Store Manager Kirk left my engine running with drain plug removed and no oil. I was standing next to the car watching the techs at work when suddenly my Hybrid Camry switched from electric to engine power because Kirk did not turn the car off properly. All the techs working started to yell frantically, and Kirk rushed to the car to turn the engine off. After I asked if they could document the incident in case of engine failure in the future. Kirk laughed and said no and kicked me out of the service area. Upon completion of the service, I again asked for documentation, and he said he needed to call his boss and ask him how to handle the situation. At this point, I started recording. Kirk then came back and said there was nothing he could do and that I needed to pay and leave. When he was asked about his side of the story, he said he had already given it to me, although he hadn't. Later, he admitted he was not in the room when the engine turned on, cut off the electricity, and switched to engine power. He then told me the oil change was on the house, so I called that suspicious, and he revoked the offer. After I paid, he left the office, and that's when the tech who was working on the oil change admitted on camera that the engine was on. read more

They did oil change and did not tighten my oil drain plug all the way down so I was driving on the highway when all of my oil spilled out of my 60,000 dollar truck and my engine seized up. Do not ever use this Jiffy Lube ever. They are very incompetent and I'm having trouble getting the company to pay for their damages to my vehicle. They told me they were going to pay everything in full and pay for my rental vehicle, but have done nothing of the sort. I currently have my vehicle at Walker Toyota, where it is waiting to be worked on. They're stalling and putting my keys to the very bottom. To be honest, I was a bit over due for an oil change but with a busy schedule and not s lot of extra cash I hadn't had the chance to get it done. I saw a Groupon so I jumped! When you go to this location pull directly in front of an open bay. Someone pointed out one to me and immediately came to my car to ask what services I needed. I explained that it was my first time there and I needed an oil change and the guy instructed me to turn off my car and guided me to the waiting area while explaining they would be right in to check me in. After a quick check of the car the same man came in and explained the different types of oil they offer and showed me my engine air filter which was pretty gross. He told me that Ford recommends changing them every 30k miles which I verified online. He did not balk when I explained I would be using a Groupon and did not try to pressure me at all. I felt confident that he was giving me facts and choices and was ok with whatever my choices were. (I did get the filter for $20 because I don't know when it was changed last, it's a new to me used car) After a 20 minute wait (if that) my tires had been rotated, my oil changed and my car completely vacuumed out, a nice bonus! I went to this place a couple of days ago to get an oil change and a fluid check. However, they charge a whopping $48 for this service on my toyota camry!! I was overdue for an oil change so I went ahead with it and I whipped out my $5 coupon which reduced it to $42 and change. But I just kinda told them to use transmission fluid if my power steering fluid was low, to which they replied "no, it's power steering fluid for that". To which I replied ""No, it's TRANSMISSION FLUID for the power steering". Thank goodness they said it was full, but what dope doesn't know that toyota uses transmission fluid for the power steering? Furthermore, they were supposed to vacuum the inside of the car and clean the windows... They didn't.... My advice? AVOID THIS PLACE. Too expensive and too dumb and lazy. Greeted by super friendly, courteous auto tech. My service was completed quicker than I was able to check out at the CVS next door. I didn't like the price of the tire rotation at $19.99, but I can overlook that. The guys were very knowledgable and top both customer service. Recommended me a cheap place to get the holes in my tires filled from nails being in them. They also marked them off. They vaccummed my floors which was desperately needed. Cleaned my windshields also for free. Never will go any where else. read more

Today I got an oil change at this location and it was my worst experience at a jiffy lube in the 7 years I've been a customer. Ryan D. was the cause of this. When he came up to my car he didn't say hello back or introduce himself, (I wouldn't if I was that unprofessional either). It didn't get any better during the corse of my too long oil change. When he told me the total I informed him I had a $20 off coupon, which he responded to with "not for here, best I got is $15 off. When I showed him the coupon that was emailed to me he said "nope thats for CA". I pointed out it says not applicable in CA OR NY. He then said "I'll go look but I dont think its a coupon" when he came back he stuck to his story of no coupon but he never even got the code from me. After the purchase he did not thank me or invite me to come back. I was emailed this coupon and honestly it feels like he stole $5 from me. And in a time where my income has been reduced by half due to COVID-19 thats a huge amount to me. I've never felt so disrespected while getting a simple oil change. Not only did they try to get me to pay for things I didn't need but they didn't even do what there little print out said they did. No windshield washer fluid added,no tire inflation, and couldn't even reset the oil LGT in my car. When you pay $90 for a oil change they could at least do what they advertise. Caution. If you are planning on taking your car for an oil change at 897 S. Main Street, Centerville, Ohio, using a Groupon and thought the cost you paid was the end of it, know that you will be expected to pay taxes, even though Groupon's website specifically states if sales tax is to be collected it will be in the fine print. OK so what is the big deal!? You got taxed $3.33 you had to pay for? The big deal is, first, I should not have been taxed at all. And the really big deal is the Assistant manager, Hubert N. who decided the best way to keep a customer who brings them multiple vehicles a year was to tell me the problem is between me a Groupon. I told Hubert that he might want to bring this to managements attention to get the correction taken care of. I told him all he would have really needed to do is to tell me he would do that and I most likely would have walked away. He chose instead to tell me after representing himself again as the assistant manager that "It is not my job to kiss ass." Oh Hubert. You did so screw up. I brought this all to the attention of the regional manager who told me Hubert should not have been interacting with customers to begin with. I second that thought. He said he would make sure Hubert does not in the future. Let me ask you. Do you really want Hubert anywhere near your car? I have had great service with them up to this point. Extremely poor service during recent visit. Ordered tires online (as they were recommended vendor) and after they received they notified me to come in to have installed. I did and waited over two hours before they called me to tell me they could not install (their machine could damage tires - and was not large enough). Nothing was done to compensate my time or frustration, as they seem to have enough business. I will not use them any more for anything. read more

I went in to get an oil change, my spark plugs changed and tires rotated. The (work) was done they put my car outside said I was good to go. I went to my car and noticed that they didn't rotate my tires. So I go back in to tell them they didn't rotate my tires. The lady at the counter was telling they did. I tell her that it wasn't done and would like it done because I paid for it to be done. So they bring it back in to rotate the tires. And tell me they forgot a discount. Then proceeded to tell me that they wasn't able to change my spark plugs which they already charged me for and was going to send me out the door without telling me. So I have to get refunded for the non service that was provided. Please don't go here terrible Communication between employees and management. For the past 1.5 years I have been taking my car and truck into this Jiffy Lube location utilizing the $36 GROUPON (Oil Change, rotation and Rain-X). The service has been fine until today. While waiting on my car to be serviced a lady entered the shop from the front of the entrance asking about the price of an oil change. She was outraged at the walk-in price of $54, but Mark, the manager, stated that she could pull up a $10 coupon if she had a smart phone. She stated that she couldn't afford a phone but agreed to have the car's oil changed since she had not had it done in a while. While listening to this conversation, I pulled up the $10 coupon on my phone and walked up to the counter and asked Mark if he would take the coupon from me. The lady was thrilled and said to me Merry Christmas and God Bless You, while Mark looked at me with a cold stare. His response to her was, don't worry about a coupon I will take care of the bill, go out for lunch and we will have the car ready for you when you get back. When the lady left the store, Mark spoke to me to let me know that he did not appreciate me getting involved in the transaction and that I had no business giving her a coupon for the service. He stated that he did not appreciate it and to next time stay out of it. First of all, why should this manager even care if a corporate coupon you can get from the national website gets used at his store. Second, an employee of any establishment should never talk to a customer the way I was spoken to, especially when the act was just helping out a fellow patron who looked as if they were working to just get by. It appears that Mark has a history of being rude to customers and now I am going to take my business somewhere else. Please do not give any money to this location, the Grinch manages this store. Poor Customer Service The manager was yelling at the employees while I was waiting to talk to him about an issue that I had. I tried to approach him calmly with my issue since I knew he was already being very tense with his employees. He did nothing to try and solve my problem, even after one of the employees broke the head off a bolt on my car. When I mentioned it to him, he told me "Bolts break". He made no attempt to fix the problem. I guess it is my responsibility to have it fixed. Obviously I will never be a customer of the Centerville Jiffy Lube again. read more

I have never left a poor review on any business, and I feel terrible doing so now, but I had such a horrid experience with this location. I took my car there the other night, and all seemed to go well. I was in and out pretty quickly and headed home. On my way to work the next day (I commute all the way to cincinnati), I started to hear an awful sound from underneath my car. It sounded as if something was dragging. I didn't notice anything at first glance, so I figured I would just address it when I got home. Well, on the way home from work the sound got louder and louder, followed by loud bangs from underneath my car. When I pulled in my driveway, I noticed a big metal thing hanging from the bottom of my car!!! I called Jiffy Lube and went straight over. The manager, who was very nice at least, told me they had a new guy on who worked on my car. This guy didn't screw in the bolts of my skid plate, and all the bolts came lose on my commute to work besides one. He said I was lucky to not lose the last bolt. Are you kidding me?!? So I dragged my skid plate along the highway for over 40 miles because some new guy didn't screw in the bolts. They are lucky I wasn't in an accident. He offered me two free oil changes in return, but I must admit that I will probably just give these away. I will never go back to this location after this. Just wanted to write a review to give a warning about the service attendants' lack of care. read more

Cliff notes: Extremely overpriced with an opaque list of services. Do not go here. I would normally never go to Jiffy Lube and was brought in through the door by Groupon, which promised an oil change, tire rotation, window treatment and vacuuming for $30. Though synthetic oil having an upcharge was written clearly on the Groupon, I never would have thought the cost of the oil would be $45 in addition -- altogether twice the price of a full oil change at other places. This is what I would expect to pay at a dealership, not at a chain oil changing place that can't take care of real problems if they should come up. In addition, the task of vacuuming the floors was simply not done, or at least not noticeably done. Given that, I'm not sure the tire rotation was done, either. I'm not sure what I paid for here.
