What an amazing mix of food! My partner doesn't really like vegan food and was impressed with the Crunchwrap and his burrito. He did say he liked the Crunchwrap more, which I agree had more flavor and texture differences than the burrito. The meat was made from beyond meat and it wasn't too salty like some other types of vegan meat. When I asked whether there was more fiber in the Crunchwrap or the buffalo wrap, the staff member said he wasn't sure but that the Crunchwrap probably had a bit more and that he had been meaning to sit down and calculate the nutritional content of his food. The "nacho cheese" tasted very similar to cheese and the beans and guac were a plus in the Crunchwrap. The texture was great. We were very impressed with the small business and feel like they would do well to expand to other parts of Oregon/California. We got our food in about 10-15 minutes and everything was fresh. There's plenty of street parking but the tables can be difficult to find if it's busy, which it was when we got there. There are plenty of other good food trucks in this area and can be hard to choose from!

Prior to arriving at the food truck, I was happy to see several customers enjoying food from the food truck. Upon arriving at the food truck, I liked the clean appearance of the food truck which had a sleet menu and colorful sign near the order window. The employee was friendly and informative. When husband informed her of his severe nut allergy, she confirmed the severity of the allergy then told him that the only item on the containing nut is the cashew queso. I really appreciated that she also asked if hubby preferred that they use a complete separate area to make his crunchwrap to reduce the possibility of cross contamination and he replied yes. After looking at their vast menu, I ordered a pizza crunchwrap without jalapeños and a side of vegan garlic bread and hubby ordered a nacho crunchwrap without the cashew queso. With the completion of our order, I was handed a buzzer and enjoyed finding a nearby place to sit not too far from the food truck. Following a short wait, our food was ready to be picked up. My pizza crunchwrap was flavorful, crispy, and well balanced with vegan meat and the cashew quo. The vegan garlic bread was crunchy, buttery, and fragrant. Hubby loved his nacho crunchwrap and even without the cashew queso, the flavor profile was multilayered and perfectly spiced. Considering that this was our first time visiting Toasty, we will definitely plan to visit again the next time we visit Bend!

I had hardcore carnivore buddy swear up and down that this vegan was legit and after a few visits, I would have to agree! I've had the Nacho Crunch Wrap, the Beefy 5-layer Burrito, and the Super Loaded Nachos. All were fantastic, providing great flavor and texture. I am definitely not vegan or vegetarian and really enjoyed my meals without feeling I was missing anything. The Crunch Wrap is probably my favorite. If you typically do not eat began cuisine or feel Toasty might not be an option for you, I would encourage you to give it a try!

I wanted to check this place out after hearing all the positive comments. However, unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. Don't get me wrong, it's a great spot for non meat eaters. As a carnivore, it was still a satisfying and hearty meal. The portion was huge and I split it into two meals. I didn't think it was extraordinary, just slightly above average. I personally don't think this place is a must try while in Bend and I would skip it next time.

I'm always on the hunt for good vegan food and this place was amazing. Usually I'm not a huge fan of soy meat but this place made it perfectly and the texture + seasoning was spot on. I tried their crunchwraps which were insane and the nachos were great as well. The location was in a cute food truck circle and there was nice indoor seating with heating. The service was quick and I will definitely come back if I visit again!

This food truck in Bend is a plant-based haven. A local recommended the nacho crunchwrap, though I would have tried everything if I had the time/ room in my stomach. I also got the cheesy scramble and wholly guacamole, that hit the spot. Service was great-- and it took about 15-20 minutes to make the food. Beautiful day to sit in the sun, though I had to head back to Harmony Animal Sanctuary for a scheduled tour. Toasty was a beautiful vegan meal to round out a very harmonious day!

OMG. Love this place so much! The Crunchwrap is incredible! Features the best vegan queso ever made. The "beef" mixture is hearty and savory with great texture. They have some of the best-possible tasting lettuce. It's an explosion of flavor. The Mountain Breakfast Burrito is solid as well, but is heavily Mexican influenced, so it was less breakfast-y than we expected.

Visiting in Bend, looking for easy vegan, and tried out Toasty. It's part of a food truck lot with plenty of food options for everyone. Toasty's is all vegan. We tried the breakfast burritos and the beefy five burrito. The burritos are HUGE so get ready for a mouthful. I thought the beefy five was a bit hefty in ingredients but hey, it was still tasty. The breakfast burrito was more balanced and yummy. Still huge. We also had the Super Loaded Nachos, and boy were they. I can't really review this because we took it to go and separated out the cheese. The cheese was fantastic. The nachos were a meal. We also got some ice cream at Birdsong, right next to Toasty. The mulberry was dreamy. Mouth watering. I would go back just for that. The food lot was clean, lively, great tables, and lots to select from. Pay them a visit! You won't be disappointed.

Wow, what an amazing Crunchwrap!!! We found out that Toasty is 64 out of 100 for food trucks and had to give it a try. I think they should have been higher up!! The service was excellent!! Loved my first time at Toasty! We ordered the nacho Crunchwrap and Buffalo Crunchwrap. The food was flavorful, filling, and way better than anything you could get at Taco Bell. The menu has a lot of options and is priced fairly. Plus, our food was made quickly and the owners are very friendly. Overall 10/10 experience and we will be back! read more

Disappointed to see this truck closed when everything else in the pod was open. Nothing on their instagram To notify us and I drove there just for that (vegan). Fine, be closed on the holiday to give employees the day but notify your customers before they get to the window and have to read a hand written note. read more

My first day on my first trip to Bend ever, I find this hidden gem! I called first to make sure they were open, since CV has impacted so many. Great friendly service both on the phone and in person. Parking can be a bit tricky as there is not a designated parking lot, know there is good street parking around the area. They are located in the back of the food truck lot. Getting an idea of what there truck looks like through yelp photos will help easily find them, if a first timer. There are lovely some covered and some not, picnic tables to enjoy the outdoors and this yummy vegan high vibrational food. Super yummy menu. I had the nacho crunch wrap! Best thing I have had on my whole trip from San Diego. I would definitely try them again as well as recommend to those both vegan and not! Little trailer behind the podsk beer bar on Arizona near the Old Mill area. It was kind of hard to find but so VERY WORTH THE SEARCH. We had the Chicken ranch burrito special, and the buffalo chicken crunch wrap. Both were delicious. I rarely visit a restaurant twice while traveling (particularly areas with so many great dining options), but I'm definitely going back there before leaving. read more

I'm not a vegetarian, but I do like eating less meat and these folks make it oh so darn easy, because the food is absolutely delicious and affordable. My absolute favorite is the Buffalo Chikn Crunch Wrap that has such wonderful texture and flavor. I've taken numerous friends there that wouldn't typically have a look at a vegan food cart and they all love it. Go get you some! read more

I only give 5 stars to vegan and vegetarian restaurants so there. I highly recommend you guys stick to hours that you advertise. I spent a week in Bend and anything I went to their booth they were not there. Even if their hours said they would be open they were closed. They even meal prepped Monday and should have been there later that week but nothing. Went here 4 times and asked other local vendors who also didn't know. Maybe answer your phones. I tried calling several times, no response. read more

Honestly I figured I would never even try vegan food in my life let alone leave a review. But then toasty food truck popped up. Definitely some amazing food whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or vegan curious, or you just want to put some health down your McDonalds eating trash bucket of a mouth. No judgement Ive been there. But seriously Im thankful for toasty food truck as they give me, as one of the most stubborn food chompers out there, a chance at a healthier life that still takes the cake and blows up the bomb of my taste buds. HANDS DOWN the BEST Vegan food in Bend, OR. Honestly... DO NOT I repeat DO NOT just order one crunchwrap, you will WANT 2! Trust me! You can't go wrong with any item on the menu though, it is ALL amazing! Oh and did I mention the staff.. they are the BEST! They are so nice and friendly and the owner is the most Beautiful Human being inside and out. I live in Phoenix now and crave Toasty on the daily. This is the best vegan food in Bend! You wouldn't even know the cheese doesn't contain dairy or the meat is plant based. All of the sauces are handmade at the truck and so delicious. I would eat here everyday if I could. Highly recommend the beyond beef burrito! read more

This is a cute little vintage trailer located in The Podski food cart lot in Bend. They make wonderful vegan food for breakfast and lunch/dinner! The French Toast is so good and I also love the Bacon Ranch Avocado Toast. They also offer burritos and Taco salad. I read more

This place is SOO GOOD. I've been waiting to try this food cart for so long and it didn't disappoint!! They make all their sauces from scratch and it's what makes these dishes way better than any other place. I would HAVE to recommend the Crunch Wrap, I went three days in a row and made sure at least someone from the group ordered it so I could steal some bites. Vegan or not, this food will make you very happy :) read more

We specialize in burritos and our best selling vegan nacho crunchwrap. We also provide 4 different types of avocado toast and some delicious salads and bowls! We make vegan food that will impress even your non vegan friends, everyone is welcome!

History

Established in 2019.

This has become somewhat of a family run business. It was started back in 2019 by Brooke Preim. Within 6 months she brought her significant other on to help her run the truck. Now she has five employees, including her cousin and brother. Starting the business just months before a worldwide pandemic was a little rocky, but by the time Brooke came up with the crunchwrap special in May of 2020; business was booming. Through word of mouth alone and almost no advertising at all, Toasty has become one of the most loved vegan food establishments in Bend, OR. We hope to open more food trucks in the future. Our goal is to show our community how truly easy it can be to be vegan for the animals and environment. We hope to make it easier for everyone by providing the kind of food that tastes just like the meals most people grew up with containing animal products. We know change can be hard, but we strive to make going vegan a lot easier by providing the flavors you are already comfortable with!

While we were there, the line stretched to the door most of the time but it moves fast. This is the time you use to choose your bottle of wine, pick food, and browse the pastries on display. There were several places to sit indoors and out after placing the order. The kids hade the garlic bites (fried balls of bread with garlic and cheese...looked like doughnut holes!) and a pizza. They can add pepperoni to a cheese pizza for the particular children in your life. My husband and I shared a Cobb salad, no croutons to make it gf (the lemon dill dressing was AMAZING! Actually, this whole salad was very good). We also intended to share the NY strip with chimichurri. However, we didn't read that it comes with bread and a side salad (great!) and roasted vegetables in romesco sauce (also great!). My husband is allergic to nuts and so he couldn't eat any. That is not a complaint...all on us! The menu is clearly marked. But be aware if you have a nut allergy to specify that you can't have the romesco sauce. Or let the order taker know, as they are informed on modifications and whatnot. So he ate the salad and done pizza. I ate most of the steak and veggies. Everything tasted really good. The steak was a bit gristly. But the chimichurri was great. My absolute favorite thing was the elote cake with tajin buttercream. It was not a sweet cake. But it was heavenly. I should have grabbed another piece before we left. It was creative and salty and delicious and I still want it two days later. Service was great. Food is brought out as it's ready, not all at once. And the side salad and bread is brought before the main dish. The people were friendly and helpful. This was a great place and I would definitely go back.

This food is absolutely MAGICAL. We ordered the Nacho Crunchwrap and were completely blown away by how incredibly delicious it was! The food is fresh and full of flavor. Despite having to wait 45 minutes for our order, it was absolutely worth it! I'm thrilled to have found this food cart as finding vegan options can be challenging.
