I bought the off brand Bridgestone truck tires they had. LT rated tires are phenomenal for the price. Very little road noise and look great. I am not a off-roader and this is not my DD ! They have serviced my truck as well and seemed to be inline with everyone else on pricing. read more

I checked back with them an hour before closing and told me my car was ready long time ago. If not, would have been without the car over the weekend. Didn't put info for car in right and we even went to the car to verify the info. The racial tension was very high & it was very uncomfortable. I wish I could give no stars! Took my car for a Tune Up to Precision Tune on 3/29/25. After the Tune Up, the car cut off 4 times, and began to lose power as I was driving in traffic multiple times (all separate events). Took it back and they gave me a list worth $3,000 of things wrong with my vehicle. I don't deny that the print out has accurate information on it, however the car did none of these things prior to the tune up and no one can explain why it began to happen after they did the Tune Up. I spoke to the staff member who did the tune, and he states he has checked all of his work and the tune up is not the cause of this. They offered to do the work for $3,000, or 2 things for $700 that could "possibly" keep the car from losing power or shutting off. How do I work without a car!? I can't drive a car that loses power in the middle of traffic. I could've lost my life... When you take your car to a shop it's supposed to come out better not worse!! read more

i was driving to Cincinnati from Beavercreek to pick up my grandchildren for day at zoo. My tire pressure light appeared while on 675 , stopped and attempted to put air in tire , but pressure was even lower after . I had my nee tires from location in Beavercreek just a couple months ago . I put Tire Discounters in my GPS and directed to store on Feedwire . Josh was at desk , he got me in right away and Chris fixed the problem, which was a bad vavle stem . He did not charge me and got me back on the road . Had a great day at Zoo . i made an appointment online for tires. i got a confirmation email stating we were good. 3 hours before my appointment, they called to tell me they couldn't do it. i booked them because i had an emergency & they had a same day appointment AVAILABLE AND CONFIRMED. now i have a flat, no appointment, everyone else is closed, & i have to either tow a trailer with a donut spare, or... well, there is no other. i guess it sits. thanks, guys!!! you (aren't) lifesavers after all!! read more

we are from Illinois, but we were in town moving our daughter from Oxford, OH (Miami University grad) to Centerville Ohio. As soon as we were loaded up with cars and the moving truck, I noticed that my vehicle had a very low tire pressure warning. I quickly found someplace to get air in the tire in Oxford so we could drive to Centerville, but I kept losing air in the tire after we made it to Centerville. We dropped our vehicle off on Friday night at Centerville, Firestone and by 10 o'clock the next morning, the nail have been found and the tire was repaired. We were very grateful because we were going to be heading back to Illinois later that day. It was a long busy weekend even though the move went well and it was comforting to know that we could count on Firestone to ensure we would have a safe drive home. We use Firestone in our hometown as well and our son at University of Arizona also uses Firestone in the Tucson area for his Ford F150. read more

My rear brakes were locked up. I had the car towed to Firestone around noon on a Thursday. They called within 30 minutes to let me know what was wrong and what needed done along with the price. I received a call before 4:00 pm that same day to let me know my car was already done and ready for pickup!! The customer service, the work, and the overall experience was amazing. Took my Ford Explorer in for a break check oil change and tire rotation. When I picked it up I specifically asked the sales manager if the brakes were OK and he said they were fine. Less than a week later I heard screeching sounds while braking. I took it back to them and it turns out they never did check the brakes and the brake pads were worn and now I have ruined my rotors which need to be replaced. When confronted about the situation their response was simply to ask me if I wanted to take it to another mechanic. Very dangerous situation read more

I took my car in to have a flat fixed and after $540 they replaced the wheel hub, bearing, abs cable and fixed the flat. When I got the car back the abs light, traction control light, and the brand new brakes were squealing so I took it back and was told it was $90 just to diagnose what they messed up. Guy was nice but the quality was crap. Would never go back. Update: had my personal mechanic check it and The problems were all from the sensor cable they replaced. Now to take it to a shop that can actually fix the problem instead of charge me an absurd amount to finish the job. read more

These guys are AMAZING! As a woman walking into a any auto repair shop- it's frustrating and usually the last thing I, personally wanna do. These guys took such great care of me, were so patient, and very informative. I knew nothing about what was wrong with my car and they gave me the best bang for my buck in fixing my water pump and getting a coolant flush! They even took off $120 that I should've paid because they were honest about what really needed done. Took our car in to have the tires rotated after we had the rear end of car worked on for a week by our mechanic, we were told there were holes in the rear cv axle boot. We told them not to fix them, we have a mechanic we use that had just been working back there and hadn't seen anything like that. Picked the car up and realized the wheels had not been rotated!! The holes were in the exact same place on both boots and approximately the same size. Our mechanic is about 95% sure Firestone punched the holes in them. Just beware! They are very incompetent and apparently shysters :( read more

(Service on 25 Jul 10) When your car makes noises you don't like, and it's late Sat night, and you're some 500 miles from home, well, that's a recipe for a less than wonderful weekend. Especially when the whole purpose is to see your newborn granddaughter, but you got to find a place open on Sunday morning close to the hotel to get things looked at first so that you can make the trip home that evening. Not a good start to the day. I figured an early oil change would at least get a mechanic under the hood; then maybe I would get an idea of what I was facing. Thankfully, I came across this Firestone on Google and Chris took care of my ride. They had a $10 online discount advertised on Google/Yelp for an oil change, but I had a problem pulling it up at the desk. The guy there said not to worry and rang it up anyway. In the back, Chris was able to diagnose what the problem was. True, the fix was going to be a lot more than they could manage on a Sunday morning, but he got me informed and back on the road, and when I got home my usual car guy confirmed what Chris told me at the time. These guys are squared away. They treated me and my family well and they even let me go in the back to talk cars with the guys. I am very grateful for their help. read more

I took my car in on Thursday evening for a broken power steering belt. It took them until Sunday to get the car ready for me to pick up. We are a one car family and this was our only means of getting around. I rented a a car as recommended by the service people at a very high rate under the impression that I could use my Firestone credit card to pay for it, but instead it came out of my money which was set aside for my monthly bills. I am sure they could have had the car ready on Friday as they knew Friday what need replaced. They claim they don't have the staff to do all the work. If that be the case they need to hire more staff to help in the repair department. After I picked up the car on Monday and returned the rental, I drove the car to an appointment across town and it overheated and the check engine light came on. I ended up having to have it towed from the north end of Dayton back to the repair shop in the late night hours. Good thing I had towing through my insurance or I would have had another added expense that was incurred because of their shoddy repair work. I could tell they had not taken it out for a test drive to make sure everything was connected properly or this problem would have shown up before I got clear across town and had to be towed. This has been a complete inconvenience for me and the other family members who rely on this car for a means of getting to and from their job or other obligations that we have. I am sure I am not the only one this has happened to and I am sure I won't be the last. read more

My husband took his car in as he had an appointment to get the brakes replaced because they started squealing and a tire rotation. The shop inspected the brakes first to determine if they needed replacing and said the squealing was from the transmission and the brakes were fine (the squealing was from the brakes, which were replaced by someone else at a later date). They said the battery life was very low so my husband agreed for them to replace it. The store did not mention they had to order the battery from another store so we called several hours later after we received no word on the progress. My husband picked up the car and found he had been charged for an inspection, which was supposed to be included with the life of the tires, but he decided to let it go as he just wanted his car back. On the way home he noticed his car felt like it was going to stall several times. After running some errands we had a hard time getting the car started again because it kept stalling out, which was never an issue before the battery was replaced. He looked under the hood and noticed there were plastic pieces from installing the new battery, which should have been thrown out, all over the engine compartment. He took the car back to Firestone and was told that the issue was some cars will stall like that when a new battery is put in because the car is "learning", but they said they would check it out. My husband waited in the lobby of the store and it took almost an hour until someone took the car around back to take a look. Turns out when Firestone replaced the battery on the car they did not follow the proper steps Subaru requires when replacing a battery and the stalling was a result of that. The store had to contact a Subaru dealer to find out these steps, installed the battery, following proper procedures this time, and the car has had no issue with stalling since. Had the store followed the proper procedure in the first place we would not have wasted several hours of our day trying to get the car working. Also, I would consider a battery replacement to be a fairly easy repair on a car so it concerns me that Firestone is doing these replacements without knowing the proper steps for various car models. My husband was offered a free oil change as an apology, but if Firestone can't manage a battery replacement there is no way we're trusting them to change the oil. read more

I had a tire blow out on a Sunday before I was supposed to drive back to college. I called several places and drove around on a sketchy spare trying to find the right tire size. I called here and the manager, John I believe, was so helpful. He walked me through how to figure out the size of my tire and put the tire in in less than 20 minutes after taking it to him. He was very easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this location purely on this interaction! read more

Where do I even start? Three months and 6 visits to get a proper exhaust system replacement on my 2002 Saturn LS. A continual comedy/tragedy of incompetence, apathy, and poor communication. At the first visit, the wrong parts were put in, which began to rattle terribly within a hundred miles of driving. Four times I brought it back in, and they "tightened" it, yet failed to identify that they had installed the wrong parts. The fifth time, they figured this out. I left my car with them for four business days, then called to check in; they said it was ready for pick-up. Then when I got there, I found out that it wasn't ready at all, and that the parts hadn't even arrived yet. I contacted corporate twice and a regional representative finally called me back and got me set up with a rental car for my work commute while my car was worked on for the next five days. Firestone covered the rental cost, but I still had to pay $80 of insurance on it. Anyways, finally on my 6th visit, I was able to pick up my vehicle with a working exhaust system with the right parts, and now it doesn't rattle anymore. But this whole ordeal cost me a lot of time and energy. No compensation of any sort -- whether a discount or a coupon or otherwise -- was ever offered for my trouble. Needless to say, I'm never coming back. I'm canceling my Firestone card and account and finding a new mechanic. I am sad about this, because my previous Firestone branch in Riverside was great for the last 8 years when I lived up there. But I am in Kettering now and I have a life to live, and I can't spend it on endless trips to the mechanic to fix the same problem. I'm done. read more

I have used this location for maintenance and repairs for our 3 vehicles over the past two years and have spent more than $2,600 on these services over that time frame. I have been satisfied in the past, and their location (less than 3 miles) to my home has made it convenient to drop a vehicle off for service. Unfortunately, my recent experience with them was quite negative. The engine on our Kia minivan died while driving home on July 4. We were able to jump the van and subsequently dropped it off at Firestone the following day for them to look at it. They said the alternator needed to be replaced (which was reasonable because the vehicle has 160,000 miles and we have not previously replaced the alternator). They replaced the alternator that day, and I picked it our vehicle that evening. However, about 1.5 miles from home the engine died, and I was unable to keep the engine running after jumping the battery. So, I paid to have the vehicle towed back to Firestone. They said that the alternator that they put in the vehicle was defective, so they replaced it 2 days later. Three weeks later, we were in Canada on vacation and the engine died again while we were driving on the highway. We were practically in the middle of nowhere on a Friday evening and not familiar with the area, but I found that there was a Kia dealership about 20 min away and another 20 min from our hotel. I then paid to have the vehicle towed (for the second time) the next morning, and thankfully the Kia dealership said they would look at the problem (on a Saturday afternoon). The Kia dealership said the alternator was not working (no current running). So, we paid to have the alternator replaced again, and the vehicle was ready in time for us to drive back to Dayton on Monday morning. I stopped in to the Firestone to address the issues with my previous alternators and was told that there are Firestones up in Canada that could have dealt with my problem and that there was nothing they could do because I didn't bring the faulty alternator in with me. It seems to me that something more could have been done to address their installing 2 faulty alternators and me having to have my vehicle towed twice within 3 weeks. Thus, I see no reason to return to this Firestone ever again, and I would warn other customers to be wary as well. read more

They do good work at fair prices and are polite and very responsive. It is rare they I trust mechanics, but the Firestone staff has won me over. read more
