The only other customers were a large family enjoying a nice brunch, but the sweet lady behind the counter happily took my order and set me up at a nearby table. I rolled with the pollo asado torta, and I was so pleasantly surprised by how fresh and high quality it was. Freshly grilled chicken, creamy avocado, plenty of cheese...it was super flavorful, and didn't need much beside a little hot sauce to set it off right. She also included a small order of fries on the side, and it was exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, I'm sure I'll be back at Urban Air soon enough, but I'll happily sneak out for more snacks at C-Xique again anytime.

I got my plate and took a seat in the back of the restaurant where there is ample seating and black film over the windows to keep the sun at bay. This chicken was fantastic, although not top 5. I have it right at the top of my A-tier rankings for chicken spots, just barely missing S-tier. S-tier is special though, reserved for the Casa Adelas, Malecons, and Caravan Chickens of the world. Sides were great and the beef empanada was special. The beef was so well seasoned and reminded me of how my Granny used to make it. Shout out to Granny! As I'm doing research for this review, I realize they sell a Henny Colada. My only regret in life may be not getting this Henny Colada. However, I didn't enjoy the home fries or sausage. The sausage was nearly burnt--they shouldn't have even served it at that point.
