Amazing quality and value, large menu, something for everyone. I went here 2 days in a row for lunch was loving it, food is fresh, filling, overall excellent. Service is fast, you won't be waiting long for your sandwich. The decor is odd, in a comforting way, it's like a home if it had a big counter and benches with an area for children off to the side. There's a tv, some couches and a few bench style tables to sit 2 people. There's childrens art taped up which is cute but lots of colorings of Jesus which I found a little odd. TJs is a legend. I'm craving the turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich as I write this. My mouth is salivating. You might be thinking the sandwich has simple ingredients, but they just magically work. Trust me on this. The bread is spongy, yet holds up and has a clean fresh taste. The avocados are the most flavorful avocados I've eaten and sliced to perfection. And the star of the sandwich is the bacon! Everyone loves bacon, but if you order bacon anywhere else as a sandwich topping, it's most likely already cooked sitting on a pile, but this bacon is freshly deep fried and comes on the sandwich with those fry bubbles. It's a beautiful image. Don't let the interior get to you. Painters paint and I can see how truly gifted the owner is showcasing his craft for his customers to see. If you order the tuna sandwich beware that it is not like all the other tuna subs out there. First they do not use albacore tuna. But what was most unusual is that it's just tuna placed on the bread . No Mayo or seasonings at all! Imagine taking a can of Chicken of the Sea and draining the water and just dumping the can on the bread and then put lettuce on top. I've never had a tuna sub like this . It was not tasty at all and I had to throw it away. So the other sandwiches may be delicious just don't order the tuna unless you like it this way. read more

I have lived in Glendora off of Arrow Highway for over 50 years. I am about a 2-3 minute drive from tjs sub. Everytime I passed by the place I'd say to myself I have got to try that place. They have been there so long they must be doing something right. The prices are very good for a sandwich with avocado in it. I finally tried it after 10 years. 5 years ago I went there to buy myself a sandwich. I told the man there I needed 6 more sandwiches for workers at my house. He said thank you very much.
