We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I trusted him and he lied several times. I am now at a mechanic shop hats legit and have had to get ANOTHER rental car for the week. This guy has lied and set me back almost 1500 and my car is in the same condition as it was 13 days ago. Do not trust him

The fuel filter itself is a $30 to $40 part, and swapping it is basic maintenance, not some engine-out surgery. Then they hit me with a $250 charge for that alone because of "labor." Absolute joke. This place clearly thinks diesel owners are clueless and willing to pay whatever number they throw on the invoice. Nothing about this service justified that price. No transparency, no reasonable breakdown, just inflated charges and excuses. An oil change on a Duramax already costs more than a gas truck because of oil capacity and filter size, but this was pure gouging. If you own a diesel truck, avoid this shop unless you enjoy getting fleeced. There are plenty of honest diesel shops that won't treat routine maintenance like a luxury exotic-car service. I'll never come back, and I'd strongly recommend other diesel owners stay far away.
