    Asada Tostadas and shrimp taco
    Lindsay G.

This is a cute little spot for breakfast burritos or a quick lunch break if you're in the area. The food is made fresh and served fast, with large portions. I'm a big eater and made the mistake (or blessing) of ordering two things on the menu..and yes, I finished it all, but I was stuffed! Definitely worth your buck. I came on a weekday hoping to try their ceviche, but it's only available on Sundays. So instead, I ordered the shrimp tacos and an asada tostada, both were so good! Next time, I'll probably re-order the tostada; it reminds me of home. They offer mild or spicy salsa on the side.. of course I went for spicy (because that's the only way to go), and yes, it's actually spicy! There's only outdoor seating, and it's pretty limited, so it's more of a take-out spot. Also, Just a heads up: they only take cash, Zelle, or Cash App.

    Closed, again.

I've tried to eat here four times. One of the four times there was no parking anywhere within walking distance. I drove around for 15mins before giving up. The other three times, they were not open even though it was during their posted business hours. I'm giving up. I heard this spot has seriously good breakfast. Such a bummer.

Service was great! I was immediately greeted by the young lady and young man working. I ordered a chorizo and bacon breakfast burrito with sour cream for - $14.00 ! Burrito was huge, tasty and they weren't skimpy on anything! Nothing special about the ambiance, the restaurant is more like a deli only a counter, refrigerator with drinks and the kitchen. Nice clean tables and chairs are outside.

BEST breakfast burrito in Long Beach, and I mean that with my whole heart. I have lived here for 5 years and just tried this place for the first time... $12 for a GIANT burrito -- I split it with my girlfriend and we added cheese and sour cream so it was $14 and worth every penny.

*** Cash only but accept Zelle or Cash app *** Tito's Restaurant is one of local neighborhood Mexican take-out only eateries located near The 4th Street Corridor (aka Retro Row) in Long Beach. This burrito shop has a surprisingly active Instagram page. [Parking]: Street parking only and parking can be next to impossible even if visitors come as early as shop opening time. I did manage to find one street parking spot about one block away (Orange Ave). [Amenities]: There are only two small outdoor patio tables with no indoor seating. No public restroom. [Menu]: This shop is known for breakfast burrito with different protein options including no meat, chorizo (popular option), ham, bacon, sausage, and shredded beef. Other options include chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, quesadillas, tostadas, tacos, spoes, mulitas, and regular burritos. I just tell the staff I want *** insert protein *** burrito with everything. On sunday they offer ceviche menu. *** Asada burrito (eggs, beans, potato, onion, cilantro, hot sauce - $10 with addition $1 add on for cheese, sour cream, avocado): Classic bean and egg burrito and the size is HUGE with enough for two separate meals. Unfortunately flavor profile was alright and mild salsa was also mediocre. *** A great spot for anyone who looking for a budget friendly burrito that can (1) fill your stomach and (2) doesn't taste too bad, but there are better breakfast burrito options in Long Beach for those who are willing to pay few additional bucks.

That's a damn fine breakfast burrito! Stiff competition for breakfast burritos in this area, but this one definitely rises above. I was skeptical about all the hype, but this burrito delivers. Only $10! What a value! It's larger than a dollar bill in length and width and even half of it filled up an entire glass lock container. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito meat option, and it was very good. There's great spice level in the burrito itself and the spicy salsa is actually spicy. I can tolerate a good amount of spice so I'm always disappointed when the "hot" sauce isn't that hot. The burrito is filled to the brim with eggs, cheese, potatoes, chorizo, onion, cilantro and beans. Sometimes beans and potatoes can be used as a filler to add less eggs and meat, but not here. They are just a little accent and the beans just barely smear the tortilla like a condiment, so they don't overpower the rest of the ingredients and it adds in a wonderful flavor to the overall mix in the burrito. Staff was nice and friendly and there was no line. I hope to come back and try the ceviche, tortas, and some of the other menu items.

This little gem of a spot feels like a home away from home. Very clean with outdoor seating! Family-run and full of heart, the food is rich with flavor! Great customer service, very friendly and welcoming! Would definitely come back! 10/10

These are the best breakfast burritos in LBC!! I'm dead serious! These burritos are HUGE for the price you pay!! They're packed full of eggs, potstoes, and beans. I probably could have used a little more chorizo in my burrito, but I'm not complaining because it truly is so good! I got my coworker the shredded beef one and she agreed, SO GOOD! Yes, the parking is not great. But it's totally worth it. Look how massive this thing is even after I took like 4 bites! Just an fyi, they only accept cash, cash app, or Zelle.

Breakfast burrito with meat, eggs avocado cheese and sour cream. HUGE (top of cell for scale) GO!

No fuss. Happy staff. EXCELLENT Breakfast burrito. One fed the two of us 2x in one day. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I was highly unimpressed with my breakfast burrito from here. The chorizo was very mild with not much flavor and the rest of the burrito had no flavor. It was left up to the salsa to add flavor. I'm not writing this place completely off. I will return and try something else at a later date and update my review then. However, a plus is that the burritos are HUGE! (see pic)

Ask the Community - Tito's Restaurant

Is the bakery back up and running?

Yes, I believe that they were back in the ending of 2021.

Do they have any vegan options?

    Yes

When are they opening again? It's been FOREVER. I'm starting to value Leo's breakfast burritos over Tito's anyways

They are back open and better than ever

    Why are they closed?

The sign in the door says that they're remodeling, with no reopening date listed. I hope it's soon.

Does this place actually sell pan dulce?

They are not selling pan dulce me at this time.

I doctored mine up with slices of Cheezewhiz and salted egg at home. I think the names of the pastries are deceiving because they lack the actual flavor that they're named after. Stopped coming because I felt like I was just paying $20 per visit for something sweet that didn't have depth in flavors. Also, after reading the clap backs from the owner on IG/Yelp reviews towards other patrons, it has turned me off and made me more hesitant to support her business. There are also three tables outside that seat four, four, and two for a maximum of ten. The place fills up fast, but empties just as quick. And their baked goods go quick, so grab them while you can! I ordered the Cuban Empanada as an appetizer. The savory rice and bean filling was a perfect compliment to the sweet ripe plantain filling and hint of sweetness in the dough. They are baked and the dough is thick and chewy, so if you're not a fan of that type of Empanada, be warned... I ordered the Cuban Sandwich as the main course. It was DELICIOUS and I would recommend it to everyone! If you're a purist, like a few of my friends and family though, be warned. Their take on the Cuban is made with Ciabatta not Cuban Bread, Mozzarella not Swiss, and is toasted not pressed... I ordered a Vanilla & Dulce De Leche Cookie for Dessert. It was AMAZING! Soft chewy on the inside, a little crunch on the outside. The taste of a sugar cookie with little sugar bombs of Dulce De Leche throughout. Perfect. And I washed it all down with a Tres Leches Latte (Hot). It was DIVINE! Very much on the sweet side, which I absolutely enjoyed to the last drop. But, if you do not like it too sweet, you can ask them to lower the sweetness level. Also, they will give you an option of dairy milk (2%), almond milk, or oat milk when you order. It was our first time here, so we wanted to try all the flavors! We got the beef, chicken, BBQ pork, Cuban, chicken curry, veggie, and ropa vieja empanadas. I LOVE the crispy exterior of the empanadas, although interestingly, the first bites always tasted slightly salty. The fillings all had decent flavor, but none of them were outstanding or impressed me enough to want more. I will say, the green salsa they included with the order SIGNIFICANTLY improved the taste and experience of the empanadas. By itself, I'd rate the empanadas 3/5, but with the salsa, it definitely goes up to at least 4/5. But I dislike that the empanadas can't hold their own without the addition of the salsa. The shop is located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking. I think there were a few tables outside to enjoy the food, but not much seating otherwise. The girl at the counter seemed sweet and helpful and immediately greeted us when we came into the store. While the empanadas here aren't for me, it does seem like many people like them!

Came in with a small group early on a Wednesday afternoon maybe an hour before closing, and most of the tables were still filled with diners. We were seated right away in the way way back of the restaurant. The layout and decor of the place gives it a classic, borderline kitschy vibe. I got the quiche of the day, which was ham and cheese, and it was amazing. I would definitely get this special again, and look forward to trying their other versions of both quiches and muffins.
