I don't know where to start,,,, The food is delicious. The sandwich was awesome. The people that work there are totally nice and very down to earth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself kind of reminds me of going to someone's studio because of all the paintings that are on the wall. which are done by the owner himself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It just feels like a really cool place to just hang out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now Back to the the sandwiches I got the New Yorker and I have to be completely honest and say That was a good . I got the large because I was really hungry and it did not disappoint at all. Delicious. This is a Mom and Pop Spot . As some people would say a hidden jewel. They offer really good sandwiches. They have soda and chips. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Reminds me of that old school sandwich shop that used to be in my neighborhood that unfortunately closed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And like I always say if you're in the area and you want a really good sandwich you definitely have to try this place, It's totally worth it

TJs Subs is the true definition of a mom and pop sandwich shop - and inside, you will find some very nice, hardworking people behind the counter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of quiet seating, and a small area for kids to play. It feels like being at home, it really does.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sandwiches were under $10, with a combo add-on of chips and a fountain drink for just $1!! The food was fast and fresh. The soda machine tasted great, it tasted clean. They also offer soda cans. Today, we tried the Bonanza and the Italian Sandwiches, which were huge. The Bonanza started with a fresh hoagie sandwich bread, cheese, thick cut roast beef, ham and turkey. Their sandwiches can include mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, and yellow peppers - no added charge. This sandwich included avocado, too! Every ingredient tasted fresh. Check out my photos, the large was enough for me to take half a sandwich home for later! For $10... can't beat it!! I added the combo and grabbed some Doritos sweet n spicy chips. They had Funyuns, Lays, Ruffles, Kettle Cooked, Cheetos - and a quite a few more to choose from. We will absolutely be back, to show this awesome place some local love!

I finally made my way to try TJ's Subs! They're located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. It is a family owned and operated shop. The family greets you as you walk in. You walk towards the middle of the restaurant to place your order. They have plenty of options available. If you like avocado, they have a section of the menu that adds avocado to all the sandwiches under that section. I came during lunchtime, and I was impressed at how expeditious they were. Within 5 minutes, I had placed an order, paid, and received my lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have tables inside for you to eat along with couches. The atmosphere is cozy and homey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sub was yummy! The bread is very soft. The sub tastes fresh and flavorful. I liked that they put oil and vinegar on the sub to tie in all the flavors together. Overall, it was a great experience. This is definitely a good place to grab a quick bite and they have affordable prices!

Cute mom & pop shop, came here for the first time. Ordered a large Turkey Bacon Avocado Club Sub with chips & drink came out to $13. Reasonably priced, the sub was fresh & so delicious/filling (could only eat half). Service was quick & the owners are very friendly. Never have had tomato chunks in a sandwich. Not very tasty.

This place was good but they have room for improvement. Firstly I'd like to say that both I and my wife were happy with the way the food tasted. Classic sandwich, at a great price. I did have a few concerns... the bread I had was squished. Not sure how you miss that while preparing the sandwich..also the tomato was cut fairly thick in both the sandwiches I received, not sure how you miss that as-well but things happen. The 4 dollar up charge for bacon is a high for the quality, and they told me it's also an extra charge to toast the bread on the sandwich..never experienced that before, but was willing to pay since I know times are rough. They must've forgot to toast my bread but I was still charged. Honestly not the best experience I had but I'd give them another shot.

was looking for a sandwich place and read reviews about TJ's and thought I would give them a try. Unfortunately it was a sunday and they are closed. So today I found some time and went. It's kinda in a random area (west of the McDonalds - in this plaza) and the interior is even more random. It looks like one of those old school donut places but there's a couch and a bookshelf of books and etc. haha. pretty random. Menu is simple and easy to order. The small order is i think a 12" sub and the roast beef i got was only $5 including tax. pretty awesome considering that Quiznos or Subways I'd probably get a 6" for that price. If you want chips and a drink, it's $1 more. Now..for the food. I was surprised to say the least that it's pretty dang good. The bread is soft and the roast beef and toppings all tasted fresh. I think I'll be going back more often. Don't let the appearance fool you! It's all about the food and it's a pretty dang good sandwich place. read more

TJ subs is filling! You get a lot of food for the money and they were not stingy with any toppings. 6 pieces of bacon for crying out loud! The sandwich was so big I actually took toppings out so I could eat it. AND drink and chips are only $1 extra!! Amazing deal. So why 4 stars you ask? Well it's because the bread. I enjoy airy bread that's easy to eat (subway) this bread is heavy and filling. My mouth is actually hurting for chewing half my sandwich. That being said, I'll be back next week. And I still have half a sandwich, chips and a drink to enjoy in 30 minutes! Thanks guys! read more

TJ's is hands down the best place to get an amazing sandwich. Their bread is always fresh and I can't say enough good things about the quality of the food. I always get the BLT with everything and I swear there is like a half pound of bacon on that sandwich. Love the paintings all over the walls. This is our go to place in Glendora for $8.00 sub that cant be beat. read more

LOVE this place! The owners are so nice. The sandwiches are so good. We moved out of the area and try to get back here when we can. Oh man been coming here for over 20 years maybe close to 30. And its just like i always remember it. The owners hook it up. No joke they fill that sandwich and make sure you have a hard time driving home cuz your so stuffed. Great tasty subs you will not be disappointed. read more

Excellent sandwiches... bread is very soft. Very Fresh and very fast service. We got two large sandwiches (Turkey with Avocado)and two chips for $15. That's with Avocado and lots of meat and vegetables. I really recommend this place . Family owned and very sweet . Much much better than Subway or Jersey mike. read more

A great place for a quick grab and go. They serve delicious packed sub sandwiches and give a good amount of avocados all at a decent price! The walls are filled with wonderful artworks and photos. I have no problem with random furniture and overall decor. I actually find it very peaceful and homey. :) The owners are very sweet people. read more

They probably make the best subs around. The bread is really good. Its not soft and yeasty like subway and not overly hard and toasted like quiznos. All the items are fresh. The price is very cheap. Customer service is great. Family owned business. I would go there over every other sandwich place around!! Hours kinda vary and are not posted and they took some items off their menu. They use to have really good korean food there as well. But over all the best!!! read more

Good customer service but that's where it ends for me. I had the The Tj special poor quality of meats dry I could have asked for extra mayo so that's my fault, asked for avocado got 4 little slices no flavor the provolone cheese again poor quality it just wasn't good. Not a good variety of chips either or of better quality felt like I was in high school buying lunch cheap eats. Was really hopeful but congrats on all these years in business not easy being a business owner. read more

I love this place! There very small and covert i need to look for the pedestrian crosswalk light to make sure i don't miss the turn in. It is owned by this little Asian couple and ran by them and there daughters. But there isn't a day iv been in there that the mom and dad aren't behind that counter. There English is a little tight but that not what you come here for. The sandwiches are great, what makes this place so good is they are so close to a deli bakery and produce store that there stacks are always made of the freshest bread, juiciest meat and crisp new veggies. They give a great value to, 6 bucks gets you a foot long turkey cheese and avocado and one more dolor gets you a 16oz drink and small chip, at subway that's easily $8 not including the tax. Witch by the way they dont charge you for here, its almost always a flat 0 ending price. And sure you might not have all the variety in veggies and sauce you get at subway or quiznos , but they give you enough veggies to choose from and still be comfortable and they keep your other accoutrements simple. all and all i love this place, its great subs and value along with the really small and homey feel inside are the reason why i go out of my way almost everyday from school to home to get a sandwich there. white bread only 6inch and foot long. veggies: lettuce, tomato, pickle, pepperoncini, avocado, red onion. accoutrements: mayo, mustard, oil&vinegar, salt&pepper. ~aee369~ read more

Sandwiches were ok...Capri Deli is better! Ordered Bacon & Tomato sandwich as a combo. It came with Lettuce on it. Apparently it is too difficult to make a BLT hold the L Also the soda was watered way down. I don't recommend wasting your money here read more

Clean spot, good sandwiches, and sweet owners. Ate there and it was fresh inside and had a unique decor. The owners even went a little extra and gave my 3yr old one of his pictures that they have a plenty of on the wall. Had the the turkey avocado cheese sub and it was fulfilling loooooved the fresh bread. Thee boyfriend had the avocado ham and cheese n shared it with our son..no complaints. Will be returning. read more

2nd time coming and tried their special: turkey avocado. $6 total for a footlong comparable size to subway, but stuffed with the add ons! The bread was chewy so it may have been better if t was toasted. The owners are nice too. They saw my cup of water was leaking out of the cup, so I replaced it without me asking. This Korean small business is a great place for a fresh sub. I'm surprised it's not busy; I'm usually alone or one of two ppl there. COME TRY THIS PLACE PEOPLE!!! read more

Anyone know if they have bread options? I've only seen the hoagie style rolls in the pics and want to know if they offer anything else (rye, wheat, sourdough, etc). TIA!

I have never seen anything other then white rolls. They're very soft and real good.

Matthew said they are very conscientious if a customer is vegan or vegetarian to be mindful of their orders. I was completely blown away! Huge shout out to Mike, and the manager Matthew for the care that is so rare! I'll definitely be back more often.
