45. BLT with Egg Sandwich

Great sandwich. Sweet people and a homey ambiance. No frills just deliciousness in every bite. Every bacon lovers dream cause their is never a need to ask for double meat. The large was 14$ and easily split between two. Great portion and im as full as I can be. #subwaywho

Quiet seating area in TjS subs

TJs Subs is the true definition of a mom and pop sandwich shop - and inside, you will find some very nice, hardworking people behind the counter. Plenty of quiet seating, and a small area for kids to play. It feels like being at home, it really does. The sandwiches were under $10, with a combo add-on of chips and a fountain drink for just $1!! The food was fast and fresh. The soda machine tasted great, it tasted clean. They also offer soda cans. Today, we tried the Bonanza and the Italian Sandwiches, which were huge. The Bonanza started with a fresh hoagie sandwich bread, cheese, thick cut roast beef, ham and turkey. Their sandwiches can include mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, and yellow peppers - no added charge. This sandwich included avocado, too! Every ingredient tasted fresh. Check out my photos, the large was enough for me to take half a sandwich home for later! For $10... can't beat it!! I added the combo and grabbed some Doritos sweet n spicy chips. They had Funyuns, Lays, Ruffles, Kettle Cooked, Cheetos - and a quite a few more to choose from. We will absolutely be back, to show this awesome place some local love!

A mom and pop sandwich joint that is nothing fancy or extra. Just good sandwiches. Get it with bacon. They are not cheap on it.

I finally made my way to try TJ's Subs! They're located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. It is a family owned and operated shop. The family greets you as you walk in. You walk towards the middle of the restaurant to place your order. They have plenty of options available. If you like avocado, they have a section of the menu that adds avocado to all the sandwiches under that section. I came during lunchtime, and I was impressed at how expeditious they were. Within 5 minutes, I had placed an order, paid, and received my lunch. They have tables inside for you to eat along with couches. The atmosphere is cozy and homey. The sub was yummy! The bread is very soft. The sub tastes fresh and flavorful. I liked that they put oil and vinegar on the sub to tie in all the flavors together. Overall, it was a great experience. This is definitely a good place to grab a quick bite and they have affordable prices!

Large Turkey Bacon Avocado Club Sub $13 with chips & drink.

Cute mom & pop shop, came here for the first time. Ordered a large Turkey Bacon Avocado Club Sub with chips & drink came out to $13. Reasonably priced, the sub was fresh & so delicious/filling (could only eat half). Service was quick & the owners are very friendly. Love the interior, it's like traveling back in time. Will definitely be coming here more often!

Never have had tomato chunks in a sandwich. Not very tasty.

This place was good but they have room for improvement. Firstly I'd like to say that both I and my wife were happy with the way the food tasted. Classic sandwich, at a great price. I did have a few concerns... the bread I had was squished. Not sure how you miss that while preparing the sandwich..also the tomato was cut fairly thick in both the sandwiches I received, not sure how you miss that as-well but things happen. The 4 dollar up charge for bacon is a high for the quality, and they told me it's also an extra charge to toast the bread on the sandwich..never experienced that before, but was willing to pay since I know times are rough. They must've forgot to toast my bread but I was still charged. Honestly not the best experience I had but I'd give them another shot.

Amazing and delicious subs! They taste so organic and freshly made! The service is very quick! This is a mom and pops favorite spot! It looks very old school but believe me when I bring my kids to eat there they look forward because they feel like home. They love the subs and enjoy playing with toys they have for kids. Very inexpensive for the taste and BiG Subs! They manage to keep prices down because it's mom and pops and daughter doing them!

36. Turkey Bacon Sandwich Combo

I have been coming since 2016 and they never let me down. The sandwich was a cold cut but tasted good. I ordered the large but it was too big for me. Had to keep the other half. I made it a meal with just $1/$2 more. The chips and drink made the half a big meal for me. There were paintings on the wall. Water color and color pencils were used by the owner for the paintings. Ample parking space. Warm reception on entering the store. You can eat in and watch what's going on the street while eating or you can order food to go.

Turkey club with cheese

Very quick and good pricing. The inside is an interesting mix of couches and dining area. It's always been quick and efficient when I come in. I go with the turkey club with cheese. Classic club in a sun form and they load you up on bacon. I always get some jalapeño chips to add in but I don't think they had any. Still was good. Small parking lot but worth it if your in the area. People are quick and get you out soon.

Ask the Community - TJs Subs

Anyone know if they have bread options? I've only seen the hoagie style rolls in the pics and want to know if they offer anything else (rye, wheat, sourdough, etc). TIA!

I have never seen anything other then white rolls. They're very soft and real good.

Is this the same as the TJ's subs in La Puente? Same owner?

No.. the owner is different.

Once the service debacle was over, they returned to the delicious food and service to my table was good. The dining tables need some work. They are all unlevel and wobble horribly. The pastrami was nowhere near as flavorful as I remember from other locations, and the chili cheese fries were especially disappointing. The restroom was also pretty messy, which stood out enough that even my son kept asking why it was so dirty. As soon as you enter the restaurant, all their baked good items on the display case is so mouth watering and enticing. My favorite baked good items are their coffee cakes, danishes, muffins, sourdough bread, and all the cookies. NOTE: Their in house sourdough bread is not only to die for, but sells out what feels like within minutes of them opening up on the weekends. That's how delicious their bread is. Another baked good that I consider to die for is their lemon pistachio olive oil cake that's placed by the register. The cake is moist and there's a good lemon flavor with a crunch of pistachio with every bite. Every time I'm in downtown Glendora whether it's for a stroll or an errand, Crust & Crumble is always my pit stop. The breakfast & lunch menu is also excellent and they use their in house sourdough for all the sandwiches. The Crusty, Jalapeno Honey, Italian, and BLTA are my favorites. I'm looking forward to trying all the sandwiches and breakfast offerings in my future trips. I've only tried the cold brew here and I can say they use some good quality beans. The restaurant is long and small and can only fit about 2 people width wise as there are 3-4 tables that can seat 2 people per table inside. They do have outdoor seating available. Restaurant is clean and I believe there isn't a bathroom for the public. During the weekdays, you would be able to order and get your food pretty quick. However, on the weekends, expect the line to be out the door due to it being small plus the weekend crowd. Most of the items on the breakfast & lunch menu will take a minimum of 20 minutes during the weekends. I've always had excellent customer service with the staff on every visit. The amount of buffalo sauce, pickles, and Dijon mustard was perfect - flavorful and bold without being overbearing. The portion size was great too. It was filling, I could easily save half for later.
