Wow, I am kinda shocked at myself that I have never taken the time to post a review. Like... I've had time. Plenty of time. I have been taking my cars here for 13+ years. That's a lot of time. Please don't trust your car to one of the chains. The price tag and "quick turn around" might seem great, but I promise you, you will end up getting burned. Our cars run so well (one of them is going on 19 years in 2026! Crazy!), and I know the whole staff at Centerville is always looking out for our family and not upselling every five seconds. And honestly, the turn around has always blown my mind at CSC. This parking lot is ALWAYS full, and our cars are ALWAYS ready on time (We call ahead for appointments. We have been using this place EXCLUSIVELY for many years. They take great care of their customers, do quality work, and stand behind it. They can handle your emergency but, when it is possible, schedule service a few days out with them. Why? BEACAUSE THEY ARE SO EASY TO WORK WITH they usually have a bit of a backlog. This was our first experience with Centerville Service Center and it won't be our last. My husband's car recently started making a grinding noise when starting up and needed someone to take a look at it to verify it was the starter or if it was something else. We were recommended by a co-worker of my husbands to Centerville Service Center. My husband called on a Friday to ask when they could look at his car. They told him they could get him in Monday morning and that if it was easier for us that the car could be dropped off Sunday because they have a dropbox for keys. That worked a lot easier for us as we have small children. It was very quick to drop off the car and leave the keys. On Monday, it took them under four hours to look at the car, tell us what was wrong, and fix the problem. They were way cheaper then the dealerships and a few of the other service centers we had quotes from so we went with them. Pickup was quick and easy. The only suggestion I would have it they need more parking spaces, but the gentlemen that helped my husband made the same comment to him, so I assume they know already. Had the most horrible experience of my life dealing with a car repair/maintenance. Have an older, original owner 2005 Honda Civic with only 70,000 miles. Took it in for a brake, tire check, and to diagnose and fix a grinding, loud noise sporadically when driving. Picked up car after a call saying car was ready on Wed., Dec. 2, 2020. Immediately had a shocking driving experience. The car shook uncontrollably, especially at an idle, and had a loud muffler sounding dysfunction noise. It was a terrifying driving experience. Took it back to service center immediately. They cannot resolve the original problem much less correct the issues their service caused. They should never have released this car to the owner after the initial so called repair, in such a bad condition. These people came recommended, am a senior citizen, and shocked at their lack of car repair ability. read more

After my last trip, I think I found my go to auto repair center. The employees were extremely kind. They started up conversations with me over my NASA hat, and asked if I had heard the news of NASA finding new planets! While I was waiting, they also referred to many customers by name. Truck would not start. Shop was nice enough to come a block down the road to my truck to see if they could get it started. Identified a bad starter and Harness assy as the culprit. That was the good part. Being in a pickle I had truck towed to their shop. They have a nice shop and are friendly but the cost of repair was high. $720. Remanufactured starter at over $200 is highly questionable. Called a few shops after the fact and most quoted around $400 for the same repair. They service a more affluent area and they do have a good reputation in the area. If you dont mind paying a third more and you want a friendly staff and a nice garage then this shop is probably good for you. read more

Centerville Service Center is fantastic! I was introduced to them about a year ago when I received a voucher for a free oil change my mother-in-law had won. From the moment I stepped foot on the premises and every time since then I was treated warmly and respectfully (which, as a woman, is important to me). Since I have a small child with a car seat, they even go the extra mile and pick me up and drop me off, even for just an oil change. The best part is when one of our cars needed a very expensive repair of over $1800 they were able to secure the entire payment from the warranty company!! We did not have to pay a dime! They are courteous, honest, and very reasonably priced. I will be a customer for as long as I live here. read more

My car recently needed a new battery and I called these guys to schedule an appointment. I was able to book an appointment on Saturday, which is when they usually perform minor services such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Their service was quick: I was out of the shop in 20 minutes. The staff was also friendly. My only suggestion for others would be to bring something to read if you expect to be there a while. The selection of literature includes Good Housekeeping and gun magazines. But hey, it's an auto shop and at least they're appealing to guys and gals, right? read more

A complete scam. Recently took my spouses car here to be diagnosed. I've heard mixed things about centerville auto but wanted to have a first hand experience and potentially give my business to the mom and pop store instead of the auto dealers. Without rambling on for too long I was given a list of things that needed done to the car at a total of 1500$. We asked for a detailed list of what needed done and started calling other places in town. Centerville auto was by far the most expensive. We were able to take the car to a KIA dealership and have the list fixed for 725$. One service centerville auto quoted us at 495$ and another place in town wanted 130$ to perform the same service. This place is a complete rip off and will break your bank if you let them. These are the local guys that should take care of you not charge you double what everyone else in town would. Disappointed in Alan and his team. EDIT AND UPDATE : To ben. The services have already been performed. The numbers I stated in the review are 100% accurate. I have no problem emailing you the printout you gave me and the one I received when I picked my car up. For the services you diagnosed you were the most expensive of 5 local garages. read more

Took my truck to them for antifreeze leak. Work was completed in a day, and have not had an issue with leaking antifreeze since. When I need a repair, this is now my place to get work done. read more

I had to have a headlight replaced and was sent here by my insurance company. Very bad experience from the start. The receptionist was very condescending and rude. The atmosphere was very unfriendly. And the headlight is in crooked. But there is no way I would go back to have them fix it. read more

I grew up in Centerville and I had never been to Centerville Service Center before. I usually go to the dealership for repairs but after the last few experiences at the dealership (over priced and missed diagnosing issues), I called Centerville Service Center based off reviews and very glad I did. I thought I needed new struts but after a couple hours they called me back and said the struts were fine but I did need a lower ball joint and gave me a very fair price and had it done by the following day. After I picked it up the problem was resolved and I cant ever remember going to an auto repair shop where employees where happy to be there. This was a very pleasant experience and have found a hidden gem when it comes to my auto repair needs, no more dealership hassels for me. read more
