I took my truck in for an oil change, my first (and last) visit here. I knew I was getting close to needing another oil change so I checked the little reminder sticker on my windshield and realized the mileage they reported was 50K higher than my actual mileage. Whether you know it or not, when these repair shops service your vehicle, they load your mileage into "the system" that goes directly to your vehicle history (Carfax), and there is no "fixing" it. Then, when the next place inputs the correct mileage, and you eventually want to sell your car, it looks like you've tampered with the odometer. What's worse, when I went back in to "try" to get it fixed, I was met with an "oh well, mistakes happen" attitude. Moral of the story: ALWAYS check your mileage BEFORE and AFTER a service appt...and NEVER go to Tire Choice. read more

Been coming here for years, there's no consistency with the team, but not only that now the prices are insane $130.00 for an oil change and tire rotation? I should have just gone to Toyota, the wait is the same. The new staff change now wants to sell you stuff even before they look at your vehicle. Not a good experience and probably the last time I come here. They also broke my oil cap, and replaced it for me but made it seem like they were helping me by replacing it, if this is the only place I get my oil change they were the ones who broke the cap. read more

I went in and had my entire front axle checked. They told me everything was completely fine. Six days later, I drove 10 hours through bad weather with an infant. After 10 hours, I stopped at a different mechanic's shop only for them to show me how bad my CV joints were. They couldn't go from "fine" to absolutely threaded in 6 days. After the trip, I went back in to tire choice to tell them what happened and see if they would make it right, give me a discount, or put forth any effort to avoid this in the future. Had a nail in my tire that I wanted plugged, unfortunately my tread was a little too low to accomplish that and I needed a new tire. While the price wasn't the cheapest in town the service made up for it. The managers and shop guys are car guys and know what they are talking about. That also makes up for the slightly higher price. You know when your truck comes out and the tire is properly aligned with the valve stem they know what they are doing. Not many places or people know that the yellow dot is supposed to be aligned with the valve stem for balance. Anyway I'll definitely go back for 2 more tires when needed. read more

We found this place because my mom's tire had a screw. They fixed the issue and to our surprise there was no charge! We bought them a round of coffee and they were grateful. Two weeks later my husband has two flat tires on a Sunday morning : / I told him about these guys and off we went to fix the tires. Griffin explained the tires were too old and made a recommendation for new ones. We got the Goodyear tires with Kevlar which are designed for bad conditions. So I have to update because more event occurred while I was preparing to leave. So to start my truck that go the oils change and tires filled with air was fine. But they told me my tires are from 2016 and would need to change them soon. Once I talked to my dad he looked through his paperwork and the tires are actually from 2018 (back) and 2020 (the front). So I don't know where they are getting that except to hopefully get me to say okay ya change them. But with the other vehicle we were told it would take 30 minutes to bring the car down after we decided we no longer would get the breaks changed due to them taking way to long and not updating us on their error. We left for about 25 minute and come back with the car still lifter and the mechanic holding an oil pan, apparently the lay 2 and a half hours was not enough time to drain the oils out of the car!? It ends up being an hour before they start checking us out and they say it's gonna be $669. Which was a shock considering we said to not do the breaks and just the oil change. Which my friend reply's did you do the breaks and they say yes. I was very upset and expressed that as we no longer consented to the breaks and they did them anyways and made us wait an hour when we had somewhere to go. We asked to not do them because of this and they blatantly disregarded our request because we would've gone somewhere else for cheaper. We had to express all of the faults and errors on their part and point out the terrible customer service and then they decided to give a 20% discount. Which ya that's great but I shouldn't have to be upset and show every error and terrible services provided for them to do that. And at the end of the day they were dishonesties and forced us to pay for breaks we no longer consented to. Terrible customer service and overall awful experience. Frustrates me as I am young and a woman that I can't rely on a mechanic to give reasonable prices, do reasonable work, and not sell me on things I don't need. It's really disappointing especially when my dad has had no problems since he has been going there which has been at least 5years but probably longer. After this company reached out to me for further details from my review, I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a customer service rep that did not follow through with expectations and said they never set them. Took 2 calls to get the refund for the overcharge on the part, even though she said she would do it on the first call. No communication back - a terrible experience! However, on my 3rd call, nearly 3 weeks into this ordeal, I finally reached a different rep. Lorraine was amazing. She made sure she fully understood the situation and even clarified to double check before we hung up. She promised she would get back to me today and she followed through and they are finally properly compensating me for the experience. If I would have randomly gotten Lorraine in the first place, this surely would have been resolved right away. This is by far the worst shop I ever went to they over tightened my lug nuts on my rims to over 120 pounds!!!! when it supposed to be only 80 pounds per factory specs they didn't even use a torque wrench at all they used was a impact gun with no regard at all! ALSO my wheel alignment was butchered!!! My steering was off centered over 1" and when I called Rob there so called manager to explain what happen to my car he gave me a bad attitude and told me I'm complaining to much and hung up the phone on me. Visiting from Arizona and rented a car. During our stay we encountered a big nail in our tire. We went to PEP BOYS and they were going to charge us $30 to patch and the wait was going to be about 3 hrs. So we decided to find another tire store and we came across Tire Choice. Josh the asst Manager came to our rescue and saved us $30 and got us in fast. He was very friendly and very helpful as we were waiting around and asking about my other vehicle for recommendations. I was tinkering with my icon suspension to get my 4runner a bit more level and noticed that the ride quality was starting get worse. Big knobby tires + out of alignment = interesting ride characteristics. I decided to get an alignment and get air added to my tires. I looked on yelp for shops open on sunday and it looked like slim pickings. This was one of the better rated shops open. The people here are pretty cool and they do a good job. Just give them a call before you head over so that there is no wait. I was able to get in and out within 45 minutes. I have been dealing with my Honda civics TPS light coming on and off for the last 8 months. I have been to multiple shops to fill up my tires and then tell me that there's nothing wrong with my tire pressure. Finally one of the places told me that my sensor could be broken. I have going been to this place for oil,filter service for 3 years . 14 months ago they did my 30,000 year service which was $330. Today l came in for my synthetic oil service with oil filter which is the standard $57. I was told during my stay there that l needed a engine flush , brake flush which are both $89 separately, as well as a engine compartment filter $24, my battery had some corrosion and for $14.95 they would clean that off. I have 34k miles on my 2015 Toyota Corolla , and it's driven 32 miles a week. 1.) what services did you complete at 30k miles ? ( l wish l could find the receipt) 2.) So in 4K miles your telling me these flushes , and filters are dirty ? 3.) I opened the hood when l got home to find the Tech had not put back the protective cover over the positive cable of the battery cable . I should have take a picture, but l started cleaning the corrosion off. ALSO, it took 3-4 minutes with a wire brush , but you wanna charge people $14.95 ??? I didn't just fall off the turnip truck . It's sad that this shop gets so many good reviews because it's obvious they are pulling the wool over a lot of customers eyes . Going in for a $57 synthetic oil change just isn't good enough for these guys . I promise I won't be back . Take my name and phone out of your system. I will now be going to a small import shop , family owned and recommend for my Toyota's service . In response to Shane , l took my Toyota over to my new import mechanic and because of the very frequent use of my driving history of putting 3,500 miles a year on my car. ( l rounded up too ) They would never recommend the fuel service , and brake fluid flush which cost $89 for each service . Shane , my fluids are NOT dirty and need this service ; as my car goes from one garage to another covered garage at work . The filters you recommend can easily go another 5k miles , so another year . As for the battery corrosion, it's comical that you charge customers $14.95 when all it takes is a small wire brush , a little bit of baking soda/water , and 3 minutes of your time to scrub the corrosion off . The Tech also left the protective cover off my positive battery cable for my drive home . What would have happen if metal touched that terminal during my drive home ? My electrical system would have shorted out and left me stranded and incurring unnecessary repair costs due to your Tech's incompetence. I will not respond to any more of your emails and will not call you . I wanted people to know that your not running a honest business, because all l needed was a $57 oil service and your Mgt, there tried to turn my oil service into a $300.00 bill. That's not right . I came in at opening to get a tire patched and was told it's an hour and a half wait. The tech that checked my tires was super nice, however the guys inside checking people in and doing the paper work, need did lessons in customer service. As I came back in the guy at the counter never said he'd be with me in a moment, didn't address me any way, he even made eye contact and nothing! He said not one word. He let me stand there until the other guy came in. Another guy came in that had an apt and he was told an hour and a half for his oil change... the customer pitched a fit then he was in and out in 30 min. It's hard to find a reliable shop in town, but I was lucky enough to find this one! I've come here to replace a tire, oil change, wheel alignment, and brake service. I came here the first time to replace a tire. I told them what type of tire I wanted, and they didn't try to sell me on an upgraded set of tires. I eventually got another tire replaced at a different tire shop (Discount Tires), but they tried to sell me on a set of more expensive tires. I like how this place doesn't pressure you to do that. They tell you your options and they'll give you what you want with no question. This place has great deals and coupons. They honored all 3 of the coupons that I had! I received a coupon in the mail for a $19 oil and filter, $20 for tire rotation and wheel balancing, and $99 for disc brake service per axle (regular price would have been $147). Also got a wheel alignment too. I was also able to use the Yelp discount: $28 for $40 service. I thought this was a pretty amazing deal and was happy they accepted all my coupons and discounts! :D Eric the Store Manager was very personable and helpful. He didn't try to sell me on anything and told me exactly what I needed done and exactly how long it would take to complete. The wait time was reasonable. This is at a good location at Sunset and Mountain Vista/Sunset. There's a lot of places to go to while you wait. I went out for lunch at the Olive Garden, got a pedicure, and watched the Kentucky Derby at their waiting room. My SUV had a slow leak in the right front tire and since Smith's grocery store was just across the street, decided to stop by Superior Tire. Jon Ritz greeted me and had the wheel off in just a few minutes and showed me a nasty screw in my almost new tire. His assistant patched and balanced the tire quickly and I approached the counter to pay as my vehicle was being backed out. NO CHARGE he said! What? NO CHARGE! I would first like to apologize for almost taking two weeks to write this! On May 1st, I was having a real rough day, and it all started with driving into my first meeting of the day when something fell off the truck in front of me and it shredded my tire. This was at 6:30 in the morning. I immediately pulled over and checked it out. Luckily I was on run flats so I knew I could get to a service store, but I also knew this was going to postpone my day. Looking on Maps, I saw that Superior tire was close and opened at 7am - whereas most stores open at 8am. I carefully drove over to the store and parked. As I sat in my car waiting for the store to open, it started to rain and before it came down even harder, I went up to the door and asked if I could at least wait inside until the store opened. That is when I met Robert. He said I could, but I he couldn't help me yet. I waited and promptly at 7, his staff was able to assist and we were able to get the process going. Apparently my tire is a special order tire, but Robert made sure to tell me that I only needed the one, and replacing all the tires would be a waste. He ordered the tire and had it delivered to the store. He made numerous phone calls to check on the status and confirmed with not only the delivery company, but also the storage warehouse to ensure that it was being done correctly. He offered to have me get a ride to my next meetings and get picked up after them, but fortunately I was able to move work around due to the unfortunate circumstances. I will always take my car back to Robert to be serviced for tires and quick repairs. Robert is honest and friendly. Something you don't see from very many mechanic shops, but something I truly appreciate. Although the day started off pretty rough, he did what he could to pick up my spirits and make the day better. The response by the District Manager is inaccurate. Perhaps he was told that was what he was told by his staff, but I never dealt with him directly so I doubt he was even there. I spoke to one person behind the register, and I was turned away. Logically, why would I leave if I was told that I would be taken care of. I had no problem with waiting.
