Dropped in to try TJ's Subs shortly after it opened. I have driven by here for years and never tried them so I wanted to give it a shot. You order at the counter and there's a lot of paintings set up all over the walls. It reminded me of school cafeteria. There's multiple different style of tables and booths and also sofa couches. Any sub order can be upgraded to a combo for only $1 more. That extra $1 gets you a bag of chips and drink. I opted for the regular sized "Bonanza" sub which included Avocado, Ham, Turkey, Roastbeef, Cheese. The sub was ready quickly. The size of it was pretty hefty and appetizing to look at. Not sure how you miss that while preparing the sandwich..also the tomato was cut fairly thick in both the sandwiches I received, not sure how you miss that as-well but things happen. The 4 dollar up charge for bacon is a high for the quality, and they told me it's also an extra charge to toast the bread on the sandwich..never experienced that before, but was willing to pay since I know times are rough.
