I've been going here off on on for a little over 10 years now and almost everyday for lunch for the past few years. I agree with the last reviewer about the Roast Beef, Ham, Turkey an cheese, it's the only sandwich I ever order and it's delicious. I've had other sandwiches which are good as well but that one is my favorite. The bread is always just a bit warm and fresh and the price? Where else can you get a footlong with everything, chips and a drink with one refill for $7?! Not Subway or Togos, that's for damn sure. Plus these taste way better. It's had several owners over the years but the Asian couple who have it now are really nice. He takes the orders, she prepares the sandwiches and their daughter cuts the meat when she's there part time. You should definitely check them out when in the area. read more

If you're looking for a $5-6 basic sub that is an alternative to Subway, this is your place. TJ's is anything but a fancy deli, but their sandwiches are filling and yummy with a homemade kinda feel. Ingredients are fresh. read more

Bar- non THE best sandwiches I have ever had. Bread so soft, like fresh soft, meats so mouthwatering and cheese so delicious yet it is all very simple. Very stright foward. One time, I had a bad sandwich here. It was a 1 in a who knows how many chance so I chalked it up to an accident. Months later, I return, he remembered and gave me a new sandwich and apologized. Serious. That is some damn good service. Eat here and never regret it, friends! read more

Just had me an Avocado Turkey sandwich for $5.00!! It was delish. You can add a bag of chips and a small soda for $1 but im on a diet, lol. The bread is soft and everything looked and tasted fresh. You need to try it. Woot Woot read more

Everything about this place I love. The sandwiches are so good and filling. I gave it a 5 because the owner of this deli always welcomes me with a smile and he's so humbling when I boast about his paintings. i took my boyfriend and mom here after reading the reviews. i thought the sandwiches were good. i ordered a cheese and avocado sandwich. it had plenty of avocado. the staff was friendly but quiet. it's a small place but i prefer it that way. if i'm close by and hungry, i would stop by again. read more

I come here for just lazy day when I don't want to cook. They used to do only lunch but now they stay till 7pm. The vegetables and the meat are fresh. I like the owners because they are very nice and friendly. The young lady who plays the piano is pretty funny lol. Overall, the place is clean. read more

Like others have noted these sandwiches are good! I really like the bread, it's fresh and not too "bready". The meats/cheeses are fresh and you can choose avocado too. I've been coming here for years. When I'm going to be in the area I make it a point to stop here. 3 Pages of reviews and 1 bad one, what does that tell you. That poor girl who did complain, must have hit them on a bad day cause their bread is fresh every day and as for avocado, it doesn't belong on a sandwich in the first place. If your looking for dinning with ambiance, naw, not this place. If your looking for entertainment, nope, the owners hardly speak English and are very introverted. Now if you're looking for a great sandwich at an unbelievable price, you found it. Been going here for 20 years even with different owners and they never fail to fill my expectations and I have the absolute worse luck with restaurants. The bread is always soft and fresh, and the veggies as well. No pre-measured amounts of meat and cheese, as it's always stuffed. But the best part though, is the price, anything close at Subway is $10.00, and $15.00 at Jerky Mike's opps. $6.00 for a 12" sandwich a 20 oz drink and a bag of chips. Tell me where you can get any meal for that amount and be full, you can't even get out of McDonalds for less than $8.00 now days.
