Excellent food, always fresh, and a friendly staff. This is by far the best food anywhere in the area. Every other place is horrid fast food or cheap, greasy, and tasteless Chinese. Best chicken cutlet sandwich I ever had. Chicken soup is fresh and delicious with big pieces of chicken, corn on the cob pieces and cilantro. Never too salty and made fresh daily. Really good neighborhood spot with delicious food. The owners are friendly, professional and accommodating. The bright colored restaurant is quaint and small but the vibe is great. Spanish music is always on and creates a cool place to dine in or if you are picking up food. The food is delicious; everything I order from here is freshly prepared. My fave is the veggie tostada; fried corn tortilla topped with grated cheese, fried beans and topped with lettuce and tomato, guacamole and sour cream. The green sauce on the side is deadly but delicious; adds a big spicy kick. Other go tos: turkey on a roll, fresh turkey. The veggie burrito is chock filled with veggies: spinach, corn, mushrooms, beans and rice with lettuce and tomato on the side. The prices are so reasonable: $6.50 for a spinach and mozzarella omelet with home fries and choice of bread. The smoothies are delicious: highly recommend the mango. Formerly Doowop Griddle, the Mexican touch they added here is a welcome addition. The waffles here are great, and they have expanded their breakfast options to include various omelettes, pancakes, and other sandwiches. I just tried their tacos for the first time, and I enjoyed them! If you are in to shrimp tacos, be sure to ask if they have it. It is not something that they offer on their menus currently. I've been getting waffles and pancakes at this place for the past few years and they been good until today. I got a waffle for my 3 year old son. I took a bite of it and it had a sour taste. Note I didn't put any syrup. I thought I was going crazy. I asked my husband to taste it and he said that it did tasted sour. Unfortunately my son already had 5 bites of it. I immediately took the waffle from him and threw it away. A little more than $8 wasted. Who knows if their ingredients went bad or they put something in the waffle to make it taste sour. Now I don't trust this restaurant and will no longer get any food from here. read more

Their waffles are made fresh to order and there's a bunch of different varieties. Would recommend trying because they're fresh and really good. It's not a fancy place but they have stools and a small area for customers to eat In. Wouldn't recommend for big crowds. You're better off buying and taking your food elsewhere to eat if it's a crowded hour But the real gem here is the Mexican food! The tacos are really good and always made fresh. I've tried their shrimp tacos and regular tacos. They're so good. For a order of tacos it comes with 3 and you can mix and match different meats to your own liking. The shrimp and fish tacos have to be ordered on their own. Their burritos are good and filling. Not a huge fan of the steak because it was a little tough but the carnitas and chicken is a great choice. Had the chicken soup there too, it's good for when you're sick. I've been here multiple times for tacos, would recommend if you're craving authentic tacos or Mexican food in general. They make everything fairly quickly and I've never had a bad experience. Their food comes with salsa verde but they can be a little stingy with that have you make sure you ask but normally they offer it. This place ACCEPTS BOTH cash and card. Pronto is my go-to spot for breakfast (and sometimes lunch...) in my area. They have all the standard fare for reasonable prices (breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, pancakes, etc.) which is great if you're just craving some comfort food, and they have some really great authentic Mexican breakfast options as well. Breakfast is served all day. Their regular menu is also split into diner-esque classics and mexican dishes. I've ordered tons of different things from both sides of the menu and have been pleased every time! I particularly recommend the nachos con carne, huevos a la Mexicana and the pancakes, but seriously everything I've ordered from this place has been great! Pronto is a classic nyc hole in the wall, very limited seating so don't go there with a group expecting to sit down for brunch (not that you can do that anywhere right now during these COVID times...), but they do have a handful of bar-style seats along the wall if you want to stay for a minute and eat (again, not right now but...maybe again someday soon?). They have truly been a lifesaver during lockdown/while I've been working from home when I'm fed up with toast for the hundredth breakfast in a row. I love Pronto so much! The staff is so sweet and lovely - it's a real neighborhood spot. I was house sitting in Flatbush for a few weeks and visited Pronto almost daily. They knew my order as soon as I walked in. I love that they are a mexican establishment because along with the breakfast and typical deli foods, they also have tons of mexican classics like al pastor tacos and burritos, etc. There's a really great energy in here you can tell they care about their customers and I wish them all the best! I passed by this place a lot during errand runs around junction and today I finally stopped by for breakfast and this place is AMAZING!! I ordered Belgian waffles with Nutella & Strawberries and eggs and bacon and this is one of the best/tastiest breakfast meals I ate in a long time!! The menu has a very large variety so whether you're eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they'll have something to order. So this place is pretty good. It's like Mexican/American diner but in a Quick on the go fashion. There are seats and you can eat your food their, but frankly I think it's just better to do take out. They make good waffles, but make sure you open that container quick after you buy it before that boy gets soggy. That's not on them tho, they can't control steam. I haven't had their Mexican food so I can't comment on that. But their American food is fine. I wouldn't recommend there regular fries tho, get the seasoned ones. So there was a period where I was going there for about a month for lunch every so often. And something I really liked about the place was how cheap the food was. The prices match the quality. It was quick diner food and there were no complaints. But then one day I went in there and literally every item and was raised a dollar or more, and they had new menus with new prices. I know there isn't a big difference - but it adds up. I don't understand why am paying 7 dollars for a waffle on Friday and 8 dollars on Monday.
