First of all, I was thoroughly impressed with the outdoor setting and the comfortable arrangement of the dining area. We had never been, but our friends had and suggested we give it a try. We started with the Burek, which was a delightful appetizer, light, yet full of flavor. For the main course, two of us had the combination dinner and the others had beef stroganoff. I was blown away by the combo dinner, 3 delicious Hungarian dishes in one, def recommend! As for the stroganoff, I can say without hesitation, the most savory and well balanced I have ever had, a must try! Lastly, the service was outstanding, our glasses were never empty, staff checked in often, and they clearly knew their menu inside and out. Will be bringing friends here and shouting from the rooftops to head to Miro's! One of the best meals I have had here in Palm Springs!

Every time here I enjoy it with the zeal of my first time. The good and service are impeccable. We had the swordfish and branzino My soup came with two spoons! Why? I queried . My Wife said, " it's so I can have a taste " What A small detail What class! Juergen! Thank you!

We had a lovely Valentine's Day meal at Miro's. We split the Branzino and the Mediterranean chicken, and then enjoyed the salted caramel ice cream for dessert. All tasted really great. Our server was wonderful, and our food came just when we would expect it to. It was a very quiet atmosphere, which was just what we wanted. We made a great choice, and I hope to return someday.

What a great dinner! Some Belgian beers, Eastern European and more options. Pea soup with mint was unexpected. Tried the combo, the Burek, the Beef Stroganoff- all great! Service spot on!

Beef stroganoff-1/2 The portion!

Another perfect dinner at Miro's!! Shared everything and they split the dishes for us. Service is spectacular. Wonderful stuffed cabbage and beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes, with their signature cabbage salad with garlic vinaigrette. Husband was happy to have Delirium Tremens in their new very cool glass. After a perfect dirty martini i had a glass of good red.

Cabbage Rolls

If you're visiting Palm Springs you MUST stop by Miros! It's a sort of unexpected little gem serving up traditional Croatian food. Vibe: classic comfortable chic. Plush green velvet chairs, jazz playing in the background, and artwork for sale on every wall. It may sound pretentious but it's actually very homey. What to order: App: try the cabbage roll stuffed with rice and minced meat. It's very tomato forward but light. Good way to ease into what's next. Entree: if you order one thing only from here it's gotta be the beef stroganoff. It's sinful! Imagine the most silky, luscious cream sauce of your life with slices of beef, mushrooms and ribbons of buttery pasta. Decadence!

Schnitzel with the gravy, great presentation

We had already had dinner at another Austrian restaurant in Palm Springs, but realized we had made a big mistake and this was the one we had wanted to go to. We sat very close to the table next to us, we even ended up exchanging phone numbers. The have a condo in Palm Desert, and eat here all the time they said whenever they are in town from Bel Air. They both had the WeinerSchnitzel and said it was delicious, I even had a taste of the one with gravy, it was out of this world! Our server was so congenital and fun to kid around with, will probably ask for him when we return. My friend ordered a few of their specialty drinks, they were great, and I had the apple strudel and latte to be able to drive the 90 miles back home. It was homemade strudel and delcious! We can't wait to come back here and have a real authentic Austrian meal!!

Traditional Hungarian combo

Since discovering this place a few years ago, it has become our go to restaurant for our Palm Springs visits. My wife always has and greatly enjoys the branzino. I've mostly eaten the delicious Mediterranean Chicken. Last night I tried the traditional combo. It's Hungarian, and consists of Chicken Paprikash, Stuffed Cabbage, and Goulash. The first two were excellent. The goulash was sensational and will become my main choice for future visits. Always start with the cabbage salad, which sets the tone perfectly for whatever meal you choose. It, or soup, are included in the price of the meal. I'm a soup person but have to have this dish to start. This place is a true gem.

Service was so friendly and attentive. This is my second time back and it was just as great of an experience as the first. The restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating, and is dimly lit which I enjoy. They were playing soft classical music as well which was lovely. I ordered their swordfish special and it was absolutely delicious. My mom ordered chilean sea bass and she loved it as well.

Our friends, who are regulars, invited us back, and we were once again greeted warmly by owner James, who is consistently welcoming and attentive. We snagged a great table with a prime view of the action, setting the stage for a fantastic evening. Standouts included the tamarind martini, which was exceptional--smooth, flavorful, and dangerously drinkable (I had a few, and soon my friends were ordering them too). The bacon-wrapped figs were a highlight, so good we polished off two orders; the pizza was decent but could have used a touch more time in the oven for a crispier crust. Prices struck a reasonable balance for the quality and vibe. We ate, drank, and danced the night away--truly a perfect outing. V Wine Room delivers on fun, friendly energy every time.

They also serve wines by the glass and have a few Belgian and German beers on tap. This is what we came for. The humidor is kept locked, and staff will escort you through it. Not a shopping style I prefer, but I get why they do it. We picked our sticks. Had a seat in a leather wingback chair. We were asked about our cut. The cigars were brought to us. Handed and lit. Beverages were ordered. We sat with a sack of sandwiches, fully imagining a perfect lunch-beer, beer-cigar combo. Turns out California tobacco lounge laws and health codes had other plans. Outside food isn't allowed if they want to keep their indoor smoking exemption, so the staff had to politely shut down our dreams. Fair enough, lesson learned. Eat first, then smoke. Paid at the end. Overall pleasant experience and decent lounge. For the wine crowd, I did notice some genuinely nice bottles available. That said, if you're not a cigar person, this may be a "love it or leave it" atmosphere. Most people seem to find cigar smoke either rich and cozy or like sitting downwind of a smoky campfire wearing a wool sweater. If you fall into the second category, you may want to grab your wine elsewhere.

It feels like a lived in house with a courtyard and all of the feelings that make it "home." It's familiar and inviting and that's just the beginning. We've been to Palm Springs many times and I've had this place bookmarked for too long and never had an opportunity to try it. I ordered the Complete savory crêpe and had I not been drinking so much water from the heat, I would have devoured this in one sitting. The side salad is a nice touch and balances out the heaviness of the egg and the ham. My coworker had the avocado toast and was overjoyed that it was very plentiful and well portioned. She also ordered a fresh grapefruit juice which she let me try and I found incredibly refreshing. This is by far one of my favorite breakfast places in California!
