I like this place. Really do.... BUT they could be soo much better. They have good rotisserie chicken. The pernil is hit and miss. So roasted pork should be tender on the inside and have super crispy fluffy skin. The way Mama used to make. These guys know what they're doing. A couple of times it's been great. A couple of times not so great. The rice would also be better if they used real rice, not that par boiled / fake yellow rice imitation they are trying to pass off. And for goodness sake MAKE SOME REAL BLACK BEANS!!! How does a Hispanic restaurant not serve BLACK BEANS!!! Common guys, you could be so much more authentic. This place really has the ability to be much better. Please, there's not enough good alimento para el alma in this area.
