my boyfriend brought me here for a quick birthday breakfast and i was not disappointed. it's a very cute hole in the wall place and decorated simple and cute. i ordered an iced oat matcha and a build your own toast with sourdough, pesto, tomato, avocado and prosciutto. my boyfriend opted for the iced pb & j latte and bacon breakfast sandwich on croissant. i really liked that the cooks station is right in plain view and he makes the orders as they come. it came out pretty fast and was delicious. the matcha was unsweetened i think but i added a couple sweet n low and it was perfect. my boyfriend really enjoyed his order too. if i'm in riverside i'll for sure come by again :) read more

Stopped by Toasted for the first time today. Gotta say, walking up to it from the parking lot is misleading a bit. It's a simple storefront but the moment you open the door, you get a good waft of coffee aroma... that's a good thing, by the way. You're immediately greeted by a courteous staff. It's small and cozy, and they offer a pretty impressive menu; both, of coffee drinks and foods to go along with your drink. They're fairly new but I would say that it's definitely worth a try. Give them a shot to earn your patronage, you may just be as surprised as I was. I, for one, will surely be back. Yep, they're that good. read more

Today my friend and I found this hidden gem. I ordered the breakfast sandwich on sourdough bread and omg. So delicious with fresh ingredients. I also ordered an iced latte with caramel drizzle. Wow! Everything was just great. It's a small place and we were lucky to find a table to sit at and enjoy our meal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back. read more

The food tastes SO good! Same for the drinks! I would recommend the Strawberry Lemonade. The servers are amazing! Takes less than 5 minutes for two drinks (20 ounces) and 3 sandwiches! The decor is nice, like a cozy cabin and the bathroom is nice, clean and modern. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. read more

Stopped by around noon on a Sunday. There is limited seating for sit down dining but we lucked out and got a table. Ordered the croissant French toast and croissant breakfast sandwich. Both were really good. We aren't coffee drinkers so we didn't try that. We will go there again. read more

Absoloutely liked or loved everything I have tried so far. I love the chai because its not sweet and doesnt taste like the powder chai at other coffee shops. It tastes more like chai served in Indian/middle eastern restaurants with the spicy bite. The food always looks and smells wonderful, I'm usually beginning errands so dont get a breakfast, but It kills me everytime, breakfast sandwiches, the pesto fried eggs. Made in store bread too? This cute little cafe is the perfect setting for a first date or if you want to have a little time in the day for some me time! First, I want to mention miss Karina who took my order & handed it out. She was so patient & kind as this was my first time there. She even let me charge my phone in the back, which was so unexpected, but very nice of her! Now, for the food! I got the pesto fried eggs and potatoes & added a sausage patty on top. For a drink, I got the Flower Boy refresher. Everything was de-li-cious! The price for the food was reasonable, the only thing is the drink was $6 but I will probably try a coffee next time. I wish I could've taken a picture, but my phone was dead :/ Nonetheless, I will be coming back here for some good vibes & good eats. :) read more

Absolutely love this tiny little place. Food is nothing short of amazing and service is EXCELLENT. It gets super duper busy on weekends so please be patient, there isn't a lot of sit down tables so next time we will just be doing pick up. But totally worth going to. read more

Loved my latte (oatmilk) and I enjoyed that we got to choose how we wanted our breakfast sandwiches. The staff is awesome and kind, my bf wasnt sure on what coffee he'd like because he's only recently started drinking it and they recommended the rosemary orange latte and he loved it. Loved the music they had playing and it had such a good vibe. Before leaving we wanted to try the Green Day and Love Grows and they were both amazing. Definitely plan on going back and I found my go to coffee shop for my weekends. read more

I never leave bad reviews but I have come here twice and it's closed and there are clearly people in the building. I've come at 7:00 AM on a Friday and Saturday and they're closed. Simply update your hours if you're not open. It's inconvenient for your customers and overall just bad business practice. Wish I could say I've been here but I can't! lol read more

This is a solid, upscale coffee shop in Downtown Riverside. I've been to their other locations as…read morewell, but mostly visit Bakehouse and Downtown. As far as options go, I think there's a decent selection of more unique syrups for coffees. They do change it up throughout the year. The drinks here are definitely more of a premium price point, but I think they're generally good. On this particular trip, I wanted to try their new syrup flavor (it was some form of orange zest, or something similar?), but noticed my latte had no real flavor in it after a few sips. Upon looking at the receipt, the person who took my order just gave me a regular cafe latte and didn't add the syrup I requested. The coffee was fine, but I would have liked trying something new. I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.

That said, I come here often, and there is one item that keeps me coming back: the zucchini. Their zucchini with ranch is an automatic 10 out of 10. As far as options go, I think there's a decent selection of more unique syrups for coffees. They do change it up throughout the year. The drinks here are definitely more of a premium price point, but I think they're generally good. On this particular trip, I wanted to try their new syrup flavor (it was some form of orange zest, or something similar?), but noticed my latte had no real flavor in it after a few sips. Upon looking at the receipt, the person who took my order just gave me a regular cafe latte and didn't add the syrup I requested. The coffee was fine, but I would have liked trying something new. I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.

I recently visited this establishment for the first time on a Sunday morning, right after coming out of Harvest. Overall, I had a positive experience, particularly with the quality of the breakfast my wife and I ordered. The staff was friendly and helpful, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. However, I'd like to share a couple of minor concerns. Firstly, the place tends to get crowded, and the indoor seating area is limited. Additionally, the outdoor seating consists of tall tables without chairs, which may not be ideal for some guest. Secondly, while the food was amazing. I found the plastic forks provided to be somewhat inadequate. When trying to cut my croissant French Toast, a plastic fork and knife weren't sufficient. Perhaps considering sturdier utensils could enhance the dining experience. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely return, although next time I might opt for takeout. You can see them cracking fresh scrambled eggs for the sandwiches, along with baking all their pastries and breads made from scratch. The ambiance is lovely, great vibes all around. Coffee is always fresh and made to perfection. I've seen the Baristas early in the morning dilating the espresso so every shot can come out smooth and tasty. Great place over all. When I went to check on my order, the worker I asked didn't understand English and just stared at me until another employee stepped in to help. I have had several take away breakfasts at Toasted for the last few months. They've adapted to covid, with the installation of screens and a one way system through the premises. I prefer to call in my orders beforehand, they're always very accommodating and my food is ready to pick up in 15minutes and always the correct order. We will definitely be getting that when we come back. The staff was very friendly and attentive to us! We sat on the patio to watch planes take off and it was so cool! We got there around 8:45 and the whole restaurant (inside and out) was packed by 9:30am! And there was a line at the host stand by the front lobby of the airport itself. Very clean and fun location. Food order is to he made and takes a little longer and food arrives not all at once, maybe a plate or two are behind. Food is mediocre You may not get that refill, If you do request from someone working there they will ask who is your server and wait until they are free to get that refill. By the time server got to our table, I was almost done with my food. Just wanted coffee refill. The only time the server engage a conversation was when we were waiting to leave and no detailed receipt was presented to pay. The server had the terminal ready on hand with total to pay. This isn't the first time I've visited, I've given it a few chances and I'm just truly disappointed each time.

The barista in the back brought a small cup of cafecito to my friend and I to try. The cafecito was sweetened and had a smooth taste, I ended up ordering it but with ice! Coffee: I ordered a Cafecito Iced with Cold Foam (toasted marshmallow) and it was soooo delicious! (I was pretty wired for the day). This place is the light at the end of a tunnel! I picked it…read morebecause I'm staying next door at the hotel. And because it has Goat in the title, I skipped past the other shops, obviously. The Barista was very sweet and recommended the Maple Bourbon Vanilla Cinnamon Latte. She explained that although it may sound almost too flavorful, it's actually perfectly sweet. So I ordered the bigger size, she called it a - reserve? I could be wrong but the large let's say. I can't believe how delicious it is, I couldn't even stop myself to take the picture first. I chose Oatmilk and added the Vanilla Cinnamon Cold Foam on top...I will never be the same!! How I will survive living so far from this gem i don't know, but believe that if I do find myself in this area again, maybe with one delicious intent, I will be stopping by The Copper Goat. I wish I got the Barista's name, you were wonderful!!
