Tommy Nails is still my favorite place!!! I consider the nail technicians as part of my family now and they always go above and beyond for all of their customers. I even had to wait a 10 minutes longer for my appointment one day and they gave me a discount! They also always do amazing work and will do anything to accommodate your nail needs. As for Michelle's review.. I actually know her personally from living in the same complex as her and she always has something to complain about. Jeannie is the sweetest and if you are not happy they will always redo the work to your expectations. Officially the worst nail salon in Arizona. Nothing good at all to say about the place. Lady polished my nails & it went around the nails & didn't bother to clean it up. It was gel so it was impossible to remove off my skin, when I finally did the whole color cake off with it. They did a design for me, looks like a drew it with my left feet; doesn't look like art more like scribbles of paint. Horrendous salon read more

This place is just the best. I won't get my nails done anywhere else now, their work is perfect. The experience is friendly, professional and consistent amongst the employees. Other places have tried to make me feel like I shouldn't do colors on my nails because it's not the norm for a guy and this place was the opposite - very welcoming and catered to exactly what I want. Minh and Lai are amazing. They are great communicators. They know their customers and care about them. You can tell they truly enjoy their job and they are up on the latest and greatest styles. Minh did an amazing job. I'm a first timer. He really takes his time. My nails couldn't have turned out better. With all the nail places I would go to they would leave about a centimeter space from the acrylic to the cuticle. I really wasn't getting my money's worth. Very reasonable prices. Lai and Minh are so friendly yet professional, and they make it a point to remember names and faces. I first came to the salon with my mother a couple years back for pedicures because the place we had originally wanted to go to was too busy, so I just searched Yelp for another one located close by. It was many, many months between that first visit and the next, and even though I came alone, both Lai and Minh remembered me and asked about my mom. Hard to believe, but at the age of 66 I decided to get my first manicure! I went to a nail salon recommended to me by a friend. After the second disappointing manicure, I searched Yelp and tried another nail salon. After the first manicure, I was ready to give up but I thought I would try again. I've driven by Tommy's Nails hundreds of time (they are close to home), so I looked them up on Yelp and read the reviews and decided to give it another try and I'm glad I did. Unlike the first two nail salons I frequented, the entire staff is focused on their customer, and they don't constantly talk to each other while they are doing your nails. They really listen to what the customer wants and they offer professional advice and suggestions. They work together and help each other and interact with all customers. Their work is impeccable and they aim to please the customer - period. Another factor that really sets them apart from any hair salon or the first two nail salons I went to is that they don't double or overbook appointments. They accept 'walk ins', BUT, not if it will put them behind or inconvenience the customers who are there. Believe me I know. Their artwork every time I have an event for Comic Con, Halloween, Christmas time, etc. they blow me and everyone who comments on my nails, away. are so open to ideas! "Some people" who are self entitled, snooty people will say anything when things don't go their way. They did a good job, the lady talked me into a spa pedicure when all i wanted was my feet scrubbed and my toes cut and painted...... I apparently had callouses and she would refused to listen to me. I went here with a friend and my niece, which I paid for myself and half of my nieces gel manicure/pedicure I spent $100 for a pedicure and a gel manicure and half of my niece's, my friend paid the other half and paid for her's as well and paid $100 it should not cost $200 for 3 people to get a pedicure and manicure. They also had a "regular" come in. They chatted with her and even moved her in front of my niece so me and my friend were getting our feet done instead of putting my niece with us in the pedicure chair they had started running water in they put their regular there and had my niece get her manicure started first. Why do girls go to nail salons????? To spend time together and get pampered and they ruined half of the experience with their favoritism. I liked the job they did and the place was clean and nice, however at those prices I almost considered taking the abuse at T&L nails! I have not returned as my visit was in February. read more

Unfortunately there was nothing special aside from the friendly nail techs. They are short staffed and my pedi/mani was rushed at one point having tech work on my nails while getting my pedi done. They are very personable but for what I paid I was hoping for a little more time but understandably having only two techs it did not allow for that. I wish them well. read more
