I've taken my coworkers here for Happy Hour, I've taken my friends here for dinner, and they are always impressed. - Ricotta Dreamsicle Super solid mocktail. It really does taste like those orange creamsicles everyone had when they were growing up. All my friends were impressed - Cabbage Salad I was debating on getting this or the Butter Beans since I wanted to try something new. If I had to choose, I'd stick with Butter Beans. But if you're looking for something light and refreshing, Cabbage Salad is a great choice! - Fried Quail I know it's quail so it's going to be small but I did wish the portion was a little bigger. The meat itself was tender and mosit with a crispy exterior! The gamechanger was the sauce though- idk what they put it in but I was literally putting the sauce on my salad I was obsessed - Creamy Rissoto Good lawd this was fire. The flavors were flavoring. 10/10, would definitely get it again. - Short Rib This was another super solid dish. The meat was extremely tender and I loved the creamy poletna with pickled carrots. It is a little pricey though ($36) but if you're in the mood to splurge, this is a good choice! - Gladiator I got this when I tried Tiny Champions for the first time and I love this dish. As the sister restaurant of Nancy's Hustle, I knew Tiny Champions would have a lot to live up to - and it did that and more! A few friends and I stopped by for dinner after hearing rave reviews. We were in for a treat! Our plans were last minute so we were lucky enough to get a walk-in table after around 20 minutes. Our servers were all very kind and attentive. We opted for the baked feta to share and I had the beached in Monaco cocktail. I loved the light, refreshing sweetness of the drink before digging into the meal. The feta was a big hit and went so well with the other ingredients! Next we had the rigatoni, which was a recommendation from another friend. We're glad we listened to her! The creaminess of the sauce was to die for and we were all wishing for more at the end. It's a good thing we ordered in advance so we could still try some delicious pizzas - we had the salami piccante and brussels sprouts. The salami piccante has been on their menu for a while for a good reason - it is simply delicious. The hot honey addition is so tasty and adds an extra kick. I loved the ricotta on it as well. The Brussels sprouts was a seasonal offering that we were all curious to try - they were roasted nicely but I just can't say I'm a Brussels sprouts on pizza fan after trying it. Solid Houston Happy Hour spot! My friends and I made a last-minute reservation - thank God we did because it got busy. We ordered some items on and off the HH menu. What's nice is that they have an extensive mocktail list - try the ricotta dreamsicle! For food we shared their oysters, Greens Pizza, Braised Butter Beans, Mushrooms, Baked Feta, Rigatoni, and Pistachio Lemon Ricotta Ice Cream Cake. Everything was amazing and nicely portioned, and my top 2 faves were the Baked Feta and the Ice Cream Cake. The baked feta was so creamy and comforting, while the Ice Cream Cake wasn't overly sweet and so refreshing with the fresh slices of orange on top. Delicious! My friend suggested this place in Edo and it definitely did not disappoint. We have been to their sister restaurant at Nancy's hustle so I was excited to try this one. I will say it looks like it does get packed as we went on a week night and had to get a reservation. We ended up only being able to sit out on the patio. It was okay because the temperature wasnt too bad but they were blasting the AC inside so it felt colder inside than out. They have a nice selection of pizzas, pastas and wine and it looks like they rotate their menu seasonally as ingredients become available. We got a few pizzas - the salami picante, yukon potato, and the fennel sausage were all incredible. For the pasta we got the rigatoni which actually was my favorite. My friend also made us try the fancy ranch. That sauce was crack. We loved it, got a few glasses of wine as well. Fantastic pizza. Awful service. Mario, the host, couldn't be more rude and inconsiderate. This is my 2nd bad experience with him. I tried to make a reservation after being told what times are available. I called back 7 times and no answer. I went into the store and explained to him what happened, showing him all 7 calls, and asked if he could help us out. I also mentioned that we're from out of town, and I convinced my family to drive an hour to try this incredible pizza. He couldn't have cared less and completely dismissed it. What's ironic is he didn't have to solve the problem to prevent a bad experience. He just had to show one iota of consideration. He could've easily said "Let me see what I can do and I promise you if I can make it happen I will." Knowing full well that there was a 0% chance that he could do anything, just pretend to care instead of pointing the finger at the customer and telling me that it's my fault that I didn't get a reservation even though they didn't answer 7 calls. I wish the best for this business. But that was so awful that I believe it needed to be said. Parking on the street was plentiful and felt somewhat safe, despite the fresh broken glass on a spot I decided to pass up, for one in front of main entrance. That's right, the same herbal spirit in your Nespresso carajillos. Perfectly shaken and at $11 or so, I could see myself ubering back for a few very soon. Onto the dinner, there were about 12 in our party and we were seated in a long rectangular formation. No split checks so let's order some big ass plates for all. Of all the pizzas, I enjoyed the pepperoni the best. With a tasty pepperoni profile and perfectly chewy crust, this pizza is a must order. There was a ravioli with green peas that I absolutely enjoyed and would order again. The dessert was divine and that coffee ice cream and fudge combo be bussin'! The service was impeccable and the only reason I must take a 1 star deduction are the prices. Perhaps our group ordered the high dollar dishes; but I think the overall price for the table should have reflected more of a caviar priced dinner. Tiny champion , BIG TASTE!! This was my favorite restaurant during my time in Houston last week. I am still dreaming about the picante pizza. The goat cheese mixed with the hot honey, I'm literally drooling as I type. It's a pizza I will never forget. We also ordered the pasta rigatoni. It was so delicious and the best pairing with a pizza. The portions are perfect for sharing and very filling. We also ordered an appetizer that was off the Menu, it was ciabatta bread with feta in a tomato sauce, slightly spicy and the perfect starter for our food journey. I am really glad the hostess told us to save room for dessert, because their home made ice cream was insane and delicious. My husband ordered the traditional vanilla and I got the cinnamon and oat with caramelized apples. It was so delicious. Overall, I'm really sad there isn't a place in NJ because I literally cannot stop thinking about the picante pizza. Decided to come here last minute open the recommendation of a friend. It was midweek and we did not have a reservation, but we came before going to a concert at the Bayou Music Center. Small and intimate. Thankfully, they were able to get us in by moving some things around. Initially, we were told they only had patio seating available, but since we were going somewhere else, and the humidity level was high (my wife didn't want bad hair) they moved things around and were able to get us a two-top table inside. Major kudos to the two young ladies working the front. We ordered the rigatoni and bigoli (see photos). Both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The rigatoni was very rich and high on flavor. It was the first time for either of us to try bigoli pasta. The guaniciale in the bigoli was cubed and crispy. Delicious! We'll definitely be coming back here. The patio is a really nice, large space with the plants and lights. Service was excellent from the hostess to our waitress and even the servers who brought out our food. A friend of mine recommended Tiny Champions it's me a bit ago and it's been on my list to try for a while. We went on a Sunday evening and found that there was surprised it was a 20 minute wait. We said to ourselves this place must be good. When they finally called our name and they let us to our table I was surprised to see it was at least five empty tables around the restaurant. Not sure why we had to wait if there was five tables open, but it is what it is. We got seated and ended up having to wait a good five plus minutes before the waitress came over to say hi or even take our drink order. Right after they took our order, they sat a party of four next to us and within 30 seconds the waitress was over taking a drink order. We ordered a sausage pizza and the chicken milanese appetizer. Both were decent. When it was time for the check, I had to flag the waitress down and still ended up having to wait to a bit to get the check. When we were leaving, they had to be 20 people standing outside, waiting to get in. Seriously I don't get it. I am not sure why people are waiting for average food and super slow service. Houston is a big city with a lot of really good restaurants that have great food and good service. There is an apartment complex right next-door so maybe if that's the only place you can walk to get dinner, that's where you're going to go but seriously don't waste your time. read more

The interior vibe is like a classy dim-lit Italian dining experience while the outdoor patio feels like a spacious garden lit with string lights and plenty of seating. We ordered the fennel sausage pizza and the creamy risotto, both of which tasted very good. The pizza had a cripsy thin crust and tasted like a solid combination style pizza. The creamy risotto was my favorite, there was a hint of lemon/lime and the dish was very umami. I would recommend trying this. The prices are a little expensive for what it is though, $24 for a medium size pizza albeit high quality and $21 for the risotto which the portion size was a little small in my opinion. But really, it deserves fresh shaved Parmigiano Reggiano on top, to excel. I was torn between ordering a pasta, or another pizza because I wanted to try something else, while there. I decided to order the Hawaiian pizza since it was a limited time menu item, that they brought back. I saw on IG that they were donating portions of the proceeds to the Maui Fire efforts. I appreciated the good cause. This was also good, flavor wise with the spice of the jalapeño and the sweet of the pineapple. However, I would have liked a deeper crust on this one. The thin crust doesn't hold the heaviness of all of the ham/pineapple/jalapeños plus the cheese. It gets kind of slippery and too wet, and you lose that bite that you really want. Overall, while the pizza was not as amazing as I was expecting, the rest of my experience at Tiny Champions has made it one of my new favorite restaurants in Houston and I can't wait to come back to try more! Butter bean dish: saw another review rave about this and the hype was real!! This was definitely my favorite dish of the night, delicious and comforting. The pickled garlic was interesting flavor added, it "brightened" up the dish. A bite of the bread soaked in the sauce, added with some of the cream (toum?), with butter beans on top *droool* Radiator: my second favorite dish, it was the first time I've actually enjoyed octopus in pasta. The octopus had the perfect chewy texture Fennel sausage pizza: this was great with ranch or hot honey sauce, but honestly a little underwhelming when I took my bite. The crust was great, thin and crispy on the bottom, chewy crust. The tomato sauce was also delicious, but it just have that "amazing" factor as the other dishes Greens pizza: while still delicious, this was probably the biggest disappointment. One of my favorite pizzas of all time has a similar description, ricotta/mozarella/green stuff, but I could barely taste the ricotta/cheese under all the greens. It tasted like a "healthy" pizza, which I liked but just wasnt what I wanted. Coffee sundae: when I saw people with this I thought it was tiramisu at first, but this really hit!!! I don't normally get coffee ice cream but it's PACKED with flavor. My only wish is that the "donut holes" were served hot/fresh so that it could contract with the cold ice cream Service Chad at the bar was very friendly and gave us some great suggestions!
