We got carryout. First impression is the restaurant is filthy and falling apart. Dust on surfaces, slimey floors, holy drywall and tiles in kitchen coming up. Crab cake was disgusting. I've never had a bad crab cake until now. Couldn't even eat a second bite. Drunken chicken was slop and disgusting. Brussels were out of a can and tossed with balsamic. This place needs help. I tossed $100 worth of food because it was so gross. I'd be concerned with cross contamination after watching the kitchen staff handling food and not washing hands between. The standard around the area is low but this is probably one of the worst places I've tried in my 14 years in the area. For the record, this review was not directed toward the staff nor an attempt to get refunded. The staff were decent. But the food was so bad that I didn't even want to have the conversation to get the restaurant to correct it. If they actually cared, the place would be more presentable and the food would show. The food was great. I got the sampler, everything was very good. The staff was very nice, and we were sat in 20 minutes. We left and went to the thrift store across the street during our wait, if you need something to do during a wait. The only reason I give this place 4 stars is the floor was extremely slick. It felt like they just waxed it (if that's the description I'm looking for) and I found that to be particularly dangerous. Otherwise, very good place with nice staff and good food. I'd definitely recommend this spot, just change what you're using on the floors is all. read more

The food had no flavor. The french toast was like eating cold rubber. The pancake I spit in a napkin. The staff hung out at the front register and talked horribly about coworkers. This is my first and only time I will ever go to this restaurant. read more

Where are y'all? This understated restaurant has some of the finest food and drink throughout the Grand Strand. Unassuming exterior and interior does not influence the quality of the food. Now open every evening but Sunday, my party had the place to ourselves. Drink menu is extensive and delicious. Food selections are to die for. Starting with crabcake shrimp dip (really good), we ordered blackened grouper with Parmesan sauce, crab cakes, and prime rib. All three entrees were superb. Y'all. This place is a must visit when at the NC coast (or if you're in Myrtle...honestly, it's worth the drive!). This was our 2nd time here. Went in around 10 a.m. for brunch on a Saturday morning. We were at the coast for the weekend taking advantage of Summer's last gasp. The outside is pretty unassuming...nothing fancy. Inside isn't much different. They were pretty full but we were seated right away. This place has a lot...and I mean A LOT...of drink options. If you're a bourbon drinker, chances are they have whatever your heart desires! They also have a huge selection of mimosa options...I'm talking 50 or 60 to choose from! They also have a lot of Bloody Mary options. My husband got the Bloody Mary flight which included his choice of 4: Bloody Marianne (made with Bulleit), traditional, spicy, and the Tamarind Bloody Mary. I got the mimosa flight, which was 3 full size mimosas. The flavors I tried were the "Old Fashioned" (made with Makers Mark), "Pina Colada", and their seasonal mimosa, and the "Fall for You", which was without a doubt the best one. It was amazing!! Next, the food. We ordered the Bella's Bruschetta as a starter. These were crazy good. I ordered the filet mignon omelette. The meat was cooked medium rare and was super tender and delicious with the Havarti and spinach in the omelette. If I was going to say anything remotely negative, it would be that it could've used more salt, but that was an easy fix! Hubby got the apple butter omelette...it was topped with an apple butter made in-house with Buffalo Trace bourbon. Yummy!!! Our server was awesome. Stopped here on a whim when the place we were going was closed, and OMG I'm so glad we did! It doesn't look like much from the outside but once you enter, that all changes. We were warmly welcomed and our server/owner Nic was a real lively character who kept us laughing the whole time! The food was fantastic! The Southern Bella omelette had fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, bacon and banana peppers and was awesome. The pancakes were the best I've ever had, so light and airy! The gravy biscuit was so delicious and savory, just like grandma would make!! I had the raspberry beret mimosa and it was excellent and even had fruit in it, not a drop was left! My husband had the Irish coffee and even ordered a second one because it was so great! I can't wait to go back again because there were so many options on the menu that I wanted to try! Stopped her for a late lunch and a mid-day mimosa. It's been awhile since we've been here and that was only for breakfast. Menu was a bit confusing for lunch. They were out of burgers and avocados - but you could swap out any "specialty" burger for chicken or a philly steak. We opted for the chicken sandwich that had a friend green tomatoe and Gruyere cheese. I also ordered a size of sausage gravy for my fries (I'm a sucker for homestuke gravy). Let me just say this sandwich was AMAZING... one of the best chicken sandwiches I ever had. I can't recall the name (it's not on their website menu), but I would definitely go back! Mimosa selection was huge - and very delicious! We tried the sampler and it was a nice variety! Today was my second visit and it was AMAZING! There was a wait so my mom and I played for home o free new back deck they built. We were having so much fun we forgot we were waiting. When I table was ready we can in and had the best waiter. I am mad at myself that I forgot his name but he was the waiter in the bar area. I'd take a pass on the French Kiss sandwich which is their version on a french dip. Two small sandwich pieces on french bread that is sliced too thick to eat. Meat was filet mignon but 4 ounces for $19 and not shaved, just chunks. Smoked gouda and au jus were good enough. Fries were very good. Awakened Bacon Biscuit Bottom was a hot mess but delicious.
