Tire Discounters answered my review in an attempt to show that they care about customers. In the short reply he asked for an invoice number and acted like he wanted to get to the bottom of how badly I was treated. When I left the shop, I angrily threw any paperwork away that they had given me, so forget about me supplying an invoice number! As you can see from the negative reviews, I am not the only one they treated this way. Come on, trying to get me to buy a whole set of new tires for a simple tire plug job! That is just unconscionable. That place will never see my face again. I bet the same guy who tried to pull the con job on me is the one who wrote the reply to my review. I'm a very patient person, I came in and stood at the front desk while 3 people were up there. 1 was busy working on the phone and the other 2 I thought were busy as well. Stood there for the longest time and finally the 2 (older man with white beard) that were talking say "oh you need help?". Turns out they weren't even busy working on anything they're just yapping and oblivious. They were busy so I expected to wait a few hours. I waited for 3 hours, but it wasn't necessary because my car had been fixed and no one had notified me, so I was just sitting in their waiting area for no reason. Again, trying to be patient and not be that guy but I'm so glad I got up and asked if it was ready. Unnecessary waste of time and bad communication. twice now they have told me my truck needs parts when I take it somewhere else and it doesn't. I build cars as a hobby and take my truck in this week after replacing every front end part and they tell me my tie rods are seized. $772 + $165 alignment. I get the keys and take it to my friend at the porsche dealer down the road and it's done in less than 2hrs with no new parts and it's been on an actual test drive. THEY WILL SWINDLE YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY AT THIS LOCATION. use to have great service at the Bridgewater falls location before I moved away. read more

Transparency, urgency, customer service. Highly unprofessional. Came in first thing in the morning with no one in the shop. It took them 3 hours to change one tire. When asked, they said they couldn't find the parking break. I drive a Nissan Altima. Which happens to also be in bay as well. Just must've been a tough day for miserable people. Lazy group of guys who don't want to work and have no character. Was told it takes 1 hour to change 1 tire. I arrived at open and was here for close to 2 1/2 hours. Once I requested a refund, they said it would only take 10 minutes. Poor character. Poor work ethic. Poor customer service. read more

They always do a great job for me at Tire Discounters! I've been coming here for several years with multiple vehicles. Oil changes, new tires, serpentine belt, etc. In my experience they have always treated me right. My last visit, I got all the things I listed above. I thought I may need a new idler pulley along with a new serpentine belt, but they let me know I didn't need a new pulley and saved me a few dollars. Had an appointment for 930am drop off my car night before with drop box. With every person I talk with told them multiple times has to be done by 3 pm so I can leave for work.get there at 3 was told till need an hour. After that hour get up and check was told still need 45 min to another hour. There main selling point of free alignment with 4 tires would much rather pay for it to shop that respects your time. I called in somewhat in a panic, had a complete flat, asked to come in around 7:30pm right before closing. David answered and said to come on in and he'd be able to look at it. As soon as I got there he took care of it, filled the air in, checked for air leaks, fixed the valve stem, and had someone fill up the rest of the tires and torque them to spec. The very worst place to get tires. Managers are assholes. Sit for hours and they do nothing but lie. I bought tires there many times but never again. Go someplace besides here unless you have a whole day to sit and wait and then they tell you the alignment guy isn't in and you have to come back for that. These guys always go above and beyond at this location I drive 35min more just to get my tires done here. Super reliable, will have your tires ordered the next day if there not in stock. I've been able to do same day Appt with them allowing me to be squeezed in. It's been 3yrs I've been coming here. They are ALWAYS BUSY (which is a good thing) but they do tell you a realistic time frame of how long it will take and if you want to drop your vehicle off or wait. I've purchased several sets of tires and had more oil changes than I can remember. recently the service has been terrible. I bought 4 Michelin's and an oil change before going out of town. the drivers tire bounced the whole way and they spilt oil on engine. while never resetting the oil life indicator. came back in town to have tires rotated and oil change and check balance. dropped truck off at 8am and didn't get back until after 2. that's with an appointment. when I picked up my low tire pressure was on and the drivers rim looked liked the technician left grease all over It Had to go back in so they could put air in tires and clean rim so another Hour of my time. Maybe this tire Discounters by Dayton mall just has bad service. read more

They don't have a whole lot if you're on a budget, especially at $29.99/per tire installation. Sure, they have a cheaper option, but I needed the front end alignment. The process was easy, and quick. I went to this Tire Discounters because I needed tires. I have bought tires from this location three times before for other vehicles I owned, and I have never had a problem. The services has always been fine. On my most recent visit Tommy assisted me with picking out tires. He provided me with the information and let me make the choice about which tires I felt were best ones for me. He took time to explain the specials and how that would affect the price. I did not feel rushed. He made me feel like a valued customer. I had to have my tires shipped to the store. Tommy followed up with me the next day to let me know they were ready for the install. He got me scheduled in, and once I took the car over they started work right away. Installation was quick and I was as they say "out the door with more". Very convenient. Instead of explaining the process of the warranties,I was talked down to like I was a child not by one employee but two. On two different occasions. I can't say enough about their customer service at this location. I called in a panic after their closing hours and they answered my questions to set an appointment the next morning. Upon arriving I upgraded the tires I originally wanted with no problem. There was a problem delaying the work beyond the timeline he stated. They kept me (and other customers) informed while doing everything they could to get the parts there quickly and me off to work while only missing minimal time. After my car ended up in a ditch on the side of the highway on a road trip, I stopped at Tire Discounters in an emergency. I was very stressed out and the people at Tire Discounters (Ben specifically) were extremely nice and kind. They helped calm me down and took a look at my car. When I thought I would of had to purchase 4 new tires, they were able to just repair my broken tire FOR FREE. I was worried about how much money this was going to cost me and they didn't even change me for the labor! Genuinely nice people. I'd like to warn everyone about Tirediscounters...I went in here earlier this week for routine maintenance and after I left my car started overheating ....turns out they purposely drained my car COMPLETELY of coolant so I would have to come back to them so they could try to fix things that weren't wrong with it. This place has been simply wonderful every time we have gone. We needed new tires so we took our vehicle here. Other places we have been to ways try to sell additional services, but they did not. We are the ones who realized we also needed an oil change, and they took care of that as well. Well, last week we were due for another oil change and they realized our tires were out of alignment since the last time we were there. They fixed our tires at no cost and the oil change was quick and easy! We will continue to go there for our services. read more

I brought my car in with no appointment so I expected to wait there until the service was finished. I had no clue what was wrong with my car but they figured it out quickly and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. They are kind and keep you posted about the progress being made on your car so you don't feel ignored. The customer service here is awful. I called to make sure they could fix a nail in my tire and they said no appointment necessary, come on in. When I came in on my lunch break they told me 1.5 hour wait... after sitting for 25 minutes and my car still hadn't been touched, I asked if there was a possibility of me getting done in the next 30 minutes since I had to be back at work. In the past I shopped at the store in Middletown. I decided to try this on as it is a little closer to home. I bought new tires last year and was happy with the service. I returned to the store to have the tires rotated but was told that I had to have an appointment. I never needed one at Middletown. I made an appointment and had the rotation done. I made an appointment for 1:00 yesterday for the next rotation. I arrived about 15 minutes early and was told they would get me right in. At 1:18 I was still waiting for them to start on my car. During this time 3 people waiting with me were called to pick up their finished vehicles. I asked why my car was not being worked on and was told that they double booked the time slot and the other car was done first. They finally took my car at 1:37 and finished it at 1:58. You should not have to wait for 37 minutes before your car is worked on when you take the time to make an appointment. I will be going back to Middletown for my next rotation and a different store the next time I need tires. read more

A word of caution, when dealing with the public as a service manager don't ever blame another entity when attempting to appease an upset customer. Case in point; today this very thing happened to me. I dropped my car off to have brakes repaired and after 6.5 hours, the brake problem was not resolved. The manager addressing my dissatisfaction and frustration, never once apologized, which I find reprehensible in the service industry. Probably the worst tire discounters I've ever been to. The guys at the front were very rude and made fun of us for having a flat tire. Then they stated that only two cars were in front of us in line yet way more than those 2 cars were finished first. This store especially, but others in the same area are quick to sell you something new, but horrible at supporting customers after the sale. I bought 4 new, very expensive tires and wheels which included rotations and alignments. Each time I stopped by this store, or made an appointment for those services - they said the technician was unavailable. Then i tried other local stores, same deal. Then somehow they lost my lug tool and I did not notice for a few weeks, but when I did, I asked them to order me a new one. Two weeks go by, and they don't call me, so I called twice and they said 'Ben" was not available and I'd have to wait for him to come back to work, but they were not sure when that would be.
