Tipsy Tiki in Waikiki is a small but very cool spot to grab a drink. I stopped in for a Mai Tai, which was refreshing. The ambiance has a fun, laid-back feel, making it a great place to relax for a quick drink before exploring more of Waikiki. It's not a big bar, but that's part of its charm. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

I was looking for a casual bar to grab some drink and found this place in the food hall. Bartender recommended their tipsy mai tai and decided to go with it. Presentation was nice but it was a little light on the alcohol and a lot of ice. Overall I was ok to have some drinks and hang out.

We found this little gem while looking for a spot to watch the 49ers game, and it did not disappoint. Drinks were strong, smooth, and looked almost too pretty to sip on (almost). The piña coladas were the kind that make you rethink every sad blender version you've ever had at home, and the Tipsy Mai Tai definitely lived up to its name. The bartender was super friendly, the vibe was laid-back, and while there were a surprising number of Bucs fans hanging around, respect. It just added to the fun. TVs all around, good energy, and tiki drinks that sneak up on you in the best way. A great little spot to grab a few drinks, watch some football, and pretend you're living your best island life.

Tiki bar located in the mall food court in Waikiki. We actually came here two times in one day- once before the cirque de soleil show, then I brought my brothers here for an after show drink. Same bartender and she was great and very friendly, made killer drinks too. Lots of regulars here, but felt very welcomed. Cool vibe and was fitting for Hawaii.

Loved this place! We visited this cool little place on 02/21/25. Our server was fantastic I don't remember her name but she had a thick accent. We tried the Casamigos Cadillac margarita, guava margarita, chips and salsa, birria ramen, and the birria beef tacos. We returned on Sunday 2/23/25 for more food and drinks. We had the beef nachos and La Pina margaritas. The guy working Sunday was nice and provided outstanding customer service. The drinks are strong which is great! (We sat outside and were served by the outdoor staff).

Great vodka suggestions and amazing micheladas.

Amazing service and amazing drinks!!! First time visiting Hawaii and this has been our go-to. Micheladas are a 10/10 and what got us hooked. All other drinks have been phenomenal as well. In such a clean, fun area as well. Near many shops. Matt is the best!!! Definitely will be visiting again.

This place will leave you tipsy or maybe I'm just a lightweight. I came in for a snack and drink and ordered guacamole and chips and a mai tai. Surprisingly, the guacamole and chips were very good. The guacamole was fresh and creamy. It needed a little more salt. The chips were light and crunchy. The mai tai was good and strong - sweet, sour, tropical and boozy. I felt tipsy within 30 minutes. Service was excellent and the vibe was relaxed and casual. The bartender was friendly and my food came out quickly. Thank goodness I was in walking distance and not driving. The mai was a strong drink. I drank it all because it was good and wasn't going to let it go to waste.

One of the first spots I got a drink from in Waikiki with an awesome food court, It's more like a dining hall... The bartender Andrea was out of this world She was closing up but still had some aloha spirit and made my lady and I some awesome mezcal margaritas! Highly recommend stopping by It's a lot less expensive than a lot of other places The only hang up is that they close at 9:00 because they love their employees! read more

I entered the bar area and the young gentleman waited on me right away. He was very attentive and made excellent drinks. I will definitely return! I've noticed that most bartenders, servers don't wear name tags and I wish they did. So customers aren't say hey and then we can recognize them in our reviews. read more

I've given this place two tries. First time: completely ignored for 20 minutes - got the message we were not important (FYI: we are locals). Tried again 7 months later. The bartender literally acted like we were the biggest inconvenience - even though only 5 other people at the bar. If you look at my reviews, I rarely complain, I only like to praise. But this establishment made it a worth my while to actually post a negative review. read more

*Disclaimer I wouldn't call this a tiki bar * Most of the signature drinks are tequila based but are still fantastic. Matt is an excellent bartender and the best one we had on Oahu. His signature old fashioned was one of the best old fashioned I've ever had. He recommended the fish tacos and they were so good! Would come back for Matt alone. Great hustle and drinks read more

I wanted to get coffee at Kona coffee but the line was to long. Decided to stop by here and I was not disappointed. I met the local bartender Matt who recently won a bartending competition. He was super friendly and could make any drink if you tell him what your alcohol preference is. 5 stars will recommend!!! read more

Birthday trip Honolulu 2023' we were looking for the best Lychee Martinis and the best Mai tai. We came very close to finding it. I would say this place is number 1 for drinks but I haven't checked out enough bars on the island to make that call so I'm gonna to say this place is running top 3 for cocktails. The service was on point , the bar tender was funny and professional, he kept the cups full . Although this little bar is in a mall setting slash food hall you'll definitely feel like you're in your own little tiki oasis. Prices are just right for the quality of drinks they offer. TVs offering the latest sporting event (Super Bowl) & music. They also offer small bites to eat that you can order from the surrounding restaurants and get delivered right to the bar , or you can bring your own eats to the bar while you drink, because I'm pretty sure there was a person sitting a couple seats over eating an Açaí bowl at the bar while his lady sipped a glass of wine. I usually feel awkward and uncomfortable sitting at a bar by myself, but I had a really good experience here. I didn't catch the bartender's name, but he was so nice, friendly, and attentive. The seating (a small square around the bartending area) is very sociopetal, making it easy to interact with the staff as well as the patrons surrounding you. If you want to meet new people, come here and sit at a corner seat, then you'll have a full row of people on either side of you to interact with. There was live music when I went (Tuesday, around dinner time), but it wasn't too loud and you could easily have a conversation with someone sitting next to you. This bar is extremely well designed. I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm in Waikiki! read more

Aaahh... what to say as I Enjoy this delicious Michelada made by the one and only, yours truly Mixologist MATT. One of the best micheladas I've had, it's nice to know he makes the mix. Every time/anytime you happen to walk by the "Tipsy Tiki" ensure MATT is working the joint. His character & hospitality make it all the better. The bar and food hall are located in the heart of Waikiki at the iconic International Market Place, where Don Beach had his world famous bar Don the Beachcomber and invented the Mai Tai! It has a classic dive-meets-modern tiki bar vibe, where you can get classic tropical libations, amazing margaritas, or even something simple if you desire. The sauce was so flavorful and went perfectly with the white rice. It also came with a fresh salad tossed in a nice tangy vinaigrette that balanced out the richness. The whole dish was a huge surprise, and we loved it. Service was great, as you'd expect from a Westin property. Parking tip: there's no dedicated parking, so you'll need to valet at the hotel or walk over from a nearby lot.
