Only kids make choices--adults get it all So we decided to hit Rodeo 72 Food Hall with 14 different restaurants so no one has to choose! We kicked things off with drinks, wow the SoCal outdoor vibes are 100% here Then it was Japanese curry time, this bento box did not disappoint. So good! Next stop Egg Bred My kid's favorite brunch spot is here too! First time seeing customizable spring rolls and Vietnamese bowls, such an amazing concept Of course we had to grab some ramen and onigiri to keep us warm Juicy chashu and those big onigiri, so satisfying! Almost full but not quite We went for pad thai and Thai tea at this super cute spot And don't forget you can also grab burgers or steak from the steakhouse here An extraordinary food tour all in one place IG: socalhkfoodies

I am definitely digging this place. Loving the vibe, huge outdoor dining area, roll up doors around the bar area so tv's with sporting events can be seen from the patio, and a great variety of dinging options. I have been here a couple times and tried various items from several different establishments. This spot is a great meeting point for friends. It has something for everyone. There is a breakfast spot, multiple asain cuisine options, a sports bar, dessert spots, a personal favorite in Blue Bowls, and much much more. The patio is dog friendly which made this an easy choice for meeting with friends who had their dog with them.

Food and fun Latin dance! Came here on a Saturday night with my dance friends for the " Cielo dance under the stars" salsa and bachata dance event and party. First visit. It reminds me of the Anaheim packing house where you can find different food stores under one roof sitting next to each other, that is, food court with a flare. The Latin dance class was free and followed by dance and mingle where you dance with strangers, and sweat and laugh! There is a bar facing the garden, AKA, the dance floor. Great place for families with children. It's strange to use the bathroom where you wash your hands and shares the sink with the gentleman you have just met dancing a minute ago, thus, a little bathroom chitchat. LOL! Btw, since it's located in a residential area with shopping plaza nearby, we were able to find parking rather easily. The Cielo dance event is ongoing, so put on your dance shoes, and see you every 2nd Saturday night!

Excellent food court, Grand Central Market style. Great date night experience. Because of the many options to choose from. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert, coffee, tea and more. We notice the restaurants tend to open and close often. You may find new options when you visit. The Capo Bar is the main attraction, great for enjoying a game on tv. There is also live entertainment maybe a singer or Dj depending on time and day. There is an out door seating area great for kids and pet friendly. Ample parking.

Nice little place in whittier. Only came to check it out since it has been on my list. A good amount of parking spots available. I ate prior to this and wanted to try some dessert but saw there weren't that many there that caught my eye. Overall there were a lot of people here at the end of the night even when it was raining this day. Would come back and try the food. Only tried the drinks at the bar they have here. Food are similar to the one in OC where there was a shootz and a prime cut.

Date of visit: January 17, 2026 Experience: My husband was excited to take me here to explore since he discovered this place late at night a few weeks back when I had a Yelp event nearby. He wasn't able to go in since they were closed, so now was his chance with me in tow to see what they had to offer. I was actually surprised how big it was inside since the outside of the building looked small to me. But inside they had a good variety of eateries covering different types of foods from various cultures ranging was Mexican to Vietnamese to Japanese to Italian. They even had a large outdoor seating area and alcoholic drink offerings. I was definitely overwhelmed with the amount of choices they had, but also wished they had more dessert choices/places that were dessert focused since most of the restaurants were focused on actual meals with a hint of dessert at a few of the places. They also offer plenty of indoor seating and indoor restrooms as well as free parking along side the building itself.

My partner and I originally came here looking for the restaurant shootz, but we had no idea It was a whole food hall! Place is really really bright, welcoming and has a lot of interesting places to dine at. I saw a Mexican food, Vietnamese food, Italian food, and a big bar right in the center! Everything looks fresh and delicious. It is definitely a place that I would love to come back again, and try a few more restaurants, or bring friends and family from out of town. A lot of tables for you to sit and dine, and free parking. Loved our experience.

Rodeo 72 is a relatively new food hall in Whittier wedged in a nice neighborhood across a new condominium. There are two entrances. The building exterior artwork gives an ambiance of community and plenty of parking around the building. There are over a dozen food stalls and at one end a bar anchored to a patio filled with dozens of picnic-style benches. The vendors offer a range of foods, including ramen, sweets, tacos, and hamburgers. There's sittings inside, as well. We tried the bar - great service by a friendly servers. The smashed burger with tallow fries were divine. Today, there was "draw and beer" event. Overall, a nice place to hang out with friends having access to good food and drinks.

Tons of beautiful little restaurants I can't wait to go back over and over again! This is a perfect place to go if everybody wants to eat something different and just meet in the middle five stars

Finally got the chance to visit this place and it was so beautiful! I've never seen any place with vibes this cool in this area. We got drinks from Capo and food from Kaprow and it was both good choices! I like how they had text messages or a buzzer to let you know your food was ready. Some sections of the place didn't have good ventilation though so it got hot in some parts. Other than that, it's a pretty decent spot to grab drinks and catch up with friends!

Free chicken from The Peruvian spot. Thank you!

This is an awesome spot especially for groups who have all different taste in food. I think food halls are always a good spot for people who can't decide what to eat there is usually Something for everyone. I was confused though cause I know this place closes at 10pm but some of the stalls closed early but do not have a closed sign on it. I wanted Thai food too! Boo! Anyway, I ended up trying the Peruvian place this time and they were so kind and gave us half a chicken for free! Awesome!!! Thank you!!! Downside was that the other food we ordered lacked flavor. Thankful shootz was there cause that never misses. This spot has live music which is awesome! And they did not kick us out! Haha we came around 9pm and we left before 11 so thank you rodeo! It's more relaxing here than the rodeo in garden grove. I def like it here and will be back

    Colin H.

Blue Bowl and Shootz are the only places inside that are worth trying. Other foods looked basic. Seems like a lot of the same places as the Rodeo 39. The bar inside was cool also but definitely needs more variety of foods.

Rodeo 72 is a new food hall (opened in May 2025) located in Whittier and is a part of Rodeo Public Market (Rodeo River Street, Rodeo 39, and Rodeo X). [Parking]: Not exactly an ideal parking situation. While the food hall has a private parking lot, I was not able to find an available spot even on a weekday visit during the dinner time period and I had to park at the adjacent lot at Stater Bros. Markets. [Atmosphere]: The food hall has a nice outdoor patio area and visitors are free to grab any available outdoor tables & watch sports games on TVs by Capo Public House (purchase not required when viewing at a distance). Dogs are welcome, but they must be outside on the patio and must remain on leash. [Vendors]: * Blue Bowl (acai bowls) * Capo Public House (beer, cocktails, and wine + TVs playing sports) * Double 3 (bubble waffle and ice cream) * Eatalian (Italian) * Eggbred (breakfast sandwiches - one of many locations in SoCal) * Karai Handroll Bar (hand-rolled sushi) * Kozan Teahouse (specialty tea beverages) * Krapow (Thai food - one of the more popular food options in the food hall) * Las Chelaguas (Agua Fresca) * Paper Rice (fast-casual Vietnamese cuisine - one of the more popular food options in the food hall) * Primal Cuts (steak) * Shootz (Hawaiian - all Rodeo Public Market locations have this vendor) * Starcones (loaded fries and stroopwafels) * The Basket Taco (tacos) * The Inka Spot (Peruvian food) [Conclusion]: Overall above-average on food options and this is a nice spot to watch sports, catch up with friends, or come here for a casual date. I am a fan of this food hall but do wish for a slightly larger parking lot.

Half a star off though for not having much open during the breakfast hours. We came on Friday, 4/25/2025, and there happened to be the outdoor Farmer's Market which took up the parking spaces, quarter star off. The Providence Bakehouse was open so we gladly went there to place our breakfast order. It would be nice though if there were more food stalls available for the breakfast hours. Another quarter star off for not having enough signage or a directory to indicate what food and drink establishments were available, something to read on display versus having to look it up on their website which also was lacking in information. Just enjoyed my second visit this week and the food and service is amazing. The food hall is nice so there's plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your food. Their kimchi butter that they're famous for is all the hype and more. I prefer their spicy option but the regular is good as well. The spice level isn't over the top but if you're a mild to non spicy person I would stick with the regular. Their mac salad is good but I'm a sucker for rice and I love that they have furikake as a topper over the rice, under the chicken and shrimp. Oh that's right, get the number 4! My Dad is no longer with us... he's been gone for almost 5 years now... miss you dearly and love you always Dad! Now I have taken over my Dad's place. I bring my Mom here all the time usually on Saturdays unless we have a prior arrangement with my brothers to eat elsewhere in the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) food galore hub LOL. Hey, my parents used to bring my 3 younger brothers and I out to SGV every weekend since the early 1980's until I started high school and that's when I went out with my parents less and less. We would ride in the back of my Dad's delivery truck (he had a furniture business)... man, those were the good fun old days! Now it's just my Mom and I in a Toyota Prius in the 21st century LOL! At the food court, there's actually a great variety of different ethnic foods. Here are my favorites... 1. For Vietnamese foods, Nuoc Mia Vien Dong is a wonderful choice... they offer 1 or 2 or 3 items plates for very reasonable prices and portions are huge! 2. For Chinese foods, Golden Bull Noodle is my go-to. They have the best and I mean BEST Hainan Chicken Rice... freshest and moistest chicken you'll ever eat! My Mom and I can eat this every weekend and not get bored of it... and we have done so on many occasions LOL. Black Pepper Beef or Chicken stir fry with thick egg noodles is excellent, too. 3. For Hong Kong Style Chinese foods, Harlem's Kitchen is your spot! Delicious wonton or dumpling egg noodle soup, beef chow fun, soy sauce chow mein, thousand egg pork/seafood congee, etc... you name it! They are always busy... that's a very good sign! 4. For Thai foods, your only choice is New Thai Star and that's all you need... just one good one! Pad See Ew Fried Tofu or Shrimp, Pad Woon Sen Seafood, Pad Thai Chicken, and Green Papaya Salad are my go-to dishes. Just great tasting foods all around. They have a very good Spicy Beef Bowl, but I don't eat beef anymore, but maybe I can ask them to replace it with seafood next time... we'll see. 5. For Vietnamese desserts and drinks, Hien Khanh is your gal! Their egg flan is the best of the best egg flan I have ever eaten in my life... so smooth and just perfect in texture & taste. Che Ba Mau has the freshest coconut milk plus your choice of up to 5 toppings. No one beats them in this category of desserts and drinks in SGV! They take home the trophy every time! Actually, you can't go wrong with any of the food vendors at this food court. I've tried them all... there are a few I prefer (above) over others (not mentioned above). Nevertheless, they are all good. It all boils down to what you want to eat at that moment... you have choices! Be grateful that you do. Happy Choosing! Besides the food court, I have shopped at the GW Supermarket for selective items. It's not my go-to supermarket at SGV, but it comes in handy whenever I need something quick and don't want to drive to San Gabriel Superstore. They also have shops inside and outside. I haven't checked out all their shops. Overall, it's a great shopping center. Parking can be a challenge though. They are always busy. Just be patient. We'll see you here next weekend LOL. I tried to enjoy it the way I usually do with new places, but the atmosphere felt unpredictable in a way that teenagers or young adults definitely wouldn't enjoy. As I walked around, I kept seeing groups of people arguing loudly or acting in ways that made the environment feel unstable, and it surprised me how often it happened. It wasn't just one moment -- it felt like something concerning was happening every time I turned a corner. What bothered me even more was how poorly monitored the mall seemed. There were areas with almost no staff or security around, which made the whole place feel even more unpredictable. Even the parking lot felt uncomfortable because of the lighting and the people wandering around who didn't seem to be there for shopping. Instead of feeling relaxed, I felt like I had to constantly watch my surroundings, which is the opposite of what a mall should make you feel. I really tried to give Stonewood Center a fair chance, but the longer I stayed, the more I realized I wasn't having any fun at all. I didn't feel safe, I didn't feel comfortable, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to teenagers or anyone who wants to enjoy their time without worrying about what might happen around them. I've lived for 24 years, and I've been to plenty of malls, but this was one of the few times where the environment itself felt like the problem. I only visited Stonewood Center once before writing this review, and honestly, that was enough. Because of how unsafe it felt, I'm giving it a 1‑star rating and hoping it improves so people can feel comfortable going there again.
