best pasta hands down! and the sauce... perfecto. I recommend the lobster bisque and red chili seafood pasta.

Italian restaurants are everywhere but they are NOT created equal. Many restaurants are good but very few are mind-blowing where it stands out and is memorable. Hence why we rarely ever eat Italian. However, the reviews sucked us in and we're always up for a food adventure. We started off with an appetizer, fried calamari, and ordered two entrées. You can't go to an Italian restaurant and not get these little chewy bites. They came out hot and lightly battered like I like them. Good: Fresh-tasting, tender and lightly battered Bad: Very oily Suggestion: Should come with marinara sauce and not just ranch. Our entrées were spectacular. We shared the Supreme pizza and seafood portofino. Pizza: Perfect, crispy crust. Served on a unique pan where it raises the pizza so it's not baking in oil and soggy. The amalgamation of flavors from the cheese, sauce, meat and veggies were excellent. Nothing was over powering, like some strong seasoned sausages or acidic red sauce, and the freshness came through with every bite. We were impressed with the taste, quality and quantity. They did not skimp on the meat, sausages and pepperoni, veggies, red onions and peppers and the cheese. Seafood portofino: Just wow was my thought when I had my first bite. The pasta was a hair over al dente which is perfect for me. The sauce was not too thick but had chunks of tomato and sun-dried tomatoes. They loaded the dish with large and small shrimp, baby clams in shell, clam meat and tiny scallops. I had a piece of seafood in every bite. The sauce nicely coated the pasta without being too rich. Love This Dish! Service: I'd give them 10 stars just for having a PET FRIENDLY patio. Being that it was close to 95 degs at 9pm last night at dinner, we couldn't leave our dog in the car. So we grabbed a table and enjoyed our meal with our furry child. The waitress was so kind to bring him to his own water bowl. Now that's customer service. Oh, a previous, old review mentioned the high level of sodium in their food. Well, I cannot eat super salty food and I can attest that nothing I ate was overly salty. I would highly recommend eating here if you're in the Lewiston and Clarkston area. I know we will definitely be back. read more

Every time we come here it is with a large group of 15-20 people and every time we are welcomed and seated promptly. That alone is worth a star or two. We also enjoy the atmosphere here. The service is always friendly and considering the size of our rally team the wait-staff is very good about refills and special requests. This last time we called ahead and asked about coming with a group of 15 just 45 minutes before closing and they welcomed us just as warmly as ever and did not hurry us up to get out either. The food is pretty darn good, the baked Lazzoni is lasagna ingredients baked into a calzone. Always excellent. I have to say I am not a big fan of their marinara sauce on their pasta, it's very plain, but that is easy to avoid on their menu. Unless you like your marinara like that. Got Salt? Fazzari's was closed on New Year's Day, so we wound up here, which seems to present itself as a fun "concept" restaurant. It's like a chain, but isn't. Gorgonzola Waffle fries were a hit with everyone. Liked the hot bread loaf and herb butter. Spaghetti Marinara had a nice sweet sauce and firm pasta. Decent selection of microbrews. Our issue was with their "famous" wood-fired pizza. We ordered the margherita pizza, which should be one of the easiest pizzas to make. Unfortunately, they make it like a "margarita" drink, as in kosher salt(!) shaken liberally ALL OVER the pizza. Now if you know anything about nutrition you know that even cheese pizza is already high in sodium. Who in their right mind would shake even more salt on top of that? Amazing. My wife found the big salt flakes on the crust edge and showed it to the waitress. The chef said "that's the way the owner likes it." OK, well then the owner can have it. There's no such thing as bad sex or pizza, but this was some bad, inedible pizza. I noticed the saltiness on the first piece and stopped eating after the second. To add insult to injury, our bill was in the mid-$50 range for pizza, spaghetti and perhaps four beers...too much for a casual dinner! read more

This is specifically for the takeout service. We have ordered from Tomato Brothers on three separate occasions. Each time my wife has requested a pear & blue cheese salad with an added chicken breast. We do not live in WA and always are simply passing through. The first time we tried the takeout my wife did not get the sliced chicken breast we paid for. The second time we didn't get the dressing or the chicken breast. I called the restaurant and they offered to remove the cost of her meal from our credit card charge. Sounds good but never happened. Today when we ordered I insisted on seeing the requested chicken; it was there, but, when we got down the road to the park to eat- no dressing, no utensils, no napkins. I think our waitress' name was shanah. She was a "more mature" woman--(older than the usual 20s aged ones you find). She was so good with our son who is diagnosed with developmental disabilities. Service was the best part of the visit. As a person who lived most his life in the LCV I've noticed the decline at happy day restaurants. Visiting for the holiday I thought it would be nice to go there. I ordered one of my favorites which is the chicken piccata. Sadly there was only 5 capers on the entire dish which was disappointing because capers aren't expensive. Second the mashed potatoes were lumpy and only like warm in the middle with skins still attached. The rest was cold. The sauce really isn't lemony anymore. They need to serve the potatoes skinless and whipped to make the dish much better. Add more capers like in the past where you had a few capers per bite. Add fresh lemon zest to the sauce right at the end of cooking the sauce to elevate the flavor. Considering the price and quality, I will not be returning any time soon, if at all. So I came here yesterday around lunch my server was named Alex and I had the absolute best experience she was so helpful and had things to me as soon as I realized I needed them myself tonight I decided to come back because there were too many delicious items on the menu to truly experience them in one meal. This place is one of those places I wish I lived closer too so I could try more of their menu items, especially the pizza. Selecting what I wanted here was a huge challenge because everything looked so good! I ended up getting the bacon asparagus fettuccine and was not disappointed. Everything was so fresh, flavorful and aesthetically pleasing. It was also healthy, as the serving sizes weren't astronomical and the spinach and asparagus were not overcooked. When my wife and I had dinner, I was disappointed because I was charged my over 21.00 for shrimp and steak and it was a very small portion. I do not recommend the bite size, go elsewhere for that, this establishment cannot figure out how to cook the steak properly. The service is always good. read more

Had a late lunch/early dinner with my folks on September 1, 2018. We were seated and our server greeted us promptly. Her name was Ali, and we have nothing but five stars to say about Ali. She was fun and seemed to love her job immensely. My wife had many questions about some of the menu items and got concise and delicious answers. Our hot bread was served hot with the most delicious whipped garlic butter I've had in a long time. All of our entrées were served piping hot, and all were delicious. We enjoyed eating here very much and will return on our next visit to Lewiston. read more

Good lunch stop on the way home after vacation. Tomato Brothers does a very good job preparing various Italian dishes and are reasonably priced. The ambiance inside the Restaurant is "Old Italian Family Style" décor with lots of culinary artifacts hanging on the walls and shelves. I enjoyed a serving of PUTTANESCA which consisted of Angel hair pasta with kalamata olives, anchovies, capers, olive oil, garlic, onions, oregano, red pepper flakes & fire roasted tomatoes. ($12.95) and I added sautéed calamari rings ($2.50). My wife enjoyed her dish GREEK PASTA consisting of Fettuccini pasta, bay scallops. shrimp, mushrooms, Kalamata olives, tossed in lemon garlic cream sauce and topped with myzithra cheese ($12.95). Greeted as we walked in door...seated as quickly...Alex our server was at the table within a few secs...dropped menus and took r drink order..Do you hv sweet tea I asked...no she said but I'll make u some...it was perfect! Back quickly with this amazing tea she whipped up and order was taken...back just as quick with salads...perfect...food here! Again quickly and perfect...wasn't my favorite dish but it was good, hot and exactly as the menu stated...here comes Alex again...refill on that sweet tea? U betcha! But somehow I survive another day! So I was going to write a new review for my dinner visit. Guess you can't do that! Who knew? After the heavy lunch I wasn't real hungry. But I always liked happy hour there so off I went about 5 30. Wandered into the bar area and grabbed a spot at the bar. Started with a very nice glass of 2014 Maryhill red. It was awesome. I finally decided on a kale and beet salad! What the hell. Never had one before and I like both of those foods so.... why not? It also had candied walnuts and a nice vinaigrette. I did not love it, BUT it was very good and I ate every bite. It was a bit sweet. If the beets hadn't been so sweet it may have been outstanding.I like beets with a bit more vinegar bite to them and I think if they had that the salad would have been more balanced. BUT, that's me. My boyfriend and I went on a random adventure to Lewiston/Clarkston yesterday afternoon. After some exploratory driving and walking by the water, we needed some grub. Tomato Bros. was the first restaurant that we came across and we were both willing to try it because of the positive reviews from Yelpers. Italian food is so simple to make at home so we never really eat at Italian restaurants. I'm glad that we stopped, though. The interior of this theme restaurant is cute, quirky, and definitely a step-up from an Applebee's-type establishment. They put a big piece of white butcher paper a la elementary school so that you can doodle with some crayons. We ordered two beers, garlic baked shrimp, portobella andouille mastoccioli, and steak myzithra. The meal came with a loaf of bread and garlic butter, and salad. The beer glasses came filled to the top. The garlic shrimp was good, but a little tough and only came with three pieces of shrimp. Don't order it unless you want to spend $8 on spinach and breadcrumbs with some shrimp thrown in. I got the andouille and my boyfriend got the steak myzithra but we ended up switching plates and were both happy. I enjoyed the entrees equally, my boyfriend ended up not enjoying his dish. Our waitress was great. She was really quick when we asked for something, checked on us regularly but wasn't intrusive, and seemed genuinely friendly.
