They wouldn't even let me use the tire filler to air it up enough to make it safely home so I could get my spare that I bought from them. What jerks!! I'd give them no stars if possible. Particularly the this specific tire Discounters in springboro... I applied to work there about a week ago and I had gotten the job. About a week passed of working there the manager Dave Jarvis. Came out and threw a temper tantrum because I made a small mistake and started throwing shit and got very confrontational. Wouldn't give me a 30 min lunch break because we were busy. Which dosent matter it's still against the law to not give me a break. Then he got very confrontational with both me and the other new guy talking to us like as if we've been there for years and should know every single thing about the company. Basically then said "if you don't understand something ask a question.." which is fine but every time I asked a question he would mumble some shit under his breath. So it became really hard for me to keep asking questions. Later that day he then came back out and was throwing equipment around breaking it. My buddy that started with me (he was new as well.) we both started on the same day. He was supposed to get off at 4pm and then Dave came out and basically gave him an Ultimatum and said "you can go... but I would highly suggest you don't come back." Implying that if he leaves on time... then he was gonna fire him. So Dave made us stay there 3 hours over time because he was mad. He left his team and then there was three of us. Staying until 8pm. he can ASK us to stay but he made us stay instead. Later that night I got home and I looked him up on Facebook and started posting shit about how his day was bad. Pretty much saying he needed to drink away his frustrations. Like... if you have the need to drink that away then maybe he should leave the customer service industry. If you haven't already noticed this place has some shit ass reviews. I wouldn't suggest that you apply to work here as a tire technician, or get any business done here. Dave is pretty much very immature and I seriously hope someone in charge sees this because this is some crap. I know my rights. read more

Purchased four new Cooper tires from this store for my wife's vehicle. After paying more than $950 I figured she would be set for awhile. Wrong. I should've know something was up when I asked for the alignment sheet and "they lost it"........ The low tire light came on within days. Things happen and I know this, so I checked for punctures and did not see any. I did however notice that all the tires are at different pressures. By saying this I don't mean they were a few psi off, one was at 50, another at 20, one where it should be at 35? And another at 45. I returned and they acted like it wasn't a big deal, and I was inconveniencing them. I get it you work at a tire store, but shouldn't the one thing you be good at is tires?! That's not it though, several more days go by and the low tire returned. Feeling if I'd get arrested if I returned I took it to another local shop that resealed the bead for free. No leaks since. Where do I start??!! I have purchase 4 sets of premium truck tires along with 2 sets of car tires from Tire Discounters over time. The purchase, mount, balance has been fine. Not great. Not bad. However, I recently decided to take advantage of the free rotate, balance, and alignment service provided with the purchase of my tires last fall. The first attempt went poorly. I called to ask if I needed to schedule an appointment and was told to come on up and we will get you right in "bud". I hesitantly said ok. I took my lunch break and headed there. They checked me in and I was told it would be within a hour. I sat patiently for over an hour. My truck never moved from where I parked it. I asked for my keys back and left. They never once communicated with me in regards to the delay. Same exact scenario two weeks later at a different location. The exact same occurrence. Terrible customer service. Keep someone qualified on your sales floor. Make sure they are communicating with their customers instead of giggling to each other while I wait. read more

Well I thought I would give it some time but again they still refuse to fix the issues it's been over 2 months or so.They never did followup or send a refund/parts/service.We haven't forgotten even though I am sure they thought we had.I spoke with my attorney.They responded here on Yelp acting like it was handled at the beginning which wasn't the case at all.I played phone tag/voicemail with Bobby at first,then I emailed him about what had happened (my husband was against emailing him because he wanted to go straight to court.)He thought they would never cooperate due to their status as a big chain store.However I decided to see if tire discounters would make things right.My mistake.And my husband was right indeed.Here is the followup: We were very fair with them and all they did was call us and email back and forth (they had a woman from corporate Susan)try to divulge information over the telephone from us(I knew she was playing devils advocate she was very nice too maybe, too nice) but again giving her the benefit of the doubt I told her plainly about what happened and so did my husband and what the demands/agreement would be to get this straightened out,which was not much.I told her to tell the VP of operations who was coming up with all this blame on us and disbelief about the car situation I would be forced2pursue nationwide media/television/radio/Social media outlets to warn others about tire discounters and what they did to us.She didn't seem overly concerned,but said she would pass the message on.WELL NO DEAL.it's either what we agreed upon below or nothing,and I would pursue litigation and a lawsuit!Now they have left us no choice.& didn't even try to apologize send a refund, parts or service assuming that they won,and unfortunately no one wins in the situation.Bad publicity and reviews don't help,they didn't make it right and blamed us for what they did!!You know folks; it's not all about money, it's about principle and respect and making things right.My life was put in danger of being sent to drive home that evening with 3 lugs on one wheel on the interstate highway,if you have a loved one you wouldn't want someone to let them leave that way alone at night heading home would you?And I had no idea what they did and I trusted them when I left the store.Here was what she sent to the VP of operations (via email) I removed most of the names for privacy.She emailed me this to agree on and I did.This was emailed on January 21st 2017 2:53pm. Hub and bearing for passenger side - Mercedes genuine parts. 10 new wheel lug bolts for right and left side - Mercedes genuine parts. Mercedes dealer alignment $189.00. agrees to put all the parts on Wife's Mercedes with no labor charge to Tire Discounters.They are willing to pick up the Mercedes genuine parts from the store of our choice. Thank you again, Susan (OK folks.please note: I called her right after receiving this email,and told her she had forgotten my $99.00 alignment refund (they couldn't even align my car at all)and she said she would take care of it).She even agreed that it was "Completely reasonable and fair". And she stressed how important over torquing is, and how it can be so dangerous,and they don't take that lightly at tire discounters,I asked for nothing more than to make this right that's it.So my kindness was mistaken for weakness.I have so much indisputable evidence it's unreal and I will post more if needed.The point is I can get technical all day and tell you ever iota "verbatim" of what's happened here but it won't do any good what's done is done.They almost ruined my car completely,the wheel hub is destroyed the entire hub which also requires another new ball joint,the lug bolts are stripped out and other ones stretched, the rotors especially the passenger side are ruined,all due to over-torquing.It's ashamed that a training class was sent to the store and that's all.Those mechanics should have checked their wrenches and settings but they didn't,and to boot another supervisor signs off on the torque so that's 2 people checking incorrect torque specs.80 foot pounds for my car,manufacturer specs and they were torqued to over 120+ a piece on each wheel it's a wonder the other wheels/hubs weren't destroyed.We had to get the pressure off with a breaker bar and it took all my husbands strength to do it, 255+ pound man. It was sickening.Bottom line is they talk a good game but they don't do what they say. Well I do what I say And I won't stop until this is fully resolved.You ruined my car, and you endangered my life.MAKE IT RIGHT.Although your customers won't love you if you give bad service,your competitors will.Remember if you have a problem & TIRE DISCOUNTERS messes up your car "ITS YOUR FAULT!"BAD Service! read more

The Springboro guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to do business with. Our initial interaction involved new wheels and tires and a 4" lift on my Jeep Wrangler. I was talked into a set of tires that I still love. 20,000 miles later, I am getting compliments on these tires from friends and strangers alike. They recently replaced my front and rear brake pads. I asked if they would throw some red paint on the shoes. No problem. Red they are, at no additional cost. In addition to the amazing service of this particular store, don't forget the great deals of the company itself! Free alignment with tire purchase. Free rotation every 5,000 miles. Brought a tire that had gone flat in to be fixed. Just gonna get into the issues I had. I was lied to and my car was forgotten about for 3 or 4 hours even though I brought it in and called first thing in the morning. I then paid 35 bucks for the repair, only to discover a couple days later that my tire was still losing air. Brought it back to tell them about it, showed my repair invoice for proof, they then charge me full price on a brand new tire just to fix what was THEIR mistake in the first place since they didn't do the first repair right. I pay them 35 dollars to fix an issue and they didn't, then they charge me full price to fix THEIR mistake?? Ended up spending about 50 dollars more on this and wasting hours of time because of their bs. Do not give this Tire Discounters your business, you will regret it. read more

We dropped our car off for servicing and we're greeted in a friendly, cordial manner. The technician listened to our concerns and thoroughly explained our options. When we were notified the car was ready, we were delighted to hear a lesser issue was creating the problem and had been fixed at a very reasonable price that was much less than we anticipated. CUSTOMER NO SERVICE Bought a set of tires about 2 years ago and they offer free tire repair and I needed a tire repaired. They were too busy to repair my tire on a Friday and said to come back on Monday. I was told that I did not need an appointment even showing up at 5:00 PM. Showed up on Monday at 4:45 to get my tire repair and was told that I needed to drop off my car and could pick it up until the next day. I stated to them several times that I was told it would not be an issue to get it fixed Monday night and they refused to fix the tire Monday night. Over priced for oil changes. Sent my son to have the oil/filter changed on my Chevy Silverado 3500 diesel knowing that this location had an oil change special today. By the time my son told me it was going to be about $130 they had already drained the oil so I could 't take the truck anywhere else. I usually get the oil changed at Jiffy Lub for under 90, so I confirmed the price at the Springboro Jiffy Lube - $87.32 including tax. When I called Tire Discounters to question the diference they basically said that was their price and that was that. So, having been gouged, I will not be taking any of my vehicles there for tires or any other work. read more

The tires they sold me make really bad road noise tried to tell me that my head gaskets were blown but when asked how they knew could not give me an explanation. When home ready to complete the job and found no problem at all all cylinders checked out no loss of compression or oil. The leak that was said to b oil was from my rack and pinion that ik was bad. Beware they try to get money that's not there making sure to c bad parts and tests before u pay for them and if u are unsure get a second opinion. They aslo did their alignment for buying 4 tires also didn't even do that properly bc pf needing shims to complete the rear still could of actually attend to fix instead of coming up w a bad excuse....add on to responce sorry but u cannot fix this experience when after the tires were placed on the van and I had my wife bein it back bc I felt a vibration and noticed that they were static balanced (witch is ok for some wheels bu not for steel like I have) and the front counter guy accuses her of bad mouth on his techs. She was told what I saw and felt dont attack my wife bc she's a woman and u think she doesn't know any better yall have lost all my return business I would rather pay walmart or another outfit to do the maintenance on these tires duck to this treatment. read more
