3.5 rounded up. Great location, ample parking, near an In-N-Out, pretty hard to beat. I've heard Tisane is a top 3 spot but think it's very dependent on audience. Feels like the hip high school spot. Tons of specialty drinks with interesting blends but lacking some of the basic, OG drinks. Being open late is a plus but way too sweet, even when adjusted. Totaro w/ Boba - 25% sugar was way sweet, tasted like regular levels. Either their typical sugar is too high or they don't accommodate sugar adjustments, both of which are poor experiences. Boba was inconsistent as some pearls were cooked well and sweet whereas others were undercooked and firm. On the other hand, taro was creamy and there was a faint floral taste from the green tea.
There are such mixed reviews for this place, but I needed to try it for myself and I was pleasantly surprised. They serve quality tea with punny names, but their Roasted Oolong (Roast is History) was some of the best I've had in the Bay. Their fruit teas are on the sweeter side so would recommend 50%, but the Melon Rouge is quite good. The interior is really nice with black leather couches in three separate sections, perfect for larger groups. You mostly order on kiosks and they do offer DoorDash

Go-to spot for many young teenagers who have a sweet tooth (most likely because they still have the health to handle it!). I like that they offer a variety of unique drinks and fruit flavor pairings that sets them apart from other milk tea stores! I ordered the Dew Berrymore at 25% sweetness and less ice, and it still came out really sweet! Super strong artificial honeydew flavor, which I enjoy and find refreshing when paired with the sharpness of the jasmine green tea. I think if they incorporated a berry flavor into this to match the name of the beverage and reduced the honeydew, it'd also have a nice aftertaste! My boyfriend ordered the Blush because the description in the store said it was infused with strawberry puree, and he was a tad disappointed since it doesn't seem like these drinks have actual fruit in them. It was also very sweet and he wasn't a huge fan. The jellies had a good texture to them.
Came in the afternoon. Kiosk was located away from front door, but people using it blocks the aisle to the back. The music was on so loud that I think they don't want you to stay long. If you're hard of hearing, you can tolerate the loudness. However, the boba was good and haven't found this flavor.

Fast service but their blueberry matcha tasted and looked like milk mixed with blueberries and no matcha. I had my husband try to finish it because I don't like wasting. He could only drink so much before we threw it out. He ordered life's a peach which was good.
I ordered on the self-order kiosk and appreciated that they had photos of each drink on there! I got the Two to Mango with boba 75% sweet but it was still pretty sweet so I would try 50% next time. This is a great place for late night boba. It's also nice that they decorated inside for the holidays!
Boba place that looks like a nightclub. Only 3 tables. Parking is ok. The boba drinks were good. The strawberry drink could have been more blended. I would come here again. Nice and cold AC in the summer.
Tried Tisane for the first time couple weeks ago. Will definitely say if I'm in the area late night I will be visiting this Tisane again. The ambiance was really cool, they had nice lights inside and big mirrors around the indoor sitting area. Definitely gave off club vibes. The service was really good, the bobarista gave out very good beverage recommendations. The drinks of course were just alright. I definitely had better at other locations. I overall give this business a 4/5 star review. It's the not the best tasting milk tea shop I have tried this year but I would say the vibes and the social space of this business was the great. Will definitely be back whenever I am in San Jose and craving a milk tea late nights.
The fall off is hard. Change of ownership shows. Seems like the recipes changed and especially after everyone quit last year, no one knows how to do everything originally from before. Sure the service is typically quick, but Tisane was always a place a little bit better than average. It's always going there for the vibe and how late it's open, but now I'm paying for 7-8 dollar drinks that literally taste average. I had the sugar hill the other day and it tasted only like black milk tea. It's pretty hard to mess up fruit tea because it's literally syrup, but the milk tea itself is basically the same. It's unfortunate, but this place really did fall off.
This was my first time at this location and it must have been a quiet day as the staff were sitting down and chatting. I didn't want to interrupt so I placed my order on the kiosk. Most of the drinks come with topping already and some of the sweetness level can't be adjusted. Price for the drinks are almost the same as other boba spots. The interior is clean with a lounge aesthetic. There are two claw machines by the entrance. The drinks were a good and hit the spot in this warm weather.

Tisane. A San Jose classic. Love all the flavors I've tried but my go-to's will always be the Blush and the wintermelon one. Honestly the toppings that come with the drinks are perfectly matched with the tea so I never change the order aside from the sweetness level (always 50-70% for me). Although a word of warning - I have friend who cannot sleep if she has Tisane so take that as you will (maybe try decaf). After a night out with friends, we decided to stop by Tisane. Tisane is great because they were open late! When I got there, I noticed that there was a long line of people, but luckily it went by fast! Since it was my first time there, I decided to go with a favorite and got the Green Panda Tea! This drink was very good and was reminiscent of pandan. Inside the place, there are seats to sit and lounge with your friends. There is also tons of parking too! read more
I usually visit here when my friends want to go here or for late night boba runs. The vibes here are cool and lots of people come and go. The inside is very cute and super decorated with lights for the holidays. Good place to end the night with. The main thing for me is that these drinks are always soo overly sweet for me! I ordered the Snow White with 0% sugar and it was still super sweet. Felt like the sweetness wasn't changed. My main go to is the Lychee Ice with no lychee and 0% sweetness. Tisane is a popular hang out spot. I currently tried the Totaro and Melon Rouge and loved them both. I normally don't taro drink at all because some places make it too chunky. The taro in Totaro was really smooth, silky and well-balanced with the salted cheese cream. The Melon Rouge was on the lighter and more refreshing side. The crystal boba and aloe vera added more texture to the drink and was fun to chew. My wife also really love the green panda although it is quite grainy to me. Tisane has a large selection of drink and I will probably come back to try more. read more

I'm a frequent visitor of the SoCal location so I thought I'd stop by here to check it out since I love the SoCal location. This location is a bit smaller than the other but still ample seating and same vibes. They have pretty much the same menu with a few more drinks I believe. I got the GTA and my boyfriend got the ghost. The ghost is a new drink they didn't have in SoCal, at least the last time I visited. The GTA tasted the same as the previous times I've gotten it so A+ for consistency! My bf really liked the ghost! Overall this place is definitely worth stopping by! read more

Tried one of Tisane's newer drinks, Gram Brûlée. They top the creme brûlée crema off with crushed graham crackers which taste really good & adds texture, but does get super soggy if you don't drink it right away. The drink somewhat reminds me of a Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. It's also on the sweeter side, so I recommend lowering the sweetness. I went through this drink super fast & has become one of my new favorites at Tisane. It wasn't too busy when I went, so the service was pretty fast and there was also a lot of space to sit on the couches. read more

The decor here is always decked out for all the holidays, I absolutely love it! They have a pretty good menu with many interesting names. All their drinks I've tried have strong teas, so be careful if you're drinking late night boba because it definitely keeps me up. I tried their Thai Tea and it was full of tea, spice, and herbs. It's very unlikely to get those chai flavors from a regular milk tea spot. read more

I have a preset order that I always go to on doordash - Barney and Fruits and Green Panda on 0% sweet. I always end up craving boba at night and because I'm extremely caffeine sensitive, these are the only caffeine free drinks that I could choose from. Theyre both super good although I have a preference for barney and fruits. Its super refreshing. As for green panda This is the closest I could get to 7 leaves without driving the distance. Its pretty sweet even with no sugar added and seems pre mixed so I would recommend 0%. My sister also tried blush which she really enjoyed as well. read more
This Milk Teas place is located on Capitol Expressway and Tully Road next to the In and Out Burger. My friend and I came here a couple times a week. The Drinks here are really good! Their menu options includes: Milk Teas, Fresh fruits Teas, and Smoothies with some good Toppings! I like the Jasmine Milk Tea Boba, the Drew Barrymore, the Green Panda, Snow White, Purple Rain, White Rose, and Pink Volcano. Definitely yummy and quite Refreshing! Not only that their Drinks are great, the girls working here are very nice helpful, and this place is very pretty with the cute Colorful Holidays Decorations! Visit: 3/28/21 Not sure if this is common knowledge, but Tisane and Pekoe are essentially "step" stores (?). Or at least, that's what I heard. ie: owners parted ways and then one of them opened their own version really close by. Or...maybe it's just a business tactic?! The aesthetics, vibes and drinks are very much the same as Pekoe. I came here to see what the hype was about, and see if it tasted better than Pekoe. TBH, they taste the same - TIsane is probably on the sweeter side and more suited for high school kids. I tried a variety of things and nothing caught my attention unfortunately. I probably would never come again unless I was really craving boba. Keeping it at a 3 because its slightly better than other places I've had, but not a place I would recommend for true boba lovers (except Amy LOL). read more
Tisane is usually my go to spot in Evergreen, but my last visit left a sour taste in my mouth. A little over a week ago, I received a text message for a gift from Tisane which was a "free happy birthday drink." I stopped by Tisane on my birthday since I was already in the area. After ordering my drink and letting the cashier know I was redeeming my birthday drink, she asked to see the date of the text on my phone and then she took a photo of the message on her phone. Shortly after, she basically told me that I couldn't get a free drink and could only offer 1/2 off because texts messages like that shouldn't be going out to people anymore. I've worked in customer service before and believe this should have been handled differently. In my opinion, the free drink should have been honored since I received the text. The photo that she took could have been proof that I came in to redeem it. If a customer shouldn't be receiving that text then they need to work it out with the company that's sending it. I'm sure there's a way to track who received the message. It's definitely not a great feeling when someone gives you something and takes it back. In the end, I ended up ordering the Melon Rouge with 25% sugar and 25% ice. It was very refreshing. I will have to say they did a nice job on the holiday decorations inside. read more

Tisane is one of my favorite boba places in San Jose! Their drinks are always so tasty and they have a pretty interesting menu. I never have to wait long here because the drinks come out in a reasonable time. My favorite drinks are Golden, Melon Rouge, and RPM. Thank the boba gods this place is open till midnight! Needed a pick me up that had NO alcohol after hitting up bars and eating everything in vicinity to sober me up. So I REALLY needed some kind of sweetness/dessert to satisfy my belly! I love Duke of Earl here! I have never gotten anything else besides this drink and I will stand/support this drink 100%. I love the grass jelly and I love the flavor of the drink itself. I get it with less sugar and less ice all the time. The line can be crazy depending on when you go, but every time I have been here I have had to wait in line. Worth it though! There is inside seating and there is tables outside to sit at. You can find plenty of parking here unless you come when there is some kind of car meet up. read more
I've heard great things about Tisane so I finally decided to try it out. Got the "two to mango" drink and it was refreshing with good tea flavor. I don't particularly think it's anything special and would not go out of my way to come here specifically. It was just a good fruit tea, nothing more nothing less. I tasted my friend's Pink volcano and it was pretty mediocre. She said it tasted just like strawberry purée even after being well mixed. The inside is dark and pretty busy when we went (Monday evening), with one self-ordering kiosk and one ordering station with the worker. Looks big on the outside but there's not much room inside. I got the Two to Mango drink and I really liked it! 25% sweetness was perfect for me. It was a jasmine tea with yellow mango puree along with mango jelly stars. The mango jelly stars were chewy and unique which was a nice change from the usual boba topping. I loved the ambience inside with the purple lights and this place is perfect if you're craving boba late night. read more

I was very excited to try Tisane's new banana matcha, but it didn't live up to my expectation. For almost $8, matcha was pretty bitter and very grainy. The banana cream was also very bitter and left a bad aftertaste. It wasn't creamy and i could still taste banana chunks (some might like it, but in my case the banana chunk was not sweet either and left a bitter aftertaste). I haven't tried the rest of the new matcha but i would not come back just for the banana matcha. read more

Yall I am so disgusted!!! After I damn near finished my drink I was looking at my cup to see how much boba I had left and I thought this was a rlly tiny piece of a boba but I noticed I saw legs I can't even lie when I was 100% sure of what I saw I threw up. I've been craving tisane lately so I got it two days in a row and i can't get it again I'm truly disgusted. Yall got an ant problem or something cause how the heck did an ant get in my cup. I don't even know if that's the only ant in there to think I might have consumed one.... Three stars cause I really do like the place, the customer service is good but yall are gonna make me paranoid of what's in my drink now. read more

I came around 11:30 PM on a Wednesday. The line was out the door, I would say about 10-15 people, but I figured that we can wait since it would be pretty quick. I think it took only 10 minutes from the time I arrived until the time I got my drink, most of that time (5-7 minutes) waiting in line. I'm sure if we ordered online it would have been even faster, but I was really in no rush. I thought the green thai tea with creama was really good (nicknamed "GTA"). It was on the sweeter side (I got 50% sweetness), but not really an issue for me, I like sugar! I would probably get 25% next time. The creama was a really nice touch and made it much better. Staff was friendly and efficient. I'm not sure how many people were working at the same time but they obviously had it under control (I'm sure they're used to crowds!) Interior design is cool. It's like a club or something (I wouldn't know, I haven't been to a club yet!) with cool lights. I haven't been to Pekoe in awhile but this does remind me of the glory days of Pekoe (around 2018 I think) read more

Good tea spot but make sure to adjust your sweetness if you like your drinks less sweet cause even 50% can be a bit too much. My usually go to is Roast is History, Golden, or Duke of Earl .. pretty simple. Sometimes I get one of their fruit teas as well. Yesterday I got their arknado as a dessert and it was good but didn't really look like their advertised photo so that was a bit disappointing aesthetic wise but still tasty. See pics read more

A must visit if you are craving boba and tea. There are so many flavors for every mood and with bar like seating, the ambiance is pretty hip. It's located in a plaza with Safeway and in and out so it's always crowded. I tried the green panda and it was delicious with a accurate pandan and coconut flavors. location & parking: located in a big plaza shared with safeway and innout. you'll likely have no issues finding parking in their huge shared lot! if you've never been here, this is that one boba spot that has night club energy because of the decor and crowd, but all in all, is just a little boba shop! food & drinks: we ordered a green panda tea and a blush tea -- both are so fragrant in flavor! sweet, smooth, rich, and honestly super yummy. service: came on a saturday night and it was moderately busy, we waited in line that lead out the door for maybe 5-10 minutes. staff are fast and nice :) you can also self order with card on their kiosk machine. vibes: the ambiance is super cool. it feels like a night club, but also just a nice chill place to hang. the store is pretty dark with some neon lights and ambiance lighting. there are both indoor seating and outdoor seating. note: tisane is definitely where all of the young cool kids go hahaha definitely a popular hub for abgs & abbs XD but on the real tho, the drinks are really good and i would def come back for them overall: 5/5 star for vibes, drinks, & overall experience! read more

Order multiple time from this place this is the first time i receive my DoorDash order with the box, normally they will give plastic bag. Been waiting for 45mins and the box was broke and my drinks now are disappearing. So very disappointed for today experience.. please reuse the plastic bag for driver. Hey guys, dairy free and non-dairy are two different things. Dairy free is completely dairy free (no milk ingredients at all), non-dairy items can still have milk ingredients like whey casein lactose. Are the teas here dairy free or non dairy?
