Had heard lots of good things about Tommy's since they opened. It's one of those quaint places that just invites by its contemporary appeal. It has a large shade deck that is expected in California. Its a clean newly renovated structure. I was fortunate to run into a local couple that we're celebrating the gentleman's birthday. We chatted and they invited me to photograph their plates. Laurie Hidy aka Mrs. Pickles one of the local bakers was so impressed with all the offerings. She herself raved about the Marinated oranges they had for dessert. Allen her husband loved his beef stroganoff. My curry was perfect. It was a fine sauce not too heavy and not overwhelming. It was like a tasty wine. The chicken was very tender. I was truly impressed with the fried banana on the side. Portion size was perfect. I appreciate the music was not too loud and appropriate for the space and setting. Kristin my server was very professional and attentive. Chef Stevie stepped out and greeted some customers and checked on their satisfaction. It seems everyone was very pleased. Tommy's Sunday brunch is decent. The sausages, biscuits, eggs with cheese and veggies, both potatoes, and french toast were good. The regular eggs were a little cold, and the pancakes and waffles were a little stale. The diversity of the homemade desserts were impressive. My husband and I decided to try the Sunday brunch and I'm so glad we did! It is a buffet and every bite of food was fantastic. I could tell by just looking at the buffet trays the food was top notch chef prepared. Also the food was prepared in small servings which meant you could try everything! Truly every bite was delicious but the biscuits and gravy and every dessert were to die for. Don't skip the marinaded oranges, they were delicious and refreshing We have been here for brunch 3 times now and it is for sure something we look forward to. We've been here for (weekday) breakfast, lunch, and Sunday brunch. It's never been a disappointment. Tommy's is a wonderfully new style of restaurant here on "The Hill." If the weather is nice you should try to sit on the deck but the inside is also very bright, clean, and contemporary. Breakfast....Swiss Birchermüessli....a nice option for those of us who can't have all the sodium and fat in a typical bacon and eggs breakfast. Lunch....the chicken curry is amazing! A great change from the usual tacos, sandwich or burgers options up here. My friend and I have gone here a couple times for lunch and have not been disappointed. I do find myself drawn back to the curry tho. Sunday brunch....it's my new favorite! (See menu.). It's a very relaxed place with a diverse menu. My husband gets his favorite sausages and I love the other healthier-for-me options. The Salad Bar....always fresh with some unusual choices such as sliced mozzarella cheese and tomatoes in olive oil. Dessert....short dessert menu of only two items, tiramisu and "Swiss griesschopfli" (a flan and berry dish.) Both were delicious but I liked the flan better....might order two next time! Review is for the food only. Tommy's Kitchen is absolutely clutch. I was nearby for film project for the week and production had Tommy's cater for our lunches and dinners. He not only provided delicious and filling meals that were so beyond welcome on our long shoot days/nights, but he was able to successfully fulfill all cast and crews dietary restrictions including vegetarian, keto and vegan! Everybody was so happy and it without a doubt contributed the essential energy and morale to complete an incredible shoot. Then a two-egg breakfast with bacon, sausage, rosti (Swiss hashbrowns), some sourdough toast, and a side of homemade salsa. Over-easy eggs were perfectly cooked. Applewood bacon--tasty. But that sausage...incredible! Not your typical hash house-style links. Fat, juicy and perfectly seasoned. Solid, thought not exceptional, service. Off to a promising start with their delicious European breakfast. Then we went back for lunch and had very fresh barley vegetable soup. During lunch they promoted their 4th of July brunch, so we gathered friends after the parade. The servings were sparse (the bratwurst came with nothing but the lonely pallid sausage on the plate) and the caramelized onions were nonexistent, instead slightly sautéed translucent onions. It was disappointing as we had touted it to our friends. A nice setting but the bench seats are uncomfortable. We brought our big Doberman to brunch on a Sunday, which was a breakfast buffet only option. Our dog was cheerfully accommodated on the patio and offered her own little doggie dish of water. The buffet menu looked a bit underwhelming to two vegetarians but the patio was so beautiful that we decided to take a chance. The buffet was actually A++. Lots to offer us non-meat eaters! The fruit salad was perfect. Beautiful pastries were as good as they looked and I loved the cheesy biscuits, potatoes, and eggs. We were in heaven. The $3 mimosas didn't hurt. I had been reading a lot about this place and how delicious the food was, well the reviews are correct... delicious! I had the Tommy burger, made with angus beef, topped with Swiss cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms, also came with waffle fries. The atmosphere is quaint and rustic, exactly what you would expect for the location. Outdoor dining available, only breakfast and lunch for now. We went this past Sunday for Mother's Day brunch! Upon arrival I was greeted with a glass of champagne with a strawberry and a beautiful mason jar with a bouquet of flowers that I was encouraged to take home with me after brunch! This place is amazing!!! We weren't originally going to stop by here until we saw the menu. Some of these reviews do not give it justice. They were very accommodating and kept up social distancing standards. They were also very attentive and very friendly, constantly checking up. Not too much either where you have a face full of burger and they come up and all you can do is muster a nod and a muffled "mhm." I got the Tommy Burger and substituted their regular fries with their sweet potato waffle fries. Oh man lemme tell you, these fries were hands down the best sweet potato fries I have ever eaten so far. Come by and enjoy a quiet and comfortable meal, it's not pricey and the food should be, the way their dishing out these dishes, they should be over 20 dollars a plate. read more

Tommy's was a great place to grab brunch with my wife while we were in town. The Vegetable Rosti was delicious with every bite. The veggies were perfectly sautéd, not too mushy but not raw and were well seasoned. Add the hot sauce for a "hell yeah" effect. The veggie sandwich was also great, with the chipotle mayo sauce spicing it up.
