Majority of the places tend to open back up around Labor Day weekend as that's when the crowds do trickle back in. Fast forward to the past weekend, we stopped by for brunch. I personally love having a meal along the patio as it's great for people watching. But let me tell you, it was a bit too hot even along the covered patio with mister. All the seating is covered one way or another. The front patio along the restaurant does have mister coming down while the opposite patio that's along the street does not. It is covered though. Out of all the times we've been here, this was the first time having a meal inside the restaurant. It's a cute quaint place. Fun mid century vibe with a nice bar to one side. Also they do have a cute set up whenever you want to host a brunch or something similar. The staffs are always so sweet and friendly. Everyone is so welcoming which that is amazing for places. Then comes the food. We've mainly only been for brunch which is alway great. Menu does change for lunch and dinner. But for now, we've only had brunch and it's alway delicious. Everything we've had has always been fresh and delicious. And for drinks, they do have a full bar I believe. We tend to stick to either the bubbly specials with the mixed berries and three juice options or Bloody Mary. Both, very good. This visit, we opted for the Bloody Mary. Nothing fancy but delicious and with an added slice of bacon. Food wise, the ricotta orange pancake is delicious. House made ricotta pancakes with blueberries, mandarin oranges, whipped cream, powdered sugar and maple syrup on the side. A full meal on its own but also a good sweet addition to a meal. The chicken sandwich, grilled chicken with romaine lettuce, tomato, mozzarella, avocado, mix onion and fried bell peppers on toasted sour dough. Served with a side which their fries are delicious. That itself is pretty massive and very flavorful and delicious. Lastly a build your own omelette with mushrooms, spinach and cheeses. Served with a side salad. Besides build your own, they also have some creations that I've had and are quite delicious. The food has alway been great each and every time. As we've only mainly been for brunch, everything has always been delicious. Service is amazing and the staffs are alway so friendly. It's one of our go to for brunch.

All the tables in the main HH room were occupied but we were also informed that there's more dining towards the back. Honestly it looked pretty packed there as well. We got lucky as there was three open seat at the bar counter. Denise took care of us and she was amazing. The place was lively which was amazing and they literally opened half an hour ago. As your in the bar area, both HH menu and main dining menu was available for us. As we wanted to experience the HH special, it was a given to check that out. They have amazing drinks special with wine, beer and well drinks all for an amazing deal. Also it's a full bar. And then you have the food, quite a good selection on dishes offered. Pretty much everything sounded great and while we were trying to see what dishes were coming out to help with the decision. Basically they all sounded and looked great. We opted for the Shepard pie. Rich lamb stew with rooted vegetables, red wine and fresh herbs and topped with mashed potatoes. First bite, it was quite tasty and the flavors were great. Served as is. It was filling but a side dish might also be great. Also, the buttermilk fried chicken dish served with a side of braised swish chards with bacon and onions, butter mashed potatoes with country gravy. With fried chicken, I'm all about the classic bone in and not a chicken breast version. Here, it was the classic bone in and it was juicy and delicious. Nice golden color and amazing crunch and with the greens, it was delicious. A dish I will definitely get again. Lastly, we were debating about a starter but also wanted to try the fish and chips. Instead we went with the fish and chips but with onion rings. Three nice piece of fresh cod in beer batter and mustard greens slaw. It comes with steak fries but opened for onions rings. Fish was nice and flakey and had a golden batter. And comes with three dipping sauce of malt vinegar, tater and ketchup. It was tasty. Even though we were full, desert was had. The trio of creme brûlée. No explanation there, it was delicious. Overall, HH was amazing. I see what the hype is all about and it was totally worth it. Denise was amazing and the sweetest taking care of us at the bar. Also Juan was a major doll as well. The entire staff there is top notch from the hostess to everyone working. And let's not forget about the food, everything was delicious and flavorful. Will definitely be back again both for dinner and HH. Sammy was especially great--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her customer service really stood out. It's refreshing to have someone who takes pride in making sure customers have a good experience. More restaurants could take a page from Sammy's book because good customer service can make just as much of a difference as good food. Sammy made the visit feel personal and comfortable without being overbearing. The restaurant wasn't too busy when I visited, which made for a nice, chill atmosphere. The 80s music was also a great touch and added to the relaxed vibe. Between the food, atmosphere, and especially the service, this was a great experience. I'd definitely come back!

The chile dust adds great seasoning and flavor while the pine nuts add texture. If I were to rank the best 25 bites of good or dishes I ever had, this would probably be top 10-15. Kolibri Salad - 8.9 The salad contained blue cheese, dried apricots, shaved multicolored carrots, bread crumbs and a mustard vinaigrette. All of the aspects of the salad were very good and played off one another very well. I always say the best salad contain a creamy cheese, fresh fruit (not blueberries or strawberries), nuts and a good vinaigrette. The blue cheese was really creamy and probably the best blue cheese we have had. The mustard vinaigrette was good and paired well with all of the ingredients. The Migas were perfectly cooked, and the spice level was just right. You could taste each ingredient separately, and the salsa was really good too. The potatoes were probably one of my favorite parts--crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The coffee was great as well. My server, Carol R., was very attentive and kept checking on me throughout the meal. She even double-checked the name and receipt, which I appreciated because she was clearly paying attention to the details and making sure everything was correct. The atmosphere is really nice too. It actually feels like you're sitting on a farm, which makes the whole brunch experience feel special. And considering the portion size, quality of the food, and how popular this place is, I thought the price was very reasonable. This place actually met my expectations, which has been rare lately.
