    Tomato Burrata Toast
    Ailun H.

I need to find a cafe to take a meeting in Clarendon this past Friday afternoon, so Toastique it was. It was relatively empty, with one or two others there. There was plenty of seating, and the wifi was reliable. They have a wide selection of toast, smoothie bowls, smoothies, and drinks. TOMATO BURRATA - 13 I've never seen toast this size -- it was twice the width of the average slice of bread. The toast was spread with a thin layer of herbed ricotta and pesto and topped generously with tomato slices, a fat blob of burrata, and drizzled with olive oil and balsamic glaze. The tomatoes were sweet and juicy, which contrasted well with the tanginess of the balsamic glaze. Toast was nice and crunchy, and the pesto was a bit garlicky. I wish the burrata was softer. When cutting it open, the mozzarella was a bit more solidified than I would've liked. Overall, pretty good toast with the typical Arlington pricing. I'd come back for a light meal of toast or smoothie bowl if I was in Clarendon and craving something of the sort.

The food here is crazy expensive for what you get- Avocado toast was $15 and nothing special. The peach and prosciutto toast had what seemed like plums instead of peaches which was kind of weird? The chai latte was horrible. The smoothies were ok but over prices for the size you get. Service was fast though. Overall meh experience and won't be coming back

Ordered online, ordered the original acai bowl and a radiance juice over ice. The radiance juice was good but a little on the sour side, likely from the grapefruit. I received the juice for free for signing up for a points rewards. I personally think $9.50 is outrageously priced for this juice. The açaí bowl was delicious, but again, though it is priced comparably to other restaurants serving açaí at $13.00, I felt like the toppings weren't enough for the price. There is literally one strawberry and maybe 1/4th a banana on top. I would love to give this place 5stars for flavor but the prices are a little over kill in my opinion. It's beautiful inside, staff are kind, and there are outside tables. I will likely come back but not frequent due to price and serving size.

One location of a rapidly expanding, fast-casual, toast-centric, counter-service restaurant chain Although the place is toast centric, they shockingly have far more toasts that are better suited for lunch than for breakfast. For example, they don't have any toasts that have egg on them In addition to their toasts they also have a large selection of options for drinks (including a lot of different types of smoothies), açaí bowls, and overnight oats I got an açaí bowl and it was decent, but the fruit wasn't super fresh I also got a vanilla latte that was solid The location is bright and airy, and there is plenty of seating available

Located right next to the Clarendon metro, this place is easy to get to by foot, parking that might be another issue depending on what time of day it is. Came here both on opening day and afterwards. Happy to report that both time were consistent, and service was great both times. I'm still not used to the gourmet toast culture but if you and your food to look as good as it taste then this might be the place to go. I tried both the salmon and crab. Both were good. The ambience is nice too as the music isn't too loud but still nice.

So I popped in with a friend (right before closing) and I wish I wish I WISH we arrived sooner! The…read morestaff (especially the woman who took our order) were friendly and efficient despite the last minute rush. The vibes were everything and you could come with a few people or even solo and enjoy a book, some pho, decor that honors anything and everything chill, and one of their deliciously addictive egg coffees. Yes, you read that correctly, EGG coffee. Iced Egg Coffee, to be more specific. It's sweet, satisfying, refreshing, and you'll want it again and again. The amount of times I've tried to mimic this at home is downright embarrassing...which means that another trip is in order! I have my eye on the Toffee Milk, Saigonese Shake, and Artichoke Refresher. The menu honors traditional Vietnamese fare and fusion, so everyone can find something to enjoy :D Would I come back? Definitely, and I'm bringing everyone. Well, 3 others, because that's all I can fit in my car; but I'm telling everyone :D Enjoy!

A customer for years - Chill Zone is a great little gem on Harrison St, tucked away just off the…read moreside of the Safeway. It's become a favorite spot for my daughter and me, and we've even hosted several hangouts for her friends there. It's the perfect low-key environment for a small group. The interior has a great vibe; kids (and likely plenty of adults) love making the origami cranes that decorate the room. My daughter and her friends always head straight for the traditional seating area with the pillows on the floor, though there are plenty of regular tables if you prefer the standard setup. On the menu, the Beef Banh Mi is a standout. It's easily the best you'll find in this part of town without making the trek out to the Eden Center. The meat is juicy, the roll is excellent, and they offer it with or without an egg. The secret stars of the menu, however, are the basil fries. They are excellent and come with a fantastic house-made dipping sauce that pulls it all together. While my daughter is the boba fan of the duo, I stick to the coffee and smoothies. Just be cautious with the Vietnamese coffee--if you aren't a seasoned veteran, that caffeine kick will have your heart racing for hours. The staff is consistently fast, friendly, and efficient. It's a local neighborhood staple that we'll keep coming back to. My only complaint is that they are not a coffee shop for early AM!
