Tisane. A San Jose classic. Love all the flavors I've tried but my go-to's will always be the Blush and the wintermelon one. Honestly the toppings that come with the drinks are perfectly matched with the tea so I never change the order aside from the sweetness level (always 50-70% for me). Although a word of warning - I have friend who cannot sleep if she has Tisane so take that as you will (maybe try decaf). Everyone knows this is basically a Pekoe pt 2 but they now have more variety than pekoe. Their menu is huge and all of their drinks are solid. Wait times are also short if you go during opening/afternoons. Tried the greens thai tea which is now trending at a lot of boba places. I really liked it! I've heard great things about Tisane so I finally decided to try it out. Got the "two to mango" drink and it was refreshing with good tea flavor. I don't particularly think it's anything special and would not go out of my way to come here specifically. It was just a good fruit tea, nothing more nothing less. I tasted my friend's Pink volcano and it was pretty mediocre. She said it tasted just like strawberry purée even after being well mixed. The inside is dark and pretty busy when we went (Monday evening), with one self-ordering kiosk and one ordering station with the worker. Looks big on the outside but there's not much room inside. Tisane is a popular hang out spot. I currently tried the Totaro and Melon Rouge and loved them both. I normally don't taro drink at all because some places make it too chunky. The taro in Totaro was really smooth, silky and well-balanced with the salted cheese cream. The Melon Rouge was on the lighter and more refreshing side. The crystal boba and aloe vera added more texture to the drink and was fun to chew. My wife also really love the green panda although it is quite grainy to me. Tisane has a large selection of drink and I will probably come back to try more. read more

This location is a bit smaller than the other but still ample seating and same vibes. They have pretty much the same menu with a few more drinks I believe. I got the GTA and my boyfriend got the ghost. The ghost is a new drink they didn't have in SoCal, at least the last time I visited. They top the creme brûlée crema off with crushed graham crackers which taste really good & adds texture, but does get super soggy if you don't drink it right away. The drink somewhat reminds me of a Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. It's also on the sweeter side, so I recommend lowering the sweetness. I went through this drink super fast & has become one of my new favorites at Tisane. Their menu options includes: Milk Teas, Fresh fruits Teas, and Smoothies with some good Toppings! I like the Jasmine Milk Tea Boba, the Drew Barrymore, the Green Panda, Snow White, Purple Rain, White Rose, and Pink Volcano. Definitely yummy and quite Refreshing! My personal favorites are their fruit teas -- RPM, Two to Mango, and Melon Rouge. They are refreshing and perfect for a hot summer day. I also like that I was able to customize my toppings for the speciality drinks!! I decided to switch it up and try GTA today -- their green thai tea with salted cheese crema. What they say is true. The vibes are absolutely nightclub-esque. Lashes and pearl necklaces galore. The overhead lights are off and it's basically either LEDs or ambient lighting only. They're open til 12 daily. I went right before closing once and they even turned on the overhead light at 12 to shoo everybody out just like they do at the clubs downtown hahaha. This is my go to spot in sj they have good drinks & it feels like a nightclub every day. Upbeat music playing 24/7 regardless the time of day which is super loud. Not to mention, some of the girls upfront are rude. One girl was mad I asked her to repeat the order she aggressively moved the register with her long nails and didn't look at us once taking our order. Visit: 3/28/21 Not sure if this is common knowledge, but Tisane and Pekoe are essentially "step" stores (?). Or at least, that's what I heard. ie: owners parted ways and then one of them opened their own version really close by. Or...maybe it's just a business tactic?! The aesthetics, vibes and drinks are very much the same as Pekoe. I came here to see what the hype was about, and see if it tasted better than Pekoe. TBH, they taste the same - TIsane is probably on the sweeter side and more suited for high school kids. I tried a variety of things and nothing caught my attention unfortunately. I probably would never come again unless I was really craving boba. Tisane is usually my go to spot in Evergreen, but my last visit left a sour taste in my mouth. A little over a week ago, I received a text message for a gift from Tisane which was a "free happy birthday drink." I stopped by Tisane on my birthday since I was already in the area. After ordering my drink and letting the cashier know I was redeeming my birthday drink, she asked to see the date of the text on my phone and then she took a photo of the message on her phone. Shortly after, she basically told me that I couldn't get a free drink and could only offer 1/2 off because texts messages like that shouldn't be going out to people anymore. I've worked in customer service before and believe this should have been handled differently. In my opinion, the free drink should have been honored since I received the text. The photo that she took could have been proof that I came in to redeem it. If a customer shouldn't be receiving that text then they need to work it out with the company that's sending it. I'm sure there's a way to track who received the message. It's definitely not a great feeling when someone gives you something and takes it back. In the end, I ended up ordering the Melon Rouge with 25% sugar and 25% ice. It was very refreshing. I will have to say they did a nice job on the holiday decorations inside. read more
