Scheduled an appointment for 1pm for a tire replacement. I dropped off the car at 12:15 and took the family to watch a Movie that starts at 1:20. Movie finished at 3:15. Came back to this place around 3:25. The car is sitting in the bay with the old tires still mounted. I walked by and the service guy saw me checking out the car. I sat in the lounge and they started taking out the tires that were in my backseat. I have been sitting in the lounge for a good 30 minutes and no one even apologized or at least explain to me why they haven't done anything to the car. Been going here for awhile and this is the first time that I've experienced this. Looks like I'm going to be here for another two hours. It is now 4pm. read more

Thank you for fast and wonderful service today. I am very appreciative to your staff, especially Michael, for going the extra mile to help me out to get my snow tires on in time for the winter. I feel much safer driving with my new baby now :) read more

We realized a bit late that the threads on our car were completely worn last night and thought we would have to delay going home because of the danger of driving with bald tires with the recent snowstorms and that tire shops would be open on Christmas Eve. However we called this morning to a different Tires Plus and were redirected to this one which had our tires in stock. They managed to replace them on Christmas Eve, staying past closing time to finish. Our family can't thank you enough for giving us piece of mind in our safety and for your courteousness and professionalism. Thank you Cameron and the rest of the staff! We are very thankful this Christmas for your assistance. read more

GO ANYWHERE ELSE! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF LIKE THEY TRIED TO DO TO ME!!! Tires went bald 15k into a 40k warranty...they wanted 150 ro replace but I paid 200 just 3 months ago! read more

They don't even deserve this one star.. Made an appointment for 2:30. I brought it in early, about 12pm, and its 5:09 and they're just now working on my car. This is the first and last time I come here. I don't recommend this place at all. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

Update: After being able to speak with the manager he was more then understanding of our experience and was able to replace a bad TPS. Manager is very nice and accommodating. read more

Do not go here. I no longer have a working vehicle because they failed to successfully do what they say they will.

This is the only place I will let touch my rides and everyone in my family goes here. I have been coming here for years and never had a problem. The guys always double check everything they never try to talk you into more. They have let me know if I did need anything but never been pushy. They are nothing but amazing. read more

Brought in a tire and wheel that had a nail in it and needed to be patched. They were swamped and asked my to come back to pick it up in about 5 hours, ok I understand. Come back and pick it up and load it in my car, get home and look at the back side of the wheel. There are three sets of deep gouges in the wheel, bad enough that I almost cut my hand on the metal that had been torn up. In addition they tore a dime sized piece of the tire out along the wheel bead. I am hoping it will still hold air under load. How could they possibly done this and not noticed and then nobody said a thing about the damage they did to the tire wheel AND tire? Called the store manager and he had no answer and did not even apologize. He could have at least refunded the charge. And by the way they overcharged me for what they did. I will never go to this location again and would recommend that if you like your tires and wheels in unblemished condition that you also avoid them too. read more

Very happy with my tires. I bought the cheapest ones and they are a huge improvement, it's almost like driving a new car!

I won't go anywhere else. They are always helpful, knowledgeable, and always seem to be able to come through when we have an emergency at inconvenient times. (And unfortunately these seem to happen more than I think they should!) Over multiple appointments and unfortunate frequent drop-ins, I have Zero complaints and only positive experiences. Again, the only place for me for tires and mechanical maintenance and emergencies! read more

Great service. Saved me a tire on my return trip back to San Francisco. Best of all it was a FREE service Thanks Troy much appreciated for the help read more

I am from the Bay Area and had what I thought was a serious alignment problem. I called and made an appointment. The manager was very accommodation and efficient. They worked on the alignment and it was done in 45 minutes. Good news car was OK and barely out of alignment. If I had a problem when I was in the area, I have a second home in Truckee, I would differently take my car there repair. read more

If you want honest service, than this is the place for your repair needs. We brought in our vehicle for some needed repairs. They completed their inspection and advised us of some other issues. Unlike other shops that will go for everything, they told us what was an immediate need and what could wait for a future repair. Doing repairs on a budget, this helps us plan for the future on what we will need for maintenance. Great service and honest about the repairs needed. You will not experience the typical "Bring in your car for an oil change and have to replace the engine" type of repairs that you may find with other service shops. They only work on what is needed and don't try to pull the wool over your eyes with non-required work. Great shout out to John and his team!! read more

My mom went in for an oil change, came out 5 hours later with more than $1k of unnecessary work done. When my brother went to go meet her there, he asked what services they did. After naming off useless things, they mentioned the brakes were bad. Even though he just replaced them. Then they backtracked saying, "oh well it wasn't the brakes themselves, the rotors were cracked". Bs. You guys saw an older woman alone and figured you'd make some bucks off of a hard working person. Bravo, well done. read more

I am seriously soo dissapointed with service that my Grandfather recieved today. My senior citizen Grandparent was kind enough to help me while I worked today by bringing my Tire to Tires plus on N. Mccarran Blvd to see if he could have them patch a hole in my tire. Multiple things that make me sooo mad occurred. The first thing is that he was told that the place where the nail went through was a hole that could not be fixed and that he would have to purchase a new tire at $150. Once they told him that my tire would have to be replaced, he still tried to give them buisness by having them patch a hole in his tire. He was charge $30 for that service. He left thinking that the hole in my tire could be fixed so he thought that he would take it LES SCHAWB for a second opinion- SURE ENOUGH THEY FIXED MY TIRE that the awful tires plus told him they could NOT! TO TOP IT OFF LES SCHAWB ONLY CHARGED HIM $14 FOR THEM SAME WORK THAT TIRES PLUS CHARGED HIM $30 FOR. SO MANY PEOPLE DO NOT SHOP AROUND AND THINK WHEN THEY COME TO THIS TERRIBLE PLACE OF BUSINESS THAT THEY ARE GETTING A GOOD DEAL, BUT I PROMISE, IF YOU CAN MAKE IT TO ANOTHER COMPANY PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE... VERRRRYYYY DISSAPOINTED. read more

I have yet to have a bad experience. I normally bring my truck here for oil changes and tune-ups. Recently I had some brake issues and took my truck to Just Brakes on Virginia where I was quoted $900. Told them no thank you and brought my truck here where I saved over $200 with an alignment included! After I received the call that my truck was ready I walked in and noticed my truck was still in the garage. Apparently I had a loose coolant hose and they tightened it with a new clamp at no charge! Love this place and plan on bringing my truck in for all maintenance/issues from now on. The mechanics are always friendly and fast. The longest I've ever had to wait is 90 minutes because I didn't make an appointment. read more

We had an emergency cooling system issue on our road trip that came to light in Reno and took our car to these guys. They sorted our problem quickly and reasonably and got us back on the road and saved us a load more hassle. Kudos to Pedro and the team (and Tyler for sorting the appointment out) for providing us with tip top service and giving us an excellent anecdote for the future :) read more

Took my 2004 Subaru Forester in, for the lifetime alignment and after a minor snafu with credit from some previous work on a different vehicle and the service manager calling the district manager, we got it done and to my complete satisfaction. Great job, Chris and District Manager Mark T. Tires Plus is the only place in town that I have found a Lifetime Alignment, and with some of the wonderful Nevada Roads I drive down and travel this is a SUPER DEAL. Costs more up front, but every 6-8 months take it in to get dialed in and it will save in tires in no time. read more

I have visited this facility several times and have always been pleased. Today I asked to have my tire pressure checked and was alarmed that 2 of the tires were at about 50% full! Tyler was very courteous. Heather, the front desk person, is always very anxious to please. read more

I had my car worked on at this location , I have been doing business with them for over 7 years and they usually do fair work but today I went back in to have them take a look at my corvette brakes again because they were STILL NOT RIGHT after waiting a whole week just for them to find a part and do the work, and the person at the desk ( do not know if he's the mgr or not, only second time dealing with him) told me were not going to work on it anymore even through it still was not right . so I am going to get the brakes redone at a BETTER place . I advise all if you have any type of nice car do not take your car to the Tires Plus 1250 Mccarran Blvd location . Terrible service . It only takes one person to give a business a bad REP and lose TRUST read more

I have had my car serviced at this location twice and has been nothing short of fantastic. The staff is great and the manager Cody makes sure things get done the right way. In February I needed new tires and an oil change for my car and they made sure it was taken care of, and again today to change my oil. I always have a great experience here and plan on always bringing my car here for all it's needs. Thanks guys, you're the best! read more

I had a horrible experience at this Tires Plus. When I brought my vehicle in for a routine brake job, the Manager was so inexplicably rude to me that his own employees gave me the corporate 800# and urged me to lodge a complaint against him. I had already checked my rotors and knew they were fine. My brakes weren't even squeaking but I don't wait until they are to get them serviced. Right away, this guy cops an attitude, probably because I refused to back down when he came back rude for no reason. I have never encountered such a rude, angry person in any service position before. When he went out to the garage, some of the other guys who heard the exchange told me to file a complaint against him... which I intend to do. Two and a half hours later, I finally get a call from the Manager with my estimate and of course, he claims my vehicle needs new rotors. Sure. I told him I prefer to get a second opinion, to please have my vehicle ready for me and I will be up to get it. I picked it up and drove the two miles home and made an appointment with Big O on Mae Anne. But I noticed later that evening that one of my front tires was nearly flat, and all four tires were purchased only a couple months ago at Tires Plus, unfortunately. Turns out the valve in the stem had been loosened and I believe it was intentional. I truly believe that guy is mentally unhinged. His angry behavior was outrageous and uncalled for. I'm quite sure he prefers women customers who believe anything he says. By the way, the guys at Big O were professional, friendly and HONEST. I got the work done in under two hours. And they were less expensive. read more

My boyfriend needed an alignment on a Sunday the staff especially Chris was extremely helpful on getting us in an out! Highly Recommended!

Pedro and team did a great job and all at a great price. They went out of their way to squeeze me in to an already full day and got my service done quickly. I will be coming here for my car service needs from now on. read more

CODI IS YOUR CLASSIC CROOKED MECHANIC!! I really hate to leave this review because I've been going to this location for the last 4 years, and Pedro has always been so trustworthy and honest with me. It's been 5 stars leading up to this review. However, the last two experiences with Codi have been really awful, and folks like him will tank this place. Last year, I had a full tune up, including changing the battery, had my brakes redone (pads and rotors), new lights, etc. The last time I dropped off my car for an oil change, Codi says I need a new battery and brake pads. I immediately pushed back that it couldn't be correct because I'd recently had it all done last year. He was clearly trying to upsell me on services I didn't need. While I was out of town, Codi pulled the same thing on my wife on our other vehicle that was also recently tuned up. Since we've always had a positive experience here, she trusted him and accepted those services. The final bill was $500 on completely unnecessary work with very inflated labor charges. Pedro and his team have always treated us honestly until this Codi guy comes along, sticks his hand in our pockets, and essentially stole $400 from us in unnecessary work. If Codi is the one you get, wait for another staff member to take care of you! read more

I am absolutely satisfied with their customer service! I called to see if they had the time to do a tire rotation and also repair a tire, Pedro told me it was no problem and to come in. I was attended to promptly and so was my vehicle. I will definitely make this my new go to tire place and more! Well done Tires Plus, well done! read more

I've used this particular Tires Plus location for several years and their attention to detail and quality of service is very good. Many times, they often run alignment and oil change specials for a great deal and they will check your alignment for free. The last time I was there, they told me my wife's 4Runner was in need of tires and were prepared to go out of their way to procure new tires for my wife's 4Runner. Though I ended up getting new Cooper's for her car from Reno Vulcanizing, this Tires Plus does good work and they are honest folks. I recommend them for your oil change/alignment and tire needs! read more

Best Tires Plus in the area, beats every other oil shop and tire shop. Best customer service and amazing work!!

Love this shop! Very friendly staff, and I have never had any issues. I have brought all my cars to this shop for every tuneup, tire need, oil change, and minor fixes. They never short me on work, but have occasionally gone above and beyond and made minor adjustments where necessary without charge. Considering how busy they usually are, they have a great turnaround time as well. read more

Cody the manager is a quack. Do not choose this location to fix your vehicle. I was experiencing tire wobbling and a strong pull to the left while I was driving. I took my car in to be looked at and the manager Cody told me it was the ball joints. After I picked up my car (and payed them almost 1000$) I noticed nothing had changed and the problem was not fixed! I asked them to test drive my car with me and within 5 minutes the tech, Don,realized there was a different problem and I had to wait for it to be fixed again. This place is nothing but a hassle and not worth the money. Save yourself the headache. read more

Terrible service. Cashier was "too busy with new customers to help ones who had been waiting a day." All we had was a bent rim on a steel wheel and they were wanting us to buy a bunch of other unneeded things. We ended up going to the les schwab down the street and they fixed the issue in 15 minutes and it cost only 15 dollars compared to the hundreds of dollars quoted by this tires plus. If anyone has any trouble or hits that mess of potholes on I 580 go to the les schwab down the street from here. read more

I was traveling from out of town and steam came up from my engine. I pulled into Tires Plus by accident. It was a busy day for the them, two hours before closing. They only promised to take a look, but not fix it before Monday. I was given a courtesy ride about 8 miles away! To my surprise I was called at 5:00 o'clock PM (their closing time on Sundays) and told my car was ready and they would stay open late for me to pick it up. The repair bill was reasonable and the staff courteous and knowledgeable. If I lived in Reno, Tires Plus would be my car mechanics of choice. read more

Always good service with a smile Pedro is very excellent in this job and is really good always give me good deal and takes care of me. My 2008 BMW X3 had the radiator light turn on and I was able to make it to this shop. I've used the shop for oil changes and regular small items. They were able to fix the issue which was unusual, an electric water pump failure. However, why I rate them 5 stars is they found a broken motor mount!!! I had taken the car into two other places complaining of vibration and a funny noise near the wheel well. Neither place was able to diagnose the issue. We both individually looked up the broken motor mounts on X3's and found on Bimmerfest the electric pump failure was a result of the engine leaning towards the broken mount. Not only that component, I was having trouble with my windshield washers. That was also fixed by putting new motor mounts. Seems many hoses, clamps and engine components expect a particular engine angle. When that changes, they are stressed, pinched or completely fail. I highly recommend this place for attention to detail and good prices. I believe I would have paid thousands of dollars at the BMW dealer to fix this mess. I was blessed with a much lower bill. Good to experience honest, intelligent mechanics which is sadly sometimes missing from the car repair business. read more

This is an amazing staff. They were the only place open on Labor Day. In town for one day and they made my day fixing my tire and even called a cab so I could get to my son's baseball game!
