This place is just a good old boy hangout. Every time I've gone here there has always been a number of people who look like they are just hanging out smoking or spitting tobacco. The last experience I had with them, I sent my son there to get his oil changed, because the oil was black as coal. Went he returned home I checked The oil and it was still black, they had not changed the oil. We returned to their shop and showed them that the oil had not been changed, then the receipt for the oil change. He seemed to be more disappointed he got caught than he did to ripped us off. He offered to do it right this time, but I got a refund instead and just never went back. Flash forward a few years and I'm sitting in my car in an adjacent parking lot to their garage and see the good old boys Hanging out again and I can't tell if they work there or not. See pictures It is obvious that the owner cares little about customer service since the reviews here have a common theme of dishonest and down right theft. I see at Jiffy Lube post apologies for poor service, but never takes any action against the franchise owner. Needless to say, this reflex poor on their brand, which most companies guard closely. So is this just the way it is at Jiffy Lube now? What a sad statement to what was once a great brand with great service. read more

As a small business owner myself, I don't give bad reviews without a lot of thought. But I found this shop to be so dishonest and horrible that I feel compelled to share my experience with others in the Boro so they won't be swindled by these crooks. About a month ago I was worried that my oil was overdue for a change and I had to go out of town the next morning. It was the evening and I didn't have time to get it done at my favorite shop so I decided to pop in and just let Jiffy Lube do it. As I was waiting for the oil to be changed, the technician told me that they had checked my brakes and they were almost worn out. 5-10% at best they said. They made it sound like I was going to be in trouble if I didn't get them done ASAP. They even tried to point out that my daughter was with me and I was putting her at risk! They were good. What the assholes didn't know was that I had just had my Jeep over at Schmidt Auto Care the previous week getting some work done and they had told me the brakes were fine! I didn't tell them that and said I'd be back in a couple days just to get out of there. So for the last month I've been bothered by this and yesterday had my brakes checked again. They are fine. Not even halfway to the end of their life! These guys are much more than incompetent...although from reading other reviews it's clear they are that as well.... they are dishonest and have no integrity. And we all know that scams like this aren't done if management/owner isn't rotten as well. If I could give them 0 stars I would. DO NOT EVER GO HERE!! read more

So I'm at Jiffy Lube in Springboro for an oil change. Their free visible brake inspection says my front & back pads need replaced. Problem is, I replaced them 3 months ago. Then they tried to sell me a front line differential and a air filter. I said all I wanted was an oil change. Oil change costs $101. I will never be back. read more

Half of the employees weren't wearing uniforms. One employee tried to take advantage of my wife by telling her that her van couldn't take conventional oil. And the best thing by far is the picture I have is one of them hanging over the engine with a lit cigarette hanging out his mouth. read more

When we first got to the store they didn't have the door open but they had been open for 45 minute. none of the workers were wearing masks even though they had a mask required sign in their lobby. read more

So the past two times I have gone here I have been unimpressed. The one time I had to actually go to centerville to get help since their equipment was broken, understandable. This time they stated they couldn't lift my mini van for a tire change due to their lift. So your telling me the one in the town over has the capability but you don't? Done with this place. Great Service! Recently went in and dealt with Leighton and Austin. One was the Customer Service associate, and the other was the manager I believe. Both were SO knowledgeable. Each of them recommended what services would be best for my car but didn't make me feel uncomfortable or that I was being "pushed" into anything. The service was quick, and friendly. I knew I shouldn't have come here. A friend of mine was just here 2 weeks ago. He is a car guy and took his company car here for an oil change. They tried to tell him that he needed brake pads and that they were already approved to be fixed. Again, my friend knows cars and he knew for a fact that he didn't need brakes. Well I came here anyway for my company car oil change. 18,000 miles and they try to do the same thing to me. Telling me my brake pads need replaced. Unbelievable. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I came here to get my tires replaced. They replaced all four of my tires I paid for brand new. The front two tires were leaking air. When I brought it in the guy aired up my tires and told me if they get low bring it back. Of course they got low, so I called the manager and brought the car back up to the shop. After them pulling the tire off and trying to figure out what was wrong the manager then had another employee tell me what was wrong. The employee told me they couldn't find anything wrong and it could be the rim. They resealed it and sent me on my way. With my tires still losing air. I eventually brought it to the tire discounters down the street where they told me the valve stem and something else needed fixed. When we left tire discounters I went back to jiffy lube to complain and they told me he didn't know why his employee handled it that way, and they didn't fix my tire because they didn't have the right tools to fix it with at the time, but they never told me that. They told me it was my rim, when they didn't have the correct sealant to fix it. Awful service will not recommend to anybody. You've lost my service for good jiffy lube. My thoughts of my visit to Jiffy Lube in Springboro are as follows. No professionalism. The place is dirty, with all the folks standing around, you would think they could clean the place. None the less. I brought my company car in months ago for an oil change, and just as others have said, they said I needed brakes pads and rotors.The van had only about 20,000 - 30,000 miles. It should not have needed brakes. I went to the Centerville Jiffy lube since and then a Goodyear. Neither said I need brakes. My most recent visit, 50,000 miles. I came in for an oil change, none the less they said I needed brakes. I told them I did not have time now. They said they would check with the fleet manager for approval. In the meantime, they told me I could not get an invoice at the time and they would email it to me. I received it later that day, surprised to find that they had charged for brake pads and rotors.Since I thought it would be more of a hassle to contact the fleet manager and Jiffy Lube to have the invoice revised, and the fact that I was over 50,000 miles I decided to have the brakes fixed. I called Jiffy Lube early on Friday and asked how long it would take and when was the best time to come in. I was told to come in after lunch. I arrived after lunch, they only had 3 people working. There were 2 cars ahead of me so I said I would wait. I was told it would be 10/20 minutes before they would start and then about 30 more mins. I waited for more than an hour and watched others come and go. When I went out to check on how much longer it would be I was confronted by the technician. I think he wanted to have a physical altercation. I was told it could be an hour or it could be 5 hours. I was told he was short handed. I don't think he had anyone there who was competent to do a brake job. He was very aggressive and lacked all customer service and professional skills. It was apparent that their problems, were in fact my fault and that it is what it is. I called the 800 number for customer service to discuss my experience. Nothing will come from it, I really believe this is the culture of this business. Management is out of touch and probably only focus on the money, not the service. Unskilled labor, no customer service skills and lack of professionalism is what this location is all about. In the end I was there for 2 hours. I will never return and will report this company to my fleet manager in hopes of having them removed from our nationwide program. read more

Everyone is always very friendly when I go to get my oil changed and they are very fast as well. Not like other places like grismer where you need an appointment and it takes over an hour. I'm always in and out super quick. read more

Very unprofessional crew, specially 1 who I always see there. He turned me away after realizing I had a groupon by saying it will take 1 hour and other person came and said I don't know why he is saying that but he can do the oil change right away and he did it. But did not check the tire pressure and even though the light was on for tirepressure they never fixed it. I had bought 2 groupons and since this is the one near my house I had to use both the groupons at this same Jiffy lube for my 2 cars and had a similar experience from that guy. I don't know how JiffyLube works but it seems he had no concern if he got my business in future, and he succeded in doing it as i'm never going to a JiffyLube again. read more
