this place! Best breakfast I've had in a long time and I try to come here as much as I can. The prices are decent and the service is great. It's pretty simply just a great place to get breakfast and everything tastes great so what else is there to say but come on down to Olde town. Try it out I'm sure you won't be disappointed

Really good breakfast, small and slow but worth it. Chicken and waffles were great perfect amount of spice.

This is a great diner and the service here is AAA. I have made two lunch visits here and each time the service was amazing. The menu has all of the selections that you would expect to find in a local diner. Definitely add this fine establishment on places you want to add on your list of comfy dining spots.

The chicken gyro was pronounced good The menu is wide, the selections were all good other than the fries. A great place to visit for an end-of-week night out! The desserts were good. So we come to this place about once every two months…read more We like sitting on the patio from spring to fall. The service is usually good ...but the serve drinks in small plastic cups. I drink unsweetened tea most of the time so I'm constantly waiting for a refill. The good ... the food is generally tasty. The Bad ... they are charging $32.00 for a 16oz ribeye. I know they use Mt Airy Meat locker for their beef. The steak was seasoned well but had a tiny sliver of a bone for what they called a bone in. Also .... The nickel and dining is ridiculous. You get one side. And they upcharge for mushrooms or onions. In comparison... Longhorn service a 20oz Ribeye with 2 sides and bread for $32.79 So I got the Ribeye and about 6 stalks of very tiny asparagus. I actually like the small asparagus but not 6 stalks??? As far as the steaks go ... don't give me the local meat BS or the cost for a small business. Side cost little ... salad and potatoes are cheap. We don't go to this place regularly because of this ... so we end up with a $72.00 bill (wife got a Cesar salad with shrimp) and seltzer water with a lime. Result ... have to make something to eat after we get home. After dropping nearly $90 after tip. My wife and I prefer to patronize local places but these owners are making it hard. I was going to order the chicken wings and a side salad .... But ...$24 for 12 half wings is beyond ridiculous. The wing shortage is over but many places are hanging on to the price increase ... I'd imagine because they think the customers are stupid. Out of curiosity... I shopped a pack of fresh wings at BJs wholesale club to see what wings are going for. The price for an 18 pack is around $8.00. And that would make 36 buffalo wings since you only get half. Disappointed... food that we did get was good ... but value is somewhere close to a zero!

This was our first time here, as on prior occasions we found the line too daunting. We were surprised when another 4:15pm patron was led to their reserved table, but we learned that their planning and caution was well-founded. We discovered the popularity of Bolder to be well-deserved. Seeking lite fare for an early dinner, calorie conscious, we both navigated the tempation-filled menu with success. We thoroughly enjoyed the bison burger and turkey club, the latter being sufficiently sample for a split lunch the next day too. Service was rock-solid and very efficient. We definitely hope to be back soon. And we will make a reservation. Dress code is casual.

It's a little bit off 70, but not bad. First off, this restaurant has an incredibly oversized parking lot. Maybe the restaurant has areas I didn't see, but I was a little bemused. Inside, it's decorated a bit like an old lady house with country accents. It's welcoming and nice, if a little old. I was seated and served quickly. My waitress was great. I ordered French onion soup and a bison burger with sweet potato fries. The French onion soup came out first. It had a huge layer of cheese on top, but it tasted like white cheddar. The soup itself was good at first but started getting bitter. I discovered a huge bay leaf in it. That explains that. Guys, leaving a bay leaf hidden in French onion soup is a violation of Article 35(2) of the Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions. My sweet potato fries were seasoned with a chipotle cinnamon blend. It was weirdly sweet and clashed with the burger. I didn't care for it and honestly feel like if you're going to season with something weird, you should be abundantly clear. The burger was a disappointment. It was fairly basic. It was cooked right, but every so often I would get a burst of salt. I suspect the meat was salted and not well mixed. My burger, fries, and side of soup came to over $40. I am honestly being more critical of them because of that. At that price point, I expect REALLY good, not salt pockets, a left-in bay leaf, and weird seasonings.

We ordered hibachi and sushi rolls. Our meals came with soup, salad, fried rice, noodles, sautéed vegetables, and dessert (delicious vanilla ice cream). All the hot foods were cooked on the grill right in front of us, with the theatrics you'd expect from a Japanese Hibachi restaurant. Our chef was quite skilled with both the tricks and the cooking. All of the food was delicious, especially the filet mignon steak hibachi and the sushi rolls (a "Fire Crunch" roll with spicy tuna, cucumber, salmon, and spicy crab, and a spicy salmon roll). The wait staff checked on us frequently and someone even came running out of the restaurant after us to thank us for coming. Our part of the bill was around $50 (for one hibachi and two sushi rolls) AND we had leftovers. I expect we will be returning.

The couple preparing the sushi made us feel genuinely welcome when we walked in. There wasn't a lot of conversation, but their warmth and kindness spoke volumes. The highlight of the evening came after we had already left as she actually chased us into the parking lot just to say goodbye! That simple gesture made us feel less like customers and more like family. It's the kind of hospitality that's becoming rare and deserves to be recognized. The food was enjoyable too. My husband loved his generous serving of chicken yakisoba with fried rice. My sushi selections were beautifully presented. I'll let the photos speak for the food as what truly earned this restaurant five stars, was the heartfelt hospitality. In an area with plenty of dining options, it's the genuine kindness and welcoming spirit of the owners that will bring us back. Thank you for making us feel so at home!

It's a sit-down grill seating around 25 in the back of the store at a gas station, making some good bbq and sandwiches and more! This day (Sep 2025) we were on the way towards Baltimore after a day in Mt. Airy, and we just wanted a relaxing inexpensive meal without any fuss. There's enough parking out front, though it can be a little tight. You just walk into the storefront and head to the back to order. Folks are always friendly. You serve your own beverages while you wait. The food comes out hot and in generous servings. We had a $10 "pit beef" and chose it with gravy on a soft bun, which made it a kind of bbq sandwich, richly flavored hearty thick gravy over a generous serving of thick beef slices. It was mostly melt-in-your mouth tender. A few pieces could have been trimmed better, but the favor could not gave been more delightfully savory. We had an entirely tender $10 rueben on toast, perfect flavoring, perfectly thin-sliced. We had a really over-stuffed $10 BLT with perfectly crisped thin bacon. And we had a fresh bright $10 chicken salad on toast with lettuce and sliced tomato. For $3 more each, we had zig-zag fries accompanying a couple of these, and they gave us an additional side. They were so generous we never ran out! Piping hot and lightly crispy. Of course sodas and teas, too. It was a perfect quiet little oasis with freshly made tasty generous inexpensive food and friendly staff.
