I had my oil changed at the beginning of March before the quarantine started. After a couple of weeks I was going to the grocery store and noticed a drop of oil on my driveway. I called Jiffy Lube and explained the issue and they said to bring the car right in. When I arrived they had me pull into the bay, but not get out of my car. They replaced the drain plug gasket at no charge! They asked me if there was oil on my driveway and I answered yes. They then provided me with a bottle of degreaser and a new rag. Confession time: I'm sure you'll be shocked to learn that going to get car maintenance done has never been my favorite thing to do. I always feel like I have to pay more than I was expecting and problems always arise. Especially now with the pandemic, I have been putting taking my car in at the bottom of my to-do list for a few weeks now. But after my experience at Jiffy Lube I realized I have nothing to fear in the future! Service was quick, friendly, and precautions were taken. I needed an oil change and my tires rotated,and I stayed in the vehicle for the oil change. The only time I got out was when they lifted the car to change the tires, and no one else got in the vehicle or pressed any buttons. There was no wait when I arrived and I was out in 10 minutes! They also told me if I think any fluids are low within 3000 miles of the change I can come back in and they'll top them off for free. Overall I was really pleased with the service, they are taking great precautions to protect us all. I am so thankful that they are still working during this time, their work is not unnoticed, and I would recommend this location to anyone! read more

Went here for a quick oil change that ended up taking about an hour. I will say it's nice that they do other things (check the air filter, clean windows, vacuum) which makes me more alright with overpaying for an oil change. Ridiculous!! Put the WRONG OIL in my car, when the guy that checked me in had entered what I wanted in "some system" that obviously doesn't get looked at. OVERINFLATED my tires by 10 psi!! And I filed a complaint through Jiffy Lube over a week ago, and NOTHINGS HAPPENED. They dont care about your car. If you do, DONT GO HERE. I am in between 2 and 3 stars. I bought some oil changes on Groupon. Two oil changes for $70.00 was a great deal. I got the commuter car's oil change done and then came back with the Jeep. I was told that the Jeep needed a new air filter. So I agreed. I was told it would be $21.00 to replace the filter. Then I was told that my airfliter was able to be cleaned out,as it is a lifer time air filter, so that would save me money. I looked out the window and say a technician banging the filter on the ground and blowing it out with a can of air, When I checked out, I was charged $20.00 for them to bang my air filter on the ground and using some compressed air. I would have appreciated them being honest and telling me that they didn't need to replace my filter and I could clean it out myself. I paid my bill and left. While I don't have any other issues with this location, I appreciate honesty when dealing with a company. For now on, I won't be using this location and will change both air filters on my own. read more

These guys are A1! Took in the car for an oil change. As soon as I drove in, a young man came out and met me at the car. He explained how things work, escorted us inside, showed us where everything was, and then went out and parked my car in the stall. They went over the car and told me everything that was wrong with it. They changed filters, dead lights, and fluids. We had a coupon, and they were happy to redeem it. From the moment you drive on the lot you are greeted by the friendliest staff, Carl, in particular, was wonderful. He escorted me to the lobby to wait for my car and warned me that the coffee was hours old. Pretty considerate and personable person. He's not the manager, but sitting in the waiting room you see how he facilitates and orchestrates the entire operation while you are there for a short time. He keeps the communication in the garage going so you are never waiting around longer than you should for your car. Carl also goes over everything with you about your car before you leave. He makes sure you are always in the know about every detail. He doesn't try to upsell anything but makes you aware of what the diagnostic report is sharing about your car. Went for a simple oil change, they weren't busy at all I was the only one there and it was two hours until they closed. Oil change was quick, but when I got back in my vehicle there was oil Everywhere on the inside. On the doorhandles, on the steering wheel on the floor mats, on the key phob. They Opened my door and stood on the floor of my truck to wash my window but In doing so they rubbed oil all over the floor of my vehicle with their boots. Im absolutely livid. This is the 3rd jiffy lube ive tried in Reno NV and all of them are a fucking joke. Dont let this fuck off chain company do any work on your vehicles. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube for oil change. We have been using them for many years. I was asked to wait in lobby. While waiting in lobby with my mask on an employee entered without a mask coughing all over. None of the employees had mask on during my visit. They did not wear a mask while inside my vehicle. The person who checked me only put a mask on once is was already at the counter helping me. Also they decided that the batteries where dead on my truck. Instead of asking if the truck has an alarm (kill mode) they proceeded to jump my truck that was not dead they tried jumping both batteries. This could cause damage to the truck. I went out asked why they were jumping it, they said "your batteries are dead". I said no there a button you have to push on the remote to start the truck. They should have asked before they took other steps like jump starting a truck that did not have dead batteries. We will be finding a new place to have our vehicles serviced. read more

This jiffy lube is doing questionable and unethical practices. I am a fairly new owner of a Volkswagen Jetta. I drove up and handed them my keys to get an oil change. They did not give me any information or options about my vehicle's oil before they drain my oil. They then tell me, I have a vehicle that takes a special type of synthetic oil and charge an crazy amount for this oil. That being said, I was shocked! However this oil is good for ten thousand miles. Why didn't they tell me this prior to draining my oil? Because then I would have been informed and would have felt better in making the oil change at a later date. Since the last known oil change was only 3 thousand miles. Turns out my owners manual states it's good for 30 thousand! I will not go back! read more

Best experience I've ever had getting an oil change. Didn't try to push BS on me that I didn't need, the staff is amazingly polite and professional and everything was done with expertise. I was in and out in less than an hour for an oil change, both air filters changed, tires rotated plus full inspection. Plus I was the only customer there at 8am on a Tuesday. Highly recommend. I always go to this Jiffy Lube because it is close to my house. I went in for an oil change & to have my tires rotated. Was in and out in about forty minutes. My tire pressure sign was on before I came in and knew they would fill the tires, but when I got in to leave the light was still on - I said something and they filled my tires up and the light went off. I am going to assume they never actually filled them in the first place (or the light would not be on still) until I said something. The guy also said that my windows were cleaned and carpets vacuumed - I did not realized that my windows were not cleaned AND my carpet was still soo dirty until after I got home because I just assumed it was done because it normally is. I was/am disappointed, but sometimes people forget. But still - it takes a couple minutes and if you say it is done then do it. I normally would give five starts but this experience was not my best. read more

I've gone here several times now. Customer service is very good. Last time I was there a tire valve cap was missing (I have custom caps). They couldn't find it when I went back, but called a couple of days later having found it. I was impressed they stuck with it. This time I realized when I got home they had overcharged me by a few dollars. I spoke with Jean on the phone. She saw the problem right away and credited my card for more than they had overcharged. I've always had good experiences at this location and their current manager is great, which is part of the reason why I continued to use this location to service my car. However, my most recent experience at this location was enough for me to consider going elsewhere in the future. During my previous visit (about 4 months ago) I paid to have my air filter cleaned, and I was told that I needed to have it cleaned again when I visited this shop again earlier this week (was it not cleaned previously?). I ultimately paid to have the air filter cleaned, but part of me can't help but feel like I was ripped off twice. I was also told by one of the mechanics that my car had an "excessive" transmission leak and I should get it looked at "soon," but the mechanic failed to provide more detail and I felt like I couldn't ask for more clarification (like if the transmission had enough oil or where the leak was suspected to be coming from) because he seemed eager to get me out of the shop. I left worried about my car and consulted a trusted mechanic to take a look. It's still early to say for certain, but it looks like the transmission of my car is still doing okay and the leak may be coming from a worn out hose. Why couldn't the mechanic at Jiffy Lube explain this? read more

Great customer service! I went at about 3:30 on a weekday and my car was done in under 30 minutes. Kirk noticed my out of state plates and noted that I may need a smog test before going to the DMV.
