Grapefruit mimosa and beer for breakfast !!! CHEERS!!!
Rosemarie C.

Belle our server is very sweet . Food was great . And very cute cozy place just right outside the snug cove ferry.

Last minute idea to head to Bowen Island for lunch ... first time trying Tippy's and it will now be our " go to" spot!!! Great menu with all day breakfast plus a full lunch/ brunch set of choices. Do yourself a favor and " build your own breakfast " and choose the latkis instead of regular potatoes... perfectly fine! The staff were amazing!!! No " not my section" here- interacted with several and all were super pleasant and engaging... the drip coffee features a " bottomless cup" with refills - the nostalgia brought a tear to my eye...

Bacon jam Benny

Definitely the best breakfast I've had on Bowen so far they make it all from scratch. It seems like even the stuff in the case or at least the muffins and I had the bacon jam bunny, and it was delicious. It was a hash brown or latke I guess with the bacon jam and then poached eggs and like a delicious green salad on the side with their own dressing I'm assuming About $23 for that plus tax

Food was a bit mid - nothing special. However, the ambiance of the restaurant was very cozy and homey. I really liked the interior design. Service was just okay. I would come here to try it once but wouldn't feel the need to come back again.

Chorizo scramble skillet. Added a side of French Toast.

Chorizo scramble skillet: the scrambled eggs were very smooth. The hot sauce wasn't too spicy. Tasted pretty good. The service was alright. We got the food quite fast and that's quite about it lol. The restaurant / cafe interior was quite comfy. The outdoor patio is not bad on a sunny day.

Starbuck's was Mr. B's favorite for coffee and we prefer the smaller independently owned coffee shops and Fox and Oak is a gem. Located in downtown Squamish, really on the outskirts of downtown. This tiny little spot has a long bar with seating and then a lovely patio. The staff at the register taking orders both times was so friendly, helpful and offered great recommendations. On our first visit it was a latte for Mr. B and a Chai Latte for me, both were creamy, filled with rich flavor without being bitter. We also shared a maple walnut donut. Oh it was so good. I can't say the last time I had a donut, but when in Canada, maple anything is always so good. The donut was light and had a lovely maple glaze on the top and then toasted walnuts. So good! On our second visit, we had the same drinks, the same Maple Walnut Donut and added a blueberry fritter. The fritter was crunchy on the outside, after the first bite we could see the layers of dough much like a croissant and in the middle were loads of fresh blueberries. Wow, fresh berries and not a sweet fake blueberry gel. It truly was scrumptious. Parking is on the street and can be tight, but both times we found parking even with a short walk. Which was good to walk off our donuts and pastries.
