We waited at our table for 20min, no one came over to take a drink order, no one said they would be right over, we were not even acknowledge, other then the lady that sat us. This was our first visit and probably our last. They were dancing around having a good time another waiter was walking around drinking like he lost his marbles and didn't know right from left. Just over all bad experience. No professionalism at all. read more

Waited an hour to be seated, which normally would be fine if service and food is good. I had to go up front and ask for our waters to be refilled and to order more drinks because we were served our drinks and not checked on for a half hour. The mimosas were warm and the biscuits and gravy were cold. Waited an hour to finally be served our food, which was mediocre. I had to go up front to give them our check and card because our server dropped off the check and didn't come back. Not worth the time or money. read more

I really like this place - the service is great, the atmosphere is very modern. Not the normal boring breakfast stop. Try the peach mimosas, you will not be disappointed! read more

Went here for breakfast at 11 was quoted 30-45 minutes to be seated. We were still outside 2 hours later. We witnessed the hostess ask multiple waiters if they could take our party of 7 and all of them declined. When they finally seated us we were seated at a table that had been open the entire time we were waiting. After being seated we sat for over 30 minutes and no one had even brought silverware or greeted us or gotten a drink order. We got up and walked out and no one said a thing. Will not be going back. read more

The service was great, decor was cool and the food was just ok. It was expensive for basic.

Great place with a cool atmosphere! My server Casey was extremely welcoming and made my first experience a great one! The brunch menu was good too and had great options. Will definitely be coming back! read more

I have never been there yet but want to. I plan to go Mother's Day. I heard good things about you guys. I also hear about the long waits. Maybe reservations could help and boost the ratings!! . read more

Won't be going back. The food was greasy and flavorless. The service was ok but seemed to be stuggling with kitchen. Our food took 40 minutes to come out. The menu is large but lacks in plant based options. read more

Dirty. Ordered waffles took 1 hour. Ordered an iced Macha came no ice warm. The food was good just took so long we had finished our drinks long before food arrived. Order the bacon board and it was brought out with food. The area we were sitting gave us several views - walls were dirty-many staff were standing around and only a couple were hustling around. It's a great idea and could be cool- too bad it's already going down hill. read more

Let me preface by saying this: I've been twice before and it was great. Long wait which is to be expected for a busy brunch placed. So I planned a birthday brunch here, called a week prior to see if they accepted reservations, they said no, so we opted to come in early to get our names on the list. The wait was an hour and a half. The host was great, professional and kept me up to date. Once we got seated however, we were told all our ticket times would be delayed due to a 20 top reservation. I thought you didn't take reservations? Sure enough, the 20 top party strolled in without having to wait more than a few minutes. Again, host was great, appreciated the update but was confused by the policy. Our server was sub par, continued going on rants and made us feel like we were an inconvenience by being there when they had another large party. Service wasn't great, minus our host and food runners. Drinks were gross and warm and had been sitting in the well. Due to this experience we will not be returning. read more

This is not your typical breakfast restaurant. With that said, the menu is creative and the food is AMAZING! Despite being there on an extremely business day, the staff was great! Looking forward to our next visit! read more

Waited an hour and 15 minutes to be sat end up finding hair in our food employees seem to have attitude Like Junior High kids running the play overrated by all means atmosphere feels like a lunchroom in school read more

During my last visit, I debated heavily between the buttered toast and the peanut butter toast. Surprising even myself, I actually went for the cheesy toast in the end. Any true toast connoisseur knows that Toast 101 has it in the bag when it comes to their wide variety of toasts. Although the cheese could have been a little toastier, Toast 101 perfected the crunch, flavor, and aroma of toast yet again. read more

Upon arrival, we were told wait time would be 40 minutes. After 57 minutes, we were finally seated. Another 17 minutes passed before being first greeted by our server. We ordered right away, but then it was 70 minutes before our food arrived (not kidding). Apologies were offered throughout, and the place was clearly understaffed so I can't blame the waiter, but it doesn't repair a very bad experience. BTW, the food was very good, but not worth all the above. And, my promised refill of coffee never arrived. We won't be back. Sorry. read more

Our server was nice, wait is way too long, greeter (owner I think) was kinda rude. Food was good though & it's super nice in there!

Stopped in for breakfast during last week...great ambiance and the food was delicious and abundant...highly recommend...will return soon

The wait staff was nice, restaurant is really a great atmosphere, food was great and priced right. My order was incorrect the first time, and we didn't realize until we got home that I never received the fruit that is supposed to come with my meal in place of toast. We noticed the waiter did not write anything down. We definitely will go back, hopefully second time around will be a little bit better. read more

love this spot such a great place for family and friends to hang out. the staff is very friendly and cheerful

Amazing fresh food, so good! Show up early because the wait got long around 9:30am on a Sunday.

The breakfast quesadilla was really good. They have a wide selection of french toast! Service was FRIENDLY and quick for us on a busy Sunday. read more

Toast 101 was awesome, loved the atmosphere, employees were great, food was the best breakfast I have had. Great job Kalvin we drove 45 minutes to try it and loved it. I would wait in line an hour to eat here! read more

Some places are great with parties and some struggle with logistics. This place struggles with parties. We had a reservation for 10 people and when we got there the table was not cleared for our party to sit. We asked what's going on and they said the party wasn't moving. Lie #1:This wasn't true. The party was waiting for their checks. We complained that they weren't talking to them and they told us they would comp drinks. Lie #2: when we got our check the manager/ owner said it would be only a $5 off one bill. Said she was sorry for the confusion and said that was all she could do. With this kind of service there are better places you could have breakfast faster and better service. Manager/ owner was never around any of the staff and did not do much to help any table. Also saw every table embarrassed to be there with their party because there was a long wait and had issues. I would recommend Nook downtown, Cup Cafe, and Teaspoon. read more

We got there at 1130am and were quoted 25 to 30 minutes. We were finally seated after 40 minutes and it was at an empty table that we saw from the outside where NO ONE was sitting the whole time we were waiting. The excuse the manager and host gave was that they only had 1 host and they needed to seat other people first. I get that, but there were no other big parties like ours waiting. I just accepted my fate at this point. We were seated around 1210pm and at this point we were wondering if we should even stay. Our waiter was nice and polite and said he would try to put a rush on it. We ordered and finally got our food an HOUR later. This was rediculous and I should have left. The table to our right got up to complain that their food was taking to long and the table to our left had to complain about not being seated first when they were there longer than a different table. They also had to get the host to get them water because they weren't seen by a waiter yet. Then the table on the left got their food before the people that were there before them. It was a complete mess! The only thing to save this experience was the food. Please let the food be worth it. It was good but not worth waiting 1 1/2 hours to get!!! It looks like they put more time in placing the food instead of taking care of the customers... The check, finally!! We get our checks and I was charged for 3 kids drinks...that are included with the meal...when I told the host, I had to show him the kids menu where it said drinks included... The host and waiter took about another 15 minutes to try and fix this because they already charged my card. Needless to say, we won't be back. The manager didn't even come back to apologize or make sure we were doing ok, or offer anything for the inconvenience.. Actually I never saw him again in the 2 1/2 hours we were there! The host and waiter were doing the best they could. This restaurant won't last long unless they get more staff or a better process. read more

i never write reviews but this one hit different ngl so sad the food here is so good and our server was the sweetest but this was the most terrible service ever... we were sitting for an hour but got our orders taken right away about 4 other tables were seated after us & got their food before us. we finally get our food & it's cold like it was made & they didn't know which table it was for. not to mention the crowd had died down & so finally they remade it 15 mins later & we got it to go cause how annoying & nothing was prepared correctly just sad read more

This feels like a concept in search of a restaurant. The menu is fairly average for a breakfast place, and loaded with a ton of over sugared options. We opted for the breakfast burger and the chicken fried steak with a bacon board and coffees. The breakfast burger was underwhelming and under seasoned. I can best describe it as bland and flat. The chicken fried steak was okay but the gravy is short on flavor. The potatoes and the tater tots both came out warm (like slightly better than room temp). This is a breakfast place but spoons aren't part of the standard silverware wrap ( or at least brought out with coffee). The decor is confusing - I'm not sure which decade I'm supposed to be in and there's a weird blend of fake plants and industrial touches. The place is filthy when you actually look around at the floors and walls. Literally the only good thing was the service, which was exceptional. read more

The loaded tots were so good! I ordered a jalapeño bacon Bloody Mary which was pretty good, however, it didn't come with any bacon lime or olives. Told my server when he brought it out and I literally never got any. Just a bunch of apologies for the wait. I'm pretty sure they probably forgot the liquor in it too because I couldn't taste any. I can't believe they still charged me the full $10.99 for the incomplete Bloody Mary! At least charge me for one of the $9.99 bloody Mary's or something. That's bad customer service man. I was in there early so it's not liked they were slammed. Also, the classic waffle literally had 3 blueberries and 3 strawberry slices which equaled probably 2/3's of a whole strawberry. So for loaded tots, an incomplete Bloody Mary, and a whack basic waffle my total came out to $30.43! Way overpriced! Server was really cool and so was the host, but just bad overall customer experience. Wont be back. read more

Food and service was great, but the line cooks were obviously frustrated considering they had a STACK of orders sitting on the counter I mean like 20-40 plates at least, we even saw them switch food off a cold plate onto a warmer plate with their hands. We sat right by the counter and we're visibly seeing everything. You could read the frustration off the people who were doing their jobs, it was an hour wait outside, an hour wait inside to get food, and watch these plates literally stack and sit to not be served for 30+ minutes, we waited about an hour for our food to come out, that was most likely chillin on the counter. The waiter was good, he was nice, and kept busy but the ladies in the front of the kitchen weren't doing shit and when they were they were moving food to warm plates at such a slow pace. Personally it was kinda embarrassing to watch the food stack up and have the girls literally not trying to help whatsoever. It's great food such a shame to witness what we did. read more

waited over an hour for our food and the tater tots were cold, cheese left off the chicken sandwich, and bun was burnt on top from sitting under the warmer for at least 1/2 hour. asked the waitress and she said she is not allowed to get food from the warming area. the person in charge did nothing that we could see but shuffle plates around. very unorganized or we went on a bad day. read more

Really appreciated our server - she was very helpful at the start and had a great sense of humor. After we got our first round of drinks and breakfast board to start, I noticed larger parties were coming in and our server was helping them as well. The surge in larger parties coming in and the sections getting larger for the servers who hadn't been cut yet, i think may have resulted in our food order getting lost/forgotten at some point. I think we waited a good 30 minutes for our food and saw the tables around us who had gotten there after us get their food. And these were large parties. We got another round of drinks and then the food finally arrived, except one of the orders. So three of us had food and one didn't, and while we were waiting for that fourth plate, the table of 6 next to us got all of their food. I understand that places get busy, but at the same time, we didn't get a check in while waiting for our food, and seeing those around us getting orders first, knowing they came in far after we did and ordered far after, too. I got the vegetable hash. It was OK. Potatoes were crispy but cold. The vegetables had a nice season and were cooked nicely. Loved the tomatoes. The eggs, I ordered over medium, it was kind of overcooked, but also cold. I really enjoyed the mimosas. Not sure I will be back soon, but I enjoyed trying Toast101. read more

We waited about 40 mins on a Monday at 1:30. There were a significant number of open, socially distant tables. We were greeted within 6 seconds of sitting and inquired immediately about our drink order. The menus weren't even in front of us yet. We ordered a pickle Bloody Mary, a Bloody Mary flight, and a mimosa flight. Our drinks took approximately 40 mins to arrive to our table, and the mimosa flight sat on the bar for probably 15 minutes, but was eventually brought to the table as we waited for the bloody Mary's. The waitress wasn't particularly apologetic adding that the bartender never bartended before, as the normal bartender quit yesterday. We were halfway through our meals before we received our cocktails. Again, no apology. The pickle Bloody Mary was undrinkable and was left entirely full, with no management or waitress acknowledgement. The mimosa flight was all juice for $20, and the Bloody Mary flight was indiscernible, as they all tasted the same, just spicy. However, there was a frozen shrimp in one of the Bloody Mary samples; it was disgusting. One member in our group barely touched the chicken fried steak. The gravy was so thick you could lift the steak and the gravy didn't move, and did not appear made in house as stated. A box was never offered despite an entire meal on the plate. Additionally, the waffle hash browns were not on the plate, and when asked we were told they were sold out, but this information was not relayed. Nothing was bussed the entire time as plates just sat on the table until we left. We had to ask for more water, but the waitress was quick to ensure the check was on the table. She yelled across the room if we were on separate checks. It's also worth sharing that while watching the bar anticipating our drinks, a homeless man was observed stealing a check which was left on the bar. We kindly informed the staff what had happened, and the bartender ceased all duties as he processed with his staff for 10 minutes while we still waited for our drinks. No manager ever came to check on us. He was busy hugging and kissing who we presumed to be his significant other, who also worked there. We all had high hopes, and considered that its new and covid times. However, the service was horrid. I paid $37 for a meal and drink that immediately made me sick. Overall, it was a shitty experience and I would not recommend. read more
