    Didn't turn up! I was scheduled for a move on Oct 3 at 12 noon. Got a confirmation from Logan Sep 21, and then again on Oct 1. On Oct 3 morning, I confirmed with him again. I was told he had a job until 12, so he might reach my place around 1pm. He stopped answering texts/calls after 1pm, and I didn't hear back from him again Looking at all the other positive reviews, I am guessing they provide great service when they do turn up, but there's a chance they might not come

    I don't like writing negative reviews but after two emails directly to the business with no reply, I feel the need to share. The crew was supposed arrive at my apartment between 9-10am. Around 10:30am, there was still no one to be found so I called to ask if there was a delay. I was then told the crew had called in sick. I was offered another crew to come out, but not until 3pm because they were currently at another job. Since I absolutely had to move that day, I accepted their offer. The crew arrived at 4:30pm, 1.5 hours later than the quoted time, but it was understandable with Friday Bay Bridge traffic, plus they did text me that they were running late. When Ty and team arrived, they were nice and professional but seem tired. They started right away moving my boxes. I made sure everything was packed and stacked, ready to go. (I've moved a few times over the last ten years) About two hours in, I was told that they needed to make a trip to my new place and come back for the rest of my things after because it wouldn't fit in the truck because they didn't pack it tightly as they could. I wasn't happy but figured my new place was only a little 0.7 miles away, so it should be pretty quick (it wasn't). They also couldn't take apart my bed because they didn't have the right tool, they had four or five tools, but didn't have a long nose plier. I had to ask a friend to come and help with that, which was not convenient. They unloaded the first round of items into my garage and went back for the rest of my furniture and boxes. Upon our return, I noticed 2 pieces of wood under the stairwell. It was a piece from my dresser that they moved earlier - it broke off when they were taking it down the stairs. When I brought it to their attention, I was told they could tape it back for me. I was a bit shocked to hear that because that's not a fix. By now, it was dark and it started sprinkling, my furniture and remaining boxes were all wet during this second round move. When we returned to my new place, Ty asked if they can unload the rest of my things into my garage and have another crew come back in the morning to move them upstairs because the team was exhausted. I was then told I was their THIRD job of the day. No wonder they were exhausted, slow moving and not very coordinated. I felt so bad for them but there was absolutely no way everything from my 2bd/1ba apartment would fit into my garage, plus that's not the service I was expecting or paying for. As a compromise, I asked him to move my furniture and a few heavy items upstairs and leave everything else in my garage, because I knew they were completely exhausted (and dropping boxes vs carefully putting them down - I watched my clearly labeled Fragile box with my lamp inside be dropped heavily. I told the mover that he just dropped my fragile box, he said "oh, sorry" and carried on. My lamp broke, along with a couple of dishes) but mainly because it was close to the 6 hour mark and I just couldn't afford to pay for another 2 more hours to move all of my things upstairs. I was referred to this business by a good friend who had an excellent experience. Based on the positive reviews on yelp, and the quick reply I received, I was feeling good with my decision to use their service. Clearly, it didn't turn out the way I expected. I'm still very disappointed. I was quoted 3.5 -5.5 hours to move a 2bd apartment, which included placing everything where it belonged in my new unit. Instead, I received a crew who was exhausted, which is probably why it took them so much longer to move my things, they had to make multiple trips which added more time to the move itself, broke furniture and a lamp and left 2/3 of my boxes in my garage. As much as I appreciated Ty and his team for wrapping my furniture/TV and being as cordial as possible through their fatigue, I paid for 6 hours of time, almost $1000, for a move that did not meet my expectations nor was what this company advertises. I feel ripped off and taken advantage of. At the least, I expect to be reimbursed for the broken items as well as get some money back due to the inadequate service. Huge disappointment!

Owner/supervisor Nancy came to out house to see, a surprise! Their moving truck was clean. Moved items from house and storage facility. They padded and plastic wrapped bigger items like sofa, dresser, desk, etc. They are efficient and know their stuff - what would've taken me and my family 3-4 hours to move they finished in 30 minutes! Nothing broken, nothing damaged. Payment: $200 cash tip each. $2,100 final payment via Cash App. Reliable, efficient movers, would use them again!

What I encountered was end-to-end excellence, from customer service to their excellent moving team. I knew our move would be a large one, so I booked a 26' truck and five-person crew. As the day of the move approached, I had lots of last-minute worries and questions and Sam, in Customer Service, answered every one and generally calmed my nerves, assuring me my move team would assist if we needed last-minute help. On the day of the move, the team arrived right on time. The foreman, Guillermo, assessed our situation and calmly confirmed my suspicious that we'd need two trucks (this my error, not OnTrack's). Before I could panic, he had contacted his team and we arranged that ours be a two day move. Guillermo's team wrapped our furniture and had the truck loaded swiftly. At the new house, we had a few of our family help direct traffic. I'd labelled every box with a color-coded room label and the team got everything to the proper room. On day two, Sammy -- part of the original crew -- acted as lead and we repeated the process. Here, a number of items still needed a bit of packing and his team had everything done in record time and -- bless them - marked the boxes for the proper room destinations without prompting. Below is a reply and here is my response: The information about the fuel fee was presented to be based on a percentage of the total move time. Not your actual cost, which I would have been okay with. I'm not asking for anything to be waived, just transparency. Your remarks about your family are completely out of line. It's clear you want to change the subject from your questionable practice and make this personal. It is not personal. I don't know you other than how you have presented your business here. Very Questionably. I see you removed your statements about your family business. I provided the law that it appears you are not following in a private message. Adam was great explaining all the details during the booking process and what we could expect on our moving days. Fast forward to the day and our moving team showed up on time and ready to go. We booked full packing services and the guys jumped right in and got going on packing everything in a super professional manner. Our belongings were packing with a lot of care into boxes and furniture wrapped super well to prepare for a few months of storage and then a long distance move. The guys really went above and beyond to pack our pods really efficiently and maximized every bit of space. With that said we didn't end up having enough room so we scrambled and Adam made a storage and moving solution work for us for what we had remaining. It was a relief to have a versatile company step up and help with what could have been a huge problem for us. They provided an estimate with an upper maximum limit that we were comfortable with. Arrangements were made via email and over the phone, and the office staff were always courteous and responsive. We needed to get the things moved within a few weeks and they were willing and able to come based on our schedule. The team of four were on time and they were incredibly agile and strong. On moving day we received text updates on their arrival time. The team communicated and worked well with each other. They were fastidious about keeping track of their time, which we appreciated. For example, they stopped for lunch and deducted their time from the total. The movers were extremely careful and I was amazed at how efficient they were. They wrapped and boxed up items carefully so that nothing would be damaged. I was impressed watching them in action. A piano and pool table were included in the move and they had to navigate a few steps for these heavy items. Lots of heavy woodworking equipment was also moved and they placed it in the destination workshop in an organized fashion. Because of this, my husband and I knew that hiring a moving company would be non-negotiable. After researching and talking to close friends who used various companies, we decided to confirm with Careful Movers. They are not the cheapest, but they by far exceeded our expectations during our move. Starting with my inquiry, Mat, our Moving Consultant, was quick to respond and very patient in answering all my questions. Securing our moving date and processing our deposit were smooth processes. Leading up to our move date, Shenna called and emailed with reminders for any last-minute tasks and collected information so our moving team knew exactly what we needed on the date. On moving day, we had a crew of 3 movers: Enrique, Ismael, and Jose/Luis. They were punctual and arrived at our apartment right on time to get started on our move. After walking them through our apartment, discussing expectations, and signing the agreement, they went to work. This team was quick, and I mean QUICK, to disassemble and pack the truck. However, this does not mean they were sloppy by any means. Everything from our baby's furniture to our 75-inch TV was packed with the utmost care. Despite the rain, all of our belongings arrived safely at our new rental and were reassembled exactly as we asked. My husband and I are extremely happy with the services provided by this team and Careful Movers. We wouldn't hesitate to schedule with them again or refer them!
