We had our move from north Cal (San Jose) to south Cal (Lake Forest) done by Tip Top at the end of September, almost 3 months ago. All went well, pretty efficient and right on schedule. The initial contact, consulting on the details of the move and setting up schedule with Jacob was very good; all concerns, questions were explained clearly. Jacob was very responsive and very accommodating to our preferred moving date. Since we preferred to pack household stuffs ourself into boxes days before, our boxes are all ready on the moving date. Moving cost is a flat rate with all wrapping material covered, no add on charge, took about 2 hours for loading boxes and furnitures. Moving cost is fair, a bit lower than couple other companies we contacted. 2 guys assigned on the move, Mike and Alex, were very prompt and worked fast on the loading/unloading days. To avoid the late delivery, we preferred and ordered the delivery (unloading and setting up/installing furniture) on the next morning. Since they stay overnight in South Cal, the 2 guys was a bit hurry in getting back after the delivery. Anyway, everything turns out good, no big issues. We highly recommend Tip Top Movers for your moving need, very trust worthy! read more

This is my second time moving with Tip Top Movers and the experience was great again! They are really no frills, quickly responsive, hardworking, and have a great attitude :) Jacob returns calls quickly for inquiries, and I've scheduled my moves very close to the date (less than a week) and they have immediate availabilities. The movers come right on time, and have all the necessary equipment. Volodymyr even tightened the screws on my wobbly desk because it bothered me! A 2bd plus living room move took around 5 hours total for a 2 person team. We had a pretty messy house going with dogs running around but they were very sweet and worked swiftly. It's a flat $115/hr with cash, and no hidden fees or other random charges. They don't charge for drive time if it's under 10 min away. Thank you guys for making a stressful process much more bearable! read more

Great work, fair price! Nothing was broken or scratched! They were able to carry a giant bookcase up five stairs without disassembling. Also, they were able to fit my sofa into the elevator. How did they do it? Idk. They put my bed together quickly and replaced a lost screw. Good as new! They were swift and moved my entire one bedroom/bathroom apartment in two hours. Communicative and relative. Highly recommend! read more

Jacob and his teammate (I forgot his name sorry ) were amazing in helping me move from San Mateo to the city. I had a lot of stuff and have some precious cargo (big heavy mirror, wooden standing shelf, large standing closet rack) and they handled everything with care. I also had weird stairs in the place I was moving out of and they were able to take everything down carefully and successfully! I was very comfortable with them moving all my things, which was a huge relief for me. Communication was also great from both of them!! I definitely will use them for any future moves and encourage anyone else to do so read more

Jacob & his team literally save the day when the moving company we hired didn't show up. They were at our house in less than an hour and were super professional and easy to work with. 10/10 highly recommend! read more

We recently moved about an hour and a half away. The move ended up being on one of the hottest days of the year! The movers showed up on time, they were professional, friendly and efficient. The movers did a great job wrapping everything and making sure it was packed well in the truck. I was a bit worried about our TV, but it arrived without any marks or evidence of rubbing anything. We would for sure recommend them for anybody considering hiring movers. read more

Jacob was super easy to work with, as were the foremen Nick and Rostyk who came to move. They were quick and efficient, and also great with my pet dog and cat. Tip Top Movers is especially great value if you have junk to remove - they charge a flat fee of $70 which is a much better deal compared to what other moving companies were quoting. I would work with them again in a heartbeat! read more

He came to my place to give me an accurate estimate and he mentioned it would take 8-9 hours for two movers and 6-7 hours for three movers. I went with three-mover option to speed up the process. However, it took almost 12 hours to finish the work. I understand that estimates could be a bit off but not 100% especially because he came and physically checked the amount of stuff I had. I really felt like they were stretching the work too much. For example, his team came with manual tool set for disassembling furniture, which is very inefficient. This is a simple example of why it took way longer than they estimated. The furniture wasn't assembled properly either. I won't hire them again or won't recommend to others. read more

Jacob and his team were amazing! Super efficient and friendly! They went above and beyond, even asking if I needed furniture moved around after it was all in, AND offering to mount my television! Highly recommend! read more

10/10 would recommend and will use again. Jacob was professional, kind and super responsive right from the initial conversation, and he and his team were efficient, courteous and took great care of my things. I had a lot of large, valuable furniture and this is the first time in *any* move that not one single thing got damaged. I've had way more expensive, "full service" movers break multiple things! I truly cannot say enough about the great value and incredible job they did. Thank you, Jacob and team! read more

This company was easy to work with and Jacob was very responsive from the get go. They had the most affordable prices compared to what I was quoted by several other moving companies on Yelp. My final total on moving day wasn't too far off from the quote. Movers were on time, quick, and efficient. I was pleased by what good spirits the movers remained in all day, even though our pack and move all in one day took over 10 hours. I would absolutely recommend this company and will consider using them again in the future. read more

I used Tip Top Movers for the first time last week for local move of a 1 bedroom apartment. Throughout the entire process they were very communicative and responsive, their team showed up right on the dot at the beginning of their scheduled arrival time and got right down to work! I was particularly impressed by how well they wrap and protect furniture items, it was the most secure and thorough job I think I've seen from any movers I've hired! After my move was complete, I did come to find that an important screw for my TV mount apparently got lost in the shuffle of the move, so I contacted them back to let them know and they actually reimbursed almost the full cost of the new mount I purchased - no hassle or questions asked! From beginning to end, it was a great customer service experience and I'd certainly trust putting my future moves in their hands. :) read more

Excellent service from Tip Top Movers! They were very well-organized, punctual, and took great care of my personal items. The overall cost was very fair considering the amount of work involved for the move as well. I would highly recommend them! read more

This was my first time using a moving company from yelp. I didn't quite know what to expect. From my initial conversation with them I knew I could trust them and they were going to be reliable. They are a no frills company and what they quoted is what you pay. If my apartments I was moving out of more workable they would have been done earlier than projected. They treated my items with such care and had such a good work ethic. read more

Great movers! Arrived on time at 8 am and moved everything efficiently despite the three flights of stairs & twists and turns. I live in an old building with no elevator, but they were able to do everything. Definitely recommend, thank you so much! Was well worth it and the quote was in my range. read more

Jacob was very responsive when I reached out to coordinate the logistics for the move. On the day of the move, Alex and Dmytro arrived and helped wrap the big furniture pieces and move my items to two locations. They were also accommodating with swapping some items at the first location. They were friendly, punctual, professional, and reasonably priced. Thank you so much for making my move easier! read more

We had a great experience working with Top Top. Jacob was forthcoming and easy to coordinate with, and our movers Alex and Dima did a great job. They got started right away and gave us an estimate of the time it would take (about 4-5 hours for a 2b/2ba with lots of antique furniture) - they came in right on time. They brought plenty of extra packing supplies, and did a great job wrapping /covering all of our furniture before they started loading the truck. They handled all our antiques with care, and brought along plenty of supplies to dismount and pack our TV, and any other odds and ends. Will definitely be hiring them again! Thanks guys! read more

I used This company to move from one unit to another and they were very responsive and communicative. When they showed up they walked the work site to see what was the most efficient and they did it in a timely fashion. They were prepared and very careful with items and they had all moving supplies. I was not expecting to get everything out of one place into the other in 1 day. Thank you for making this moving process less stressful. read more

Jacob and his team member were able to help us accomplish a last minute move from SF to Oakland. The items they needed to pack and transport were fragile, and they did a great job of handling everything. They charge a competitive rate, no up-charges, and were on time (early, even!) and extremely professional. They were able to navigate broken elevators and still finished in the amount of time that we discussed. It was probably the easiest time I've dealt with movers and their communication along the way was great. read more

Jacob and his team are wonderful! Jacob was extremely responsive when I reached out for my initial quote and the price was really reasonable. On moving day, they arrived on time, did a quick walk through of the house, and then got straight to work. They were friendly, efficient, communicative, and hard-working. They took extra care of a TV I was worried about making sure it survived the move in perfect condition. They protect/wrap each piece of furniture to protect it from damage. I was blown away at how quickly this team was able to move my 2 story, 3 bedroom/ 3 bath house - you definitely want this team in your corner on moving day. These movers are the best! I've used a few movers in the Bay Area, but no one has treated my belongings with as much care as Tip Top Movers. They were on time, worked fast, and moved our whole two bedroom house with ease. They were all so nice and respectful, and they even moved our heavy Murphy bed which was a big challenge.
