This place is around the corner from me and today after running my errands I was in my way home and decided I wanted a quick snack before I cook dinner lol so I ordered two chicken tacos and they were made fresh to go when I got home I swallowed both of them but seriously great tacos definitely will get some more

I suggest NO Should go to a place where the homeless lay in front of the store all day drinking.. what kinda nasty thing is that.. Also, they don't get order correct.. I asked for a chicken sandwich w/ cheese and a side of fries.. fries are DRY and COLD and sandwiches never has cheese but I paid of it!!!

Really good neighborhood spot with delicious food. The owners are friendly, professional and accommodating. The bright colored restaurant is quaint and small but the vibe is great. Spanish music is always on and creates a cool place to dine in or if you are picking up food. The food is delicious; everything I order from here is freshly prepared. My fave is the veggie tostada; fried corn tortilla topped with grated cheese, fried beans and topped with lettuce and tomato, guacamole and sour cream. The green sauce on the side is deadly but delicious; adds a big spicy kick. Other go tos: turkey on a roll, fresh turkey. The veggie burrito is chock filled with veggies: spinach, corn, mushrooms, beans and rice with lettuce and tomato on the side. The prices are so reasonable: $6.50 for a spinach and mozzarella omelet with home fries and choice of bread. The smoothies are delicious: highly recommend the mango. Finally, delivery is Pronto!

Formerly Doowop Griddle, the Mexican touch they added here is a welcome addition. The waffles here are great, and they have expanded their breakfast options to include various omelettes, pancakes, and other sandwiches. I just tried their tacos for the first time, and I enjoyed them! If you are in to shrimp tacos, be sure to ask if they have it. It is not something that they offer on their menus currently. I actually have been coming here since the Doowop days, and I recommend this place as an inexpensive option.

The service is impeccable, the wait staff is well versed in the menu and will offer help if you don't know how to truly get the best sandwich that you can. The star here is the roast beef sandwich, it's moist and flavorful and cooked absolutely perfectly. My suggestion is to order it with cheese and have it dunked in the au jus. I prefer what they call a "knife and fork job" where the sandwich, the meat the bread is all dunked and comes out in a river of au jus. They make amazing sides, I typically go for the onion rings and corn fritters which are tasty, fried nugget of sweet corn and they are delicious. Do note, they only take cash and sometimes it takes a while to get your food but in the end it is so very worth it.

Curious about the "famous" Brooklyn roast beef war -- yeah! it's a thing! -- T and I decided to see for ourselves. (Once I try the competition I'll weigh in with my vote.) With a reputation built on beef we ignored other options and researched how to order. You can get double dip, "dingle-dangle" (don't ask), cheese/no cheese ... it was confusing. We both went with rare roast beef, cheese and onions. T asked for his double-dipped in gravy. Yum! Short of five stars, but yum nonetheless. We ordered two unhealthy sides which added to the decadence of our lunch: corn fritters and onion rings. If you only get one, go with the fritters. The place is busy. You'll likely have to wait a bit -- but I found it interesting to watch the guys at the counter work. Service was friendly and attentive. Unlike someone's comment about paying blind -- not so. We were given a check with an accurate breakdown of what we ordered. Prices are posted. And yes -- cash only.

The salmon over hash brown , was lacking a touch of something , couldn't pinpoint what was lacking. Chicken and waffles, decent, wasn't the best I've had. Service- jonathan was our waiter during brunch and also our bartender. He's GREAT! During service dinner, we had a female waitress and I felt she lacked attention to details and couldn't flag her down when we wanted something. Overall, service is a hit or miss , I guess? My cousin got the chicken flatbread, it was good but I was stuck on my taste. She also ordered the vegan chopped cheese, it could have been good but the presentation was giving, sloppy Joe in a better bun.
