The restaurant is pretty small inside and they have a good sized patio. There's a lot of parking outside too. As for the food, we got their Egg Benedicts and it tasted to so good. I got the Classic Benedict and my husband got the Steak Benedict Bernaise They don't have a lot of choices with their Benedicts unlike their location in Brea. There's more toast here (hence, the name of the restaurant) so I think they focus on that more. We did try their House French toast (1/2 order) as well and our kids loved it. Loved their outdoor dining and they have plenty of umbrellas that they will move to protect your silky skin from those UV rays (aka the sun). Eggs Benedict are fireee. This is our favorite brunch place! Everything has been pretty good for the most part. Except the veggie omelette was a little lacking of flavor on our last visit this past weekend, asked for a side of cheese and some salsa and solved it. Cute little brunch place in a very unassuming center. Really enjoyed their selections of avocado toasts. Do wish the portions were bit more but the taste for my avocado toasts was light and creamy. Glad I paid extra for the shoulder bacon (which is similar to Canadian bacon) as it was not too salty and was a good balance to the creamy poach eggs and toasts. The chocolate pancakes was also delicious with the texture leaning more towards cake then pancake. Husband said it tasted more like a dessert when he finished the left over at home. We saw our food get dropped off at the wrong table and our server did not care to say anything as we continued to patiently wait and observe them take it back to the kitchen. It was not busy at all only three to four tables. No one even checked in on us. The other tables got their food way before us. Be aware that they do not offer take out on weekends. I had to dine in and order food to be served in take out box. While doing so, no one came to take order for 20minutes, I just had to sit in heat waiting. I understand that kitchen might get backed up and cause dine-in service to be slow hence the reason of them not offering take-outs but to be fair that's none of my business, I'll tip 20%, wait for a bit if that's needed and will not complain but for management to deny take-out seems like incompetent. Typical business that has issue with managements, the food is good, staff is always friendly but management always mess up the experience. Grumpy manager, cold food, and patio chairs that seem like you're in a kindergarten class waiting to speak to the teacher. The whole experience was unpleasant. The Eggs Benedict were cold and the hash brown it came with looked like the left overs from the bottom of a fry basket, not good at all. The Eggs Benedict that came with steak was also cold and those country fries were so sad tasting as well, as for the pieces of steak, for the price they charge you would think they would put actual pieces and not niblets. The toast with salmon, cucumber and avocado tasted off, I ate about half of it and just couldn't eat anymore. I was nauseous the rest of the day. The dish was just not good and finally the French toast.... come on it's FRENCH TOAST!! It was cold and the only thing good was the frosting! All the plates are nice to take pictures of but that's it. As for the restaurant, it does also need some TLC and a nice spruce with paint and patio furniture. Service was great. I had two servers that really spent their time making sure we had a great time and were very friendly. Also, ambiance is important to me and unfortunately their indoor space was a little "tired". Mainly it was due to crumpled decorations on the wall. Their patio could use a more permanent shade structure but it had pop up tents instead. These details feel more like laziness than cost concerns from the ownership side. I'd love to see them level up these aspects. As for food, I ordered their toast with salmon and was a little disappointed. The smoked salmon felt bland and unflavorful. Simple capers or sea salt could have been a nice touch to bring the flavor out. Also, for being on toast, the slice of bread was small. For charging $23 for an open faced toast, I would expect them to stock the larger bread slices. Not only was it less food but even plating presentation suffers when food is stacked up on a small slice rather spread on a wider slice. For the price of the meal ($20-35 per person with a drink) I was feeling like these other ambience, plating and flavor choices could be improved with very little effort, yet could make a huge impact. read more

We got The Perfect Avocado, House Benedict, Spanish omelette and the Classic French Toast with Strawberries. The french toast was good, and the Spanish omelette was seasoned perfectly. However, both the Perfect Avocado and House Benedict were not bad, but not great. The drinks were good. We tried the Mexican Mocha and the Flying Unicorn "Tea Lemonade". The Tea Lemonade was definitely sweet, but still delicious as a cold drink. What I do like about this place is that they will seat you pretty fast. They have both a small indoor seating area and a larger covered outdoor seating. They are dog friendly. The service is superb and food comes out very quickly. Ample parking nearby. I was seated right away with the menu. Based on what I'm seeing what customers are eating, this must be super good. I decided to try the classic bennedict (2 english muffins topped with hickey smoked shoulder bacon, poached eggs, and hollandaise). I don't think I had a bennedict before, but let me tell you, it's like having toast... with english muffins though. It's really good. Comes with one side which I opted for the toast. Service here was amazing. The employees here are amazing. Isabel was serving me. She has great personality and very friendly too.... Oh, and she love her job.
